You not only helped me figure out who I am, also helped me land the right role because I feel really good about this role that I accepted. Um, and, and it didn't stop there. The coaching program, the whole program is not just about you getting a new job. It's about getting you the right job. And also elevating your product management, elevating your leadership skills. This role that I chose may not be in the domain that I wanted to be in, but every single person I met during the interview process, I felt like I knew them for a long time and we connected right away. Um, that's why I chose this and I'm excited to When you first joined the program, is it different than you expected? I had never joined a coaching program before, and I had just left a very toxic environment. Um, but what I knew, I wanted to become a better leader, not just product manager, better leader. And I wanted to better manage my emotions at work because I tend to be very outspoken and sometimes impulsive. Um, and I knew if I worked on these, uh, aspects of my career, of who I am, I was going to be a better leader and better product manager and happier at work. That was my expectations going into the coaching program. I never expected a program that was very well-rounded. The coaching program, like, really helped me figure out who I am, helped me find a role that I know I'm going to be happy with. I'm not going to accept just any offer. I declined offers before, and that wasn't who I was before, um, because I knew myself, like I wasn't aligned with that role and with that company, with the leadership of that company. So you not only helped me figure out who I am, also helped me land the right role. I feel really good about this role that I accepted. Um, and, and it didn't stop there. The coaching program, the whole program is not just about you getting a new job. It's about getting you the right job and also elevating your product management, elevating your leadership skills. Um, so that really gives you a lot of tools. To be successful in that role. It's just not about landing the role. It's about what's, what happens next, how you continue to grow and go one step further and one step further.
Tell folks a little bit about group coaching.
It is very eye-opening to hear other people's stories and what they have gone through what they are really looking for in their next roles, the mistakes that they have made and learning from their mistakes. And as well as having a community that they are all, they want you to succeed and they are there to help you. Sometimes you're stuck in your ways, the way you think, and They come in and provide a whole different perspective and there's like a light bulb moment. So it is a powerful, powerful way of becoming a better product manager, better leader, because it's like one-on-one coaching times 10. I'm very grateful. I'm very grateful that, that I'm with this program, like with you, you can't, value. You can't put any value on this coaching program.
What, what should they think about before joining this program?
Here's the thing: transformation doesn't happen overnight. Transformation is not easy. They need to be committed to go through the coaching program and make the most out of it. They need to go ahead and do the modules the best they could. They need to go ahead and connect people within the community. They need to ask questions to you to other people. Um, they need to know this is not a foo-foo coaching program. If they feel ready to transform themselves, not only as product managers, but also human beings, because all the modules really helped you in your daily lives as well, of all the materials you learn. So are you ready to do the work that is required? Are you ready to be transformed? Are you ready to do the hard work and go like dig deep into your, your stories, your life and your career, and use that as a fuel to be the leader you want to be? If yes, then 100% you should invest your time, your money to this coaching program. I am really proud of where I am. I still have a long way to go, but we always do. You never stop growing. So that's, Right. It's a journey. Um, I had multiple offers and it's been a tough market, very tough market. I had never experienced a job search, uh, as this hard, really.
