Your Hard Moment Is Not Failure

Luis Barajas argues that hardship isn't failure but a defining moment that shapes who you are. He cites Marcus Aurelius to show that wealth and poverty happen to good and bad people alike, and urges you to build financial dignity instead of chasing money for its own sake.

This is Luis Baragas. And welcome back. And if you're going through a hard time, I want you to know that you're not behind in life. You're not cursed, and you're not failing just because things are hard for you right now. Now, I was just recently reading Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. It's a wonderful book here. And there's a paragraph that spoke to me and it said, death and life, success and failure, wealth and poverty happen to both good and bad people. I want you to think about that. Struggling financially does not mean you're a bad person. Losing money does not mean you're a failure. And starting over doesn't mean you're behind. It just means that you're in a moment. You're in a hard moment, stretching moment, or what I like to call a defining moment. And that moment is shaping who you're becoming. Money itself isn't good or bad. Struggle isn't good or bad. And success isn't good or bad either. Again, what matters is who you become while you go through it. What matters is that we build financial dignity along the way. Not chasing money, just a habit, but creating enough stability and abundance so money becomes a tool to live your highest vision of your best life. And at the end of the day, through wins and losses, through wealth and starting over, remember that we choose to stay good, grounded and humble human beings. And that's living with Corazon.
