Hi. In this video we'll explore Walmart's two day and three day delivery programs. We'll cover eligibility criteria for sellers as well as how to maintain program eligibility. Lastly, we'll look at different options to fulfill orders in these programs. Let's get started. Free and fast shipping is central to the ecommerce customer experience today. In Walmart's estimates, three day delivery listings see conversion lifts as high as 30% and win the buy box more often. For listing with two day delivery, conversion lifts go up to 50%. These listings are more discoverable and distinguishable on Walmart's marketplace. Walmart has made the programs very flexible. You can carve out a specific region of the country where you offer two day and three day delivery. If you have the infrastructure in place, you can offer nationwide fast shipping as well. You can do regional or nationwide fast shipping for any or all of the items in your catalog. Qualifying for Walmart three day is very simple. Just set up a shipping template with a 3 day transit time. On the other hand, Walmart does not automatically approve you for two day delivery. The first option for two day delivery is to use Walmart's own logistics network, Walmart Fulfillment Services. The second is to work with one of Walmart's partners. The third is to do it yourself either with your warehouses or the help of a third party logistics provider. If you work with WFS or one of Walmart's partners, you're automatically approved for two day delivery. If you're shipping on your own, you must meet certain criteria. You must have been selling on Walmart for 90 days or self fulfilled at least 100 orders. You must have good historical fulfillment standards with high on time shipping and low cancellation rates. Walmart has metrics you must meet on these programs. These require your in House Logistics or 3 PL to have certain capabilities to deliver orders on time. You need a nationwide network of warehouses operating with late cutoffs to provide valid tracking information. Your shipping software must have a two way integration with Walmart customers. Ask for refunds when they receive the wrong item, products are damaged or deliveries take too long. Scan verification technology and rigorous SLAs can prevent this. Avoid seller initiated cancellations due to stock outs or warehouse issues with exception management capabilities. So what are the pros and cons of using wfs? They offer a nationwide network of warehouses and competitive pricing for small light SKUs. However, they can be expensive for big and bulky items and have high peak season storage fees. It also ties down your inventory as it can only be used to fulfill Walmart orders How about if you do it on your own? This gives you autonomy over logistics and the freedom to use your inventory across all sales channels. However, it is extremely capital intensive to set up and complex to manage with seasonality. You may not derive high utilization from these assets either. Want the best of both worlds?
