Louis Barajas says most people struggle between spending now and saving for later because they lack a clear financial vision. When you build a concrete blueprint for your future, saving stops feeling like sacrifice and becomes purposeful. He calls this financial discipline part of achieving financial dignity for future generations.

You know, there's a financial battle happening inside of a lot of hardworking people and almost nobody talks about it. On one side of your mind, you're saying, I work hard, I deserve to enjoy my life, I deserve to take my kids to Disneyland, I deserve to have a dinner once in a while. And you know what? You're probably right. You deserve that. But on the other side of your mind, there's some other voice saying, I should probably be saving more. I should probably be investing more. I should probably be thinking about the future. And that voice is probably right too. So people feel stuck living between today's joys and tomorrow's responsibility. But here's the problem. Most people never find that balance because they don't have clarity about their future. When you don't know where you're going financially, it's easy to spend everything in the present. Balance becomes from having a bigger why. So when you have a clear vision of your future, when you have a blueprint for your life, saving money stops feeling like sacrifice. It starts feeling like more like building something meaningful. That's why my financial coaching focuses so heavily on helping people create a vision, a blueprint, and a clear path towards financial dignity. Because when you know where you're going, the choices you make today become much easier. Remember that our parents sacrificed for our opportunity. Now we sacrifice a little so our children can live with financial dignity. That balance is how we build a Latino economic revolution.
