As the CEO, I need to earn my stripes with every phase, new phase of growth. By earn my stripes, I mean, like, I've got to actually, like, prove that I can do it. And I need to almost learn faster than the organization in these moments. And sometimes I did, sometimes I didn't. I was usually out in front, but not always right. Or you learn from the team. You don't have the initial skills that it's going to take to do all the challenges that are in front of you as a startup, as you scale. So you really do have to seek those skills out. You've got to learn. You have to challenge yourself, or else the company's going to grow faster than you, and you're going to be kind of left in the dust. Or you'll become the bottleneck of your organization, and you'll be really holding the organization back.
