Stunning Shrine in Fukuoka: Dazaifu Tenmangu

YouTube travel video (Luis Lan) documenting a morning in Fukuoka: visiting a fish market, finding Ichiran Ramen at ~7am via a vending-machine ordering process, then traveling to and exploring the Dazaifu Tenmangu (shrine/temple) area. The group encounters street food (moon-cake/mochi-style snack), repeatedly gets lost, and asks locals for directions while navigating stations and stair levels.

It's about 7am in the fish market. Some of the stores are starting to open up. Some of the food actually looks pretty good, but we weren't feeling any of that and we wanted ramen. So we tried to find a place that was open up at 7am that served ramen. Shouldn't be too hard. We ended up finding Ichiran Ramen, a big ramen chain all over Japan. If you don't have anywhere else to eat ramen, this is a good spot.
We're walking back. Hopefully we find some tea and explore. And explore. Do you want to hold my phone? Oh, wow. All the papers are opening now.
I'm sure everyone here is just fish.
We didn't want fish. So we're gonna walk. We're gonna go that way and the left. Onwards tomorrow, adventures. Show me a candy melon. Candy. Still walking. It's cold. It's okay though. Thank you. Random boy that helped us find the ramen place. That's just it.
Whoa.
This is tall.
His question was, what kind of food do you sell?
I heard. What kind of food? I don't know. A2F. Yeah, I think you go to the second floor. 2F. Well, that was convenient that this place was right here.
This is what I remember.
Oh, I guess you click that and then you pick five thing. I think. I'm not really sure. Oh, Lord.
Okay, well, if I'm going to pick five, what five things which I. I.
Think I messed up. I don't really know. All right. Yeah. All right, all right. English. English. It took the ramen already. They're already on there now. Now you're doing three ramen.
Two.
Yeah.
Confirming go.
Yeah.
And then toppings, extra garlic. You can do one.
Please confirm your spirit drink. Okay.
And now we got to put the money in. Whoa. Interesting. Oh. And then you push your button to order. Spread them out. Which one's the meat?
I don't know. That was delicious.
This one. You have to put the money in first. And then you start. Then you start pushing the buttons.
I like that one.
Yeah, that one.
That was my favorite meal so far.
My other favorite meal.
Cuz my tummy liked it.
Yeah. Very nice.
Very nice. Oishi. Good. Nice warm broth in this freezing wind.
They can't hear you in the wind.
In the sea. That's what I'm saying.
Okay. Are we ready?
Adios out.
After our bellies were full of ramen.
Mmm.
Ramen. We decided to head out and check out another temple. But it wouldn't be a trip to Japan without getting Lost again and needing to ask for help.
Where are we going? We are going to the this. Which line?
5. 5D. Starbucks.
Go here.
Okay.
Turn right.
Turn right.

That one goes up to 1F. We need 2F. Oh, boy. Yeah. Okay.
Huh?
Where? Oh, right here. X. I gotta go to the same house. What time is it now?

It'S okay. You're not the only one.
All these people make it look really easy.
The Red Hat Gang.
Getting to the Discip Mangu Temple wasn't too hard. We walked around for a while, which was kind of cool. But then we saw this guy making moon cake things. They looked pretty good, so we had to check them out.
When you hold one, it's hot.
Yeah, maybe let's eat it before we walk in there.
I think it's cooked.
Mochi.
It's good.
Good for a chilly day.

Once we hung out, we had to get back home. But you know, once again we got lost. So we needed some help.
No, on the ground right here. It's on the floor. Wait right here. I think this. This way. Because we needed take the day. All right.
