Well, hello there. Good. Almost afternoon.
It's 12:34.
12:34. Yep. And you're probably asking Luis, aren't you supposed to be scuba diving? Yes, I am supposed to be scuba diving, but it's a story that I'm going to tell you.
Mahalo.
Mahalo. Well, I got a phone call last night about eight from the instructor.
Yeah, it was kind of late.
Props to him for, for doing his due diligence. And he said, yo, you haven't finished your E learning class for scuba diving which you have to do before you do the water part of the scuba diving. And he said, hey, you need to finish this and you're probably not going to get it done before tomorrow morning. So we're going to have to push back your start day. So don't procrastinate on your scuba diving course because you won't finish it in time. Woke up at 5:30 to figure it all out. Side note, for some reason mine wasn't working so I had to call their IT department at 5 here which is like 8 over there in the mainland. So got that figured out, started the class, took six hours to do all of it. So got my done, she got hers done. We're all good to go. Hopefully we go scuba diving tomorrow. Stay tuned. But today, today we're feeling that hike. So shout out Dr. Matt in Austin. If you're in Austin or surrounding area.
LifeSpring Cairo.
He is, but he referred us to his friend that's a chiropractor in Hawaii.
In Oahu.
Oahu. And voted 2020 best chiropractor. So. Yep, yep. I didn't know that. So she's on top of her game.
I have something to add.
Yep, yep.
About our scuba diving. He called us late and we were pretty frustrated. But I think it says a lot that he took time out of his night to look out for our safety because the course, like some of it is common sense but a lot of it is stuff that like I never would have even thought about. And he said like it can take five to six hours to do and the content is pretty important for your safety. So he really was looking out for us. So I think that says a lot about this company that they care for your safety more than they care about the money they're getting.
Yep.
They'd rather have you be safe and enjoy your dive.
And shout out to Quizlet and link that I'll post down below for helping us with the exams. You know, you know I'm talking about that Quizlet, you know, you know so right now, no diving today. We're going to get some bread. It's not an ordinary bread. It's some good bread. You'll see. Going to get some bread and we're going to go get cracked.
So best crack in Oahu.
Let's go. Okay, so this food truck, I guess it's a bread truck, parks in a different spot every day. And the way you find it is by following them on Instagram and they let you know they're gonna be. So today they're supposed to be on this road somewhere. Not really sure. It's gray and it looks like a food truck. So I guess we just gotta drive around until we find it. Hopefully maybe we'll see. Oh, we parked the car. We are waiting. It's supposed to be on this street. I'm pretty sure that guy's waiting for some bread. And those two dudes are waiting for some bread. I just asked them. They said they're waiting. They don't. We don't exactly know where they're. Where the bread truck's gonna be. So we're just kind of posted up everywhere, waiting, waiting for it to come.
So.
Just gonna wait and see a bunch of people just out of a sudden, just popping out of their cars, ready the bread. Dang. There's like a line of people behind me, just a mob. Gonna go get some hot bread. Just. That's crazy. A bunch of people gonna have to go get some. Get some bread. I told. Told you this bread good. Did some good bread.
I would say UBE cheesecake and strawberries and cream.
UBE cheesecake. Strawberries and cream. All right, all right. I said. I said four.
Four.
Four is my math.
Yeah.
No, no, four is a good start because you have four breads. You can try everything.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, it's like four. I was like, four. Four is good.
Usually since it's Covid. They do custom before, so you can put all kinds of different in one. Just one bread. But now since it's covered, they all do it pre fillings.
Oh, okay. And just like here you go.
So, yeah, you just beat it up on the menu. They all. It's all pre filled already.
Oh, dang. It's not bad though.
No, but it's still good. It's like two flavors per. Per thing per bread. So like strawberries and cream and then the. The ube is UBE and cheesecake and cream. All right, you guys just missed one of my favorite ones. Oreo.
I saw that, man. I was like, dang. I was like, that looks Delicious.
The best one ever.
No. Oh, okay.
Number one.
So number one. All right.
Cookies and cream is ube cheesecake.
They ain't even opened. There's already a line out. You know this place popping all the locals here. We secured the cargo, we got the bread. We got. We got a lot of bread. We got guava, blueberry, strawberry, and ube. So we'll see how it is. Report back to you.
Pretty heavy.
Yep. Some. Some thick old boys. So we'll see if it lives up to the hype. There was a long line, so I expected to be tasty. So we'll see. The lady that we met waiting for the hot bread, she said there was a little market over here with food.
Sam.
Went to that little market. Shout out, Amy. Amy. She told us there's a little market right next to the Molokai. Hot bread. Food truck went there. Pretty quaint. Some good fruit, got some weird looking.
Apples, some Hawaiian apples, a couple papaya, some pickled mango and some pineapple.
Yep. Two for five on the pineapple and the mango. And. Yep. So good haul. Now to the chiropractor. Made it. Island family chiropractic. Well, make us feel better. Yes. My body is ready. Is your body ready?
Oh, my gosh. So ready.
So how do you feel?
I feel very relaxed. I want to take a nap.
She got all the spots.
Yeah. She's considerate and she's clearly very smart.
She knows her stuff. She knows her stuff.
Now his turn.
My turn.
You know, most people, when they go on vacation, they get a nice fancy massage by the beach with the palm trees and the wind blowing with these white drapes. We got a chiropractor adjustment at island family chiropractic.
Shout out, Dr. Carey, if you're coming to the island. I suggest hit her up, try and get it adjusted. But she's a busy lady. She's like packed schedules packed. So call her sooner rather than later and see if you can.
You had a long flight and your hips are sore, your neck is sore.
You'Re gonna be tight.
Yeah. She knew exactly what to do. And I feel like I just had like a three hour massage.
She played us like a little fiddle. Oh, that's a flute. Okay. She played us like a flute and a fiddle at the same time with both hands. But now we're going to the beach.
And getting some coffee.
And getting some coffee.
So let's do it.
Let's go. What, at a Costco again? Yes. To get a towel and a chair. Yes. We've been to all three Costco's on the island. Why? Because Costco is king.
Sa Sam Sa.
Time to eat some Molokai bread. What do we have first?
This here is the ube.
Oh, let's. Let's. Let's give the Ube a shot.
UBE cheesecake, I believe. I don't know how we eat this.
You just tear it apart like an animal.
Take it all out or.
Dang.
That thing is a honker, dude. Oh, my goodness.
I don't think I ripped it right.
You just. You just gotta go for it. Oh, God. I achieve it. It won't stop. Oh, goodness. Oh. Oh. Okay. Oh. Okay.
Cheers.
Cheers. Dang. I got a big piece.
Mmm.
It tastes.
It's like frosting, but a little bit.
Savory, I would say. It's frosting. Definitely tastes like frosting.
UBE is sweet potato, condensed milk, sugar, I believe.
It's not bad. Some bread with a great view. And my baby dash me.
Yeah, it's pretty good.
It's literally getting all over my hands. It's like this. This will get you fooled.
No.
Oh, gosh.
Oh, babe. Something's gonna happen.
Oh, it happened.
Dang it.
Our umbrella flipped over. It's okay.
Still doing a show.
I can flip it back. We have some technical difficulties. I'm ready to try the guava. I think I might have gotten a little too much of this one.
You don't want it all.
I'll give you a bite of mine. It's not bad. I mean, we don't have this in Texas for sure.
No.
It's a little too sweet for my liking, though.
I don't. I like it.
You like it?
Okay.
It's not bad.
For some reason, I feel like some peanut butter would be really good with it.
I think they do have a peanut butter. Like some sort of peanut butter one.
Are you ready?
This is the guava.
Do I have a cheesecake? That didn't look like I got very much on that one. Oh, no. It's falling.
Help.
Help.
What do you want me to do? I don't know.
It's falling. Put it away. This one feels like it's packed really thick.
Oh, there's a G on the bag. Which thanks for. Gangster Molokai bread or guava?
This one's really good.
It's very sweet.
I want to see a Lilikoi one.
Molokai hybrid. If you're listening, drop a little koi.
One and you do a very good chop.
It's not bad. Out of the two, which one do you prefer? I don't know. Maybe this one. I think Kali guava one better.
It's just a little fruitier.
Yep, fruitier. So if you're in Hawaii and you know about the Molokai food truck, well, you should know it by now since we showed you, not the locals showed you about this spot. We blessed you with the knowledge of how to get yourself some thick old bread with some deliciousness smothered in it. But yeah, just gonna hang out, eat some more bread, watch the sunset.
So.
Thanks for watching. Watching until the next time. We didn't go scuba diving today. I guess stick around and see if we end up going tomorrow.
We better.
We better. I hope so. So, like, subscribe comment where you where you want us to go in Hawaii while we're still here. And we might check it out if it's popping. But until next time, peace.
