If you're a Latino who has resources, influence, education, or success, this message is for you. Because making it out means something bigger than just making money. Now, some of us became business owners, professionals, managers, professors, and that's beautiful. But our community just doesn't need successful Latinos. We need visible Latinos. We need Latinos that are present. We need courageous Latinos. So here are 3 things we can do for people who still feel stuck. Number 1, stand up for people who don't have a voice. Sometimes people are scared. They're scared of authorities, scared of paperwork, scared of making mistakes. They're scared because nobody ever taught them the system. Now, if you understand how things work, help somebody navigate a contract, um, a bank account, a school meeting, a tax issue, a workplace problem. Sometimes one conversation changes someone's future. Number 2: Teach what nobody taught us. Not with ego, not to impress people, but because information changes families. Teach them about investing. Teach them about how to go to college. Teach them— teach somebody about giving them confidence or ownership. You know, one lesson can break generations of financial struggle. And the last one, number 3, open doors for people. Introduce people, mentor someone, recommend somebody for a job, support Latino businesses, help somebody believe they belong in rooms they never were told they could enter because success means more when it creates opportunity for others too.
