This is a YouTube video titled "J&A Homes Leverages Cahoot to Launch an Omni-Channel Strategy to Grow and Diversify the Business" featuring a single speaker from JNA Homes discussing their experience using Cahoot's FBM services to expand their product distribution on Amazon and other sales channels. The speaker explains the benefits of FBM over FBA, including flexibility, inventory control, and efficient returns management, highlighting the seamless integration and customer support provided by Cahoot. The content is a detailed testimonial or case study about e-commerce fulfillment strategies.
Yeah, JNA Homes is actually a company started between me and two other family friends and we, we have been interested in launching a design based wedding gift and toys brand and started looking to Etsy. But then we noticed that Amazon has the most traffic. So we started developing three or four stationary products on Amazon about six years ago. And one thing led to another, the products grew and we have more cash flow to expand the catalog. When we signed up about a year ago, the most urgent need was for a specific product that is oversized in a case pack of multi pack. And the urgency came because the market has changed where we noticed the individual unit or selling in very high volume. And those case packs were intended for FBA services. But we quickly want to leverage the customer demand. And the reason why we chose FBM by Kahoot is because the experience of onboarding seems pretty quick. We need to get on the demand curve and the fact is we need, we needed the inventory to be live and ready to be fulfilled within, you know, 45 days. I don't, I don't recall correctly. 30 to 45 days to relabel, open and distribute and fulfill. Ready to fulfill. And Kahoot was able to do so. Yeah, yeah. So based on, based on the data reviews I've heard one of the many things that we were looking for is because we didn't have any prior FBM experience and FBA as you already know have a very high strict on time fulfillment rate, it was 90 to 95%. And so we are looking for the expert in the field of fbm. So the fact is Kahoot has a very high fulfillment on time rate of 95% plus is very easy for us to manage. And also this is very new to us that FBM orders seems to have occasional canceled orders or you know, tracking number missing or things like that. The fact is Kahoot integrates with Amazon seller potential very seamlessly. So all these updates and push and pull of the orders through API makes FDM side of things off of the business very smooth for us. Yes. And they were doing it very quickly and rather seamlessly. And we have the account manager who can answer any questions. We got a few calls back and forth on certain critical logistical issues and they're responsive and the customer support through just Kahoot user dashboard you can create a case and they usually notify you the case is received immediately and then they give you a response. Usually by the end of the business they. So we had a pretty good experience with that. Yeah. So if you're looking for a FBM provider, that means that you're looking for flexibility or looking for things that the current FBA services cannot provide. FBA is amazing, but FBM also provides you a lot of paper control over your inventory and your sales channel. Outside of Amazon, you can fulfill Etsy orders of Shopify orders. And the fact is Kahoot has a very wide distribution network. So the fact is, if we can distribute our inventory close enough to their the Metro hubs, Kahoot can achieve a comparable or very competitive shipping speed as fdm. As a very top contending FBM vendors provider. And the other thing I have used Kahoot is because our products have occasional returns and Kahoot manages our returns quite seamlessly as well. And they inspect the products and they put it into inventory and they let us know when it's ready to be filled again. So I do like that part of the. And for other sellers who are considering fdm, one of the many reasons that we consider FDM is oftentimes FDM has a lower return rate than FDA because FDA makes returns very easy. So the fact is you can do that and has the benefit of lower return rate. It's something for you to consider.
