Good morning.
Good morning.
It's a little rainy. That's okay. We're gonna go do our scuba diving stuff today. Hopefully we'll see when we get there. But yeah, it's across the island so we got a little place to go.
Here we go.
Kind of late, but let's go.
Sam.
It'S 8 o' clock on the dot.
Made it. We did it.
See how it goes.
It's because we have a portion. We can go fast.
Yeah, that's why a lot of information. Just knows her stuff. So Jennifer put on our wetsuits and then head over to the pool to do the first part of the training. So yeah, took apart that thing a bunch of times and then put it back together. So not bad. Got our suits on. It was an ordeal getting them on, but they're on.
I put it on backwards at first.
Yeah, I guess the zipper goes on the back end. So don't, don't, don't. Don't put it on wrong.
Don't do it as I do.
Yeah, or I did because I put it on wrong. But all right, finish off like that. You never want to leave tank standing up. Unless you're watching that pre recommended Moena Cafe. She drives all the way from Aiea to come down here. So gonna go in there, check it out, see what's poppin. This is the matcha magnet latte. Pretty local moco banana pancake thing. Shout out to Tyler at Moena Cafe. If you go tell them Chandler and Louise sent you and you will receive a free receipt with the purchase of your food.
It was really good food. It's worth the free receipt for sure. Yep.
That pancake banana thing, it was a banana.
It had. It's a pancake with banana slices in it. And then it had toasted coconut on top with like some kind of glaze.
Delicious. That was delicious. The beef or pork or whatever was on that loco moco was tender and delicious. And then your, your rice and eggs and bacon.
I. Yeah, I wanted something simple but it was all really good.
Yep, definitely recommend if you're South Bay area Moena Cafe. Check them out. Now we're gonna go hike a lighthouse. So let's go all. It's not too bad.
It's just sunny. It's just.
Yeah, no shade. Sun is beating down on us but not too bad of a hike. Straight uphill the whole way though. So yeah, self paved. Thanks OB Sam Sa great views. Did the hike now to head back down.
I think that might have been my favorite view of the water so far. It was so many different shades of blue.
Lighthouse trail.
Yeah. Nice. Yeah, the lighthouse trail. Check it out. Not too bad.
There's a little hidden secret beach. If you park over there and then take that little dirt road and keep going. There's a beach right over there. It's pretty tiny. It's not bad. That the little secret beach that the trail takes you right. Right over there. That is it. That's okay. Just finished the hike. Very long.
It wasn't that long. Oh, it's like maybe 20 to 30 minutes.
Yeah.
To the top.
A lot of incline, though. But I'll pay.
I didn't think it was that much incline. I think if you've climbed Coco Head, then every cocoa crater, then anything after that is easy peasy.
So do that one first. So everything else feels like a piece of cake on the sky. A scale of 1 to 10 of hardness, I would rate this one a croc accessible. You could wear your crocs.
Yeah, I wear my burks. I would give it like a 6 out of 10.
Flip flop, gang of hardness. Yeah, I'd give it like a four. Like you can take your kids.
Yeah, you're right.
You can take your kids. You can push them up the stroller, get them tired.
Yeah.
So not bad. But now to the beach.
Let's go.
All right. So we went to the beach. It was okay. The tides were really heavy, so I don't recommend.
Yeah, it was a strong rip current and the lifeguard was telling everybody to go to another beach and nobody did.
Nobody did. And now we're trying to find a bar that apparently is really good. But it's always packed. So we will see if we can finagle our way in there. Stay tuned. We're lost. Apparently this place is really hidden. We're just walking around in circles hoping to find something. Still don't know where we're going. Just walking around. Bar. Leather apron. Delicious. Very good selection of Japanese whiskey and hummus. Ginger. Oops, we can't get out far. Leather apron. Very delicious. Good food. Hummus, ginger. Get that.
The beet ginger hummus.
Oh, beet ginger hummus. Good Japanese selection. Very good whiskey selection. Overall, good. Now it's just a little hard to find. Yeah, a little hard to find up there. So now we head home for the day. Thank you for watching like and subscribe for more of our adventures. Going scuba diving tomorrow. Peace.
