At Rewind, the team lets failures happen instead of rushing to fix them, watching how systems break under pressure to find hidden weaknesses. Constantly patching individual problems stops you from scaling. Fix the system instead, so the same issue never happens again.

I have often watched Rewind break and make mistakes on purpose. Like, you know, again, I can go in, I can fix things, but sometimes I run tests where I just let stuff go and see what happens. I let a customer issue go through the process and see how do we handle that. I might notice that something, you know, something's broken somewhere and I just let it go and I say, okay, like, let's see how does everybody react to that actually happening? You can't always step in to fix everything because that's really not how you're going to scale the business itself. Yeah, sometimes you have to let it go and, and watch and see what happens and then think, okay, so that's what's going to happen if I do that. How do I make sure that that's not what's going to happen? I can't fix the one— I don't ever want to fix one issue. I want to fix the system around it. I want to fix the processes around it so that, so that everybody makes sure that that doesn't happen again, not just me.
