It is. I don't know o' clock cuz my phone battery died.
6:57.
6:57. Gonna go on a hike to an undisclosed location. But first gonna get some zippies so we can eat some food at the top of the mountain. And after that, gonna go to the beach and hang out and. Oh yeah, we got a new car. Last time we had a black Porsche Cayenne. Porsche Cayenne. Now we have. Oh, a white one. How original. So, yeah, same car except white. Let's go. Dang. Okay, get yours, babe. Ow. It's hot. Cheers. It's like a big sugar donut. It's warm and hot. All right, so about to start this walk or this hike, this trek, this adventure to this mountain, right? Coco Crater. We got here and it's pretty freaking intimidating. So we'll see how it goes.
We can do it.
Look at this. Look at that. That's like a damn volcano. But the views up there will probably be great. So we'll see how it goes. Hopefully we make it.
We will make it.
Stay tuned. We have yet to find the trail we just came from. I think we're here from back there. The parking lot is way back there. We haven't seen the first steps, so. Oh, I guess parking lot sign is that way. We came from that way. Don't know what's over there, but I think it's this way, so. Oh, oh, oh, oh. I think. Yep, that. That's it. The beginning of it. Holy cow. Okay, let's see how it goes. Everyone coming down from this hike looks freaking defeated. We'll be right along with them. Hopefully. All right, we're at little thing number three. Not sure. Sam. This is the safe way. We're going the scary way. Let's go. Piece of cake. Dangerous side, manger side. I don't like heights, but I did it for you. Just for you, Sam. We made it to the top. I'd say the views are worth it. Not too shabby. Took us a while. How to make a couple stops, but we're live. We did it. It decided to call this place our new home. The top of this mountain.
Mostly because I don't want to make.
The trek back down. Yeah. The 1048 steps. Yeah. So don't. Don't want to do that. Now we begin our trek back down.
We can do it.
We can do it. Don't. Don't want to do. Might be harder than coming up. Might take us a couple hours, but maybe not. We'll just fly right down. But very hard trek. I Don't recommend you do it with kids. Some dude had a kid on his.
Back, and then he was carrying.
And then prop to that dude, because I could barely do it myself. Oh, and there was a couple dogs. Some people brought dogs. That was cool. But, yeah. Now we start the trek down. But look at these views. Look at them. Aren't they. Aren't they beautiful? Those are some beautiful views. But time to go down. It's getting hot. I'm getting crispy. Oh, wait. It's too late. Just kidding. All right, let's go. Oh, God. Going downhill, it's a lot more treacherous. Oh, God. Oh, God. It's a lot sketchier, but easier. And sure, the people on that are coming up. It helped us because it feels good. Gives him a little bit more energy. That dude with the hat right there, he's a Super Saiyan dude. Literally has weights on his ankles going up and down. That's crazy. Coming down. Easiest way is to kind of squat, like you're taking a poop, and try and hit each row, but stay squatted so your center of balance, or gravity is lower to the ground so you don't fall. Help points. Whoa. This dude is literally carrying a piece of wood. So there's the hard trail, and then there's the easy trail. This is where you pop out at the. When you're coming up right there, and then you can either jump right there or keep going. I say just jump right there because it gets harder and slippery. Don't suggest doing this hike when it is rainy or wet. These ones don't have any support underneath them, so gotta watch out. Suggestion is stay low like you're poopin'. Step on each one. Go slow, but try not to get on your butt, because then you gotta try and get up. So low and slow. Low and slow. Yeah. Oh, goodness. Oh, no. I'm betting on my boyfriend duties. Yeah.
Luis, you're failing your boyfriend duties.
Thank you.
Thank you so much. Take it you've done this before?
Yes.
How long does this part last?
Not 66. Oh, 6066.
If it had gone the whole way, I was like, wait a minute. Thank you so much.
You too.
I appreciate you. That was nice.
So hard. Path, 66 steps from the pro. Thank you both. Easy path. All right. Just finished the hike. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say that it's a. Dear God. Are we almost to the top? Oh, no. We're only 60% of the way. How about now? Nope. Only 70%. Oh, my God. I think I'm Gonna go down. Wait, going down. It's way too far. I guess I'll keep going up. And then once you get up, it's kind of worth it. But you're semi too tired to enjoy it.
I think everybody should experience that at least once.
Yeah.
It's torturous, but, like, take your time, take your breaks.
Oh, bring pro tip.
Hello. Water.
Bring water and then bring more water.
And then bring a little more.
And then if you think you have enough water, double that. Because we brought a lot of water and we went through it all, so.
And sunscreen.
Yeah.
Maybe an umbrella.
Your girl burnt and we put sunscreen on her. Yeah. And come.
Wait, what? 60 SPF on and cheese crispy.
And come early in the day because it's gonna take you a while to get up there. And it's hot right now. It's like 12. 12. Sure, it's 12. So it's 1140. I think it's hot.
You should go early.
Yeah.
Because it won't be as hot.
Yep.
But there will be more people.
Yep. Yep. There's gonna be people.
But that's more people to cheer you on.
Yeah.
And tell people about the hard parts. I was really struggling coming down, and this old man held my hand. Help me down.
She did it. We did it.
Time for some water.
Water. Yes.
Maybe a coconut.
Coconut. Oh, that's it. All right. We're gonna go. Not die in the car.
Okay. I need to breathe.
Now a true depiction of how you will feel after doing this hike. Okay. People are very kind when they're sharing in misery. They like. They like. They like to cheer each other on, which we did. We liked it when we were going up and we're like, dear God, it was helpful. And when you're coming down, it feels. It feels good. It makes your tummy feel good when you're telling someone, hey, you can do it. And then they're like, yeah, I can. I feel terrible, but I can do it. So cheer people on on your way down and on the way.
You can do it.
You can do it. It might take you a while, and your butt muscles will probably be tired by the end, but you can do it.
Hey, you don't have to work out for a few days now.
Yep. Yep. All right. Time for water. I have a problem. I can't stay away from Costco's. So we are back, but at a different one. See, for a third time this trip to get water bottles because we are thirsty. Sam. Sail today at Kylie oo Beach Park. I guess I'd Consider it a hidden gem. It's kind of tucked away beaches in the back of some residential neighborhood. Not too much parking at all. Didn't fill up. And there's a men's and women's restroom with a little shower so you can wash your feet after you're done. And then from, just from getting here, it doesn't look like much. But once you get out of your car you head that way and then you take a right. There's a lot more beach bar over there that you can hang out and post up. That's what we did and no one really bothered us. There was a couple of people that went by us but they ended up going further down. So pretty cool little spot. Sam. There's a lot more beach over there and then some more over there that some people had a big cooler and then they went out that way, that way around the corner. But yeah, pretty secluded. Not too many people. We brought our sand free or sand repellent towels. Tommy Bahama umbrella and the chair. So just hanging out, enjoying some beaches, eating some food and she's finding crabs. The water kind. The ones in, in the water. Those, those kind. So yeah, just gonna hang out here for a while and see what we get into peace. I've been sitting here and this Tommy Bahama umbrella and lawn chair are op. Highly recommended. It adjusts a bunch of ways through like the headrest so you can like go all the way back. Oh God. Oh, oh my body. And all the way forward and then this angles and go straight up and it's been pretty windy and it's, it's, it stayed on there. It has like a little things that you move down and you twist and then like screws it into the sand so it won't blow away. Highly recommended. I'll put links to them down below. If you have a friend or family that lives down there, just buy it and keep it down there. That's what we're gonna do. We're gonna leave it with my friend and probably next time that we come or something we'll just use it again. And heck, I might even have some for the house. These launchers are dope. You cannot. You put them in, put them on as backpacks and carry them around instead of having to lug them on your hand. Very nice. Highly, highly impressed. Good job, Tommy Bahama. So the water is getting mighty close to us, so I think that means that we're getting kicked out. It's 2:30 right now and I think we might head over to Moku for Some happy hours. Because you know your boy, it's all about them deals. So gotta pack up all of our knickknacks, put away the umbrella, the chair and head out and let Chandler splash for a little bit in the water. So, all right, peace. Time to pack up. See, they know what's up. Both of them have those chairs. They're the good ones. We're not going to Hawaii Inn, but that's another spot that we need to check out. But we're going over here. Oh, over there to Moku. Because apparently they have a good happy hour and a good cheesecake. I'm not a big cheesecake fan, but this cake looks extra delicious. So I might have to get it and see how delicious it is, so stay tuned. So you come inside and you place your order at the bar. Pork pizza is very good. And then the tangerine beer and the lilikoi beer are good too. So so far so good. All right, so we have the two drinks from the Moku Liberations menu, which is 2 bucks off during happy hour. Donoko Oi, which is ocean vodka, lilikoi, egg white and some other stuff. And then the new style, which is rye whiskey, orange shrub and bitter. So we'll see how it is. Truffle oil fries. That's with aioli sauce. Oh, garlic truffle. My bad. So good size. All right, time to drink our drinks. Cheers. Very orangey and rye whiskey. Not bad. Pretty basil Y says Chandler. Look. Look at this thick boy. It looks real good. Just got done eating at Moku Kitchen. Kitchen.
It was very good.
It's very good.
I heard one of the waitresses saying that moku means health and immunity. So hopefully we got that going for the rest of our lives.
Yep. The food happy hour is between 2 to 5. 30 peaks is 10 bucks alcohol. It's like 2 bucks off some of, not all of it. The draft beers and some other stuff.
And the small plates were 50 off, which that's pretty good deal.
Fries. Fries. Fries were decent. We're basing them off Austin level fries, which are delicious. They're not bad. They're not bad.
We were also pretty full.
Yeah.
When we started eating them.
And then pizza was good. Pizza was good.
It was really good.
Yeah. Drinks. Drinks were good. So overall good.
I would go back.
Yeah. During happy hour. During. It was. It was very pricey. It was very pricey. Even with happy hour. But not bad. If you just want to go for a cocktail, it wasn't. Yeah. So, yeah. Full bellies and time to go home and hang out. Yeah. Yep. Peace. Bye. Just made it back. So.
We did it.
We did it. Now we have to do an e learning class for scuba diving. So that's about all we have for tonight. So, like, and subscribe, stay tuned because we might be dropping some fire under the ocean. Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?
We'll see.
We'll see. If if not. My bad. But stay tuned. Peace. Oh, peace. It.
