Hi, I'm Louis Barajas, and if you're new to my page, I want to share with you that I'm a personal financial expert and author and teacher, but I'm also one of the very few Latinos who helped pioneer this profession from the very beginning. I've spent decades in an industry where people who look like us were very few, and let alone at the table. I've served on national financial industry boards and helped shape conversations around financial planning and leadership at a national level. I've written 5 books on money, life, and legacy. I've spoken across the country. I've worked with families, entrepreneurs, artists, and everyday people who want clarity, confidence, and stability with their finances. I've been on television for many years, and today I'm proud to be part of the PBS show Opportunity Knox, where we help families create real lasting change in their lives. But here's the truth: none of that matters to me as much as this. I am the son of immigrant parents. I was raised in a community where people worked incredibly hard but were never taught how money really works, and I made it my life's mission to change that. This work isn't about getting rich. It's about creating financial freedom. It's about creating peace of mind, and it's about giving our kids choices we didn't have. Everything I share comes from lived experience, mistakes, lessons, and a deep love for this community. This is my life's work. This is my legacy. And if you're here, you're part of it too.
