Mark MacLeod separates two founder mindsets: limitless means recognizing your constraints are temporary and imagined, while fearless means actually confronting the fear that stops you and pushing through it. Both matter because founders constantly expand what they can do.

A friend just asked me about the difference between being limitless and being fearless. Here's my take. Being limitless is about just continually going through limits. You have a limit, you're at level 1, and you just kind of keep going and you grow and you get to level 2 and you just keep going and you realize your limits are temporary. They're imagined, and if they are real, they're only real for a moment. Being fearless is how you get there. You have a fear because there's a limit. You don't know if you can break through it, but you try. And in the process of trying, you overcome that fear and then break through to a whole new level. Both of these states sound super interesting and relevant for founders.
