A short excerpt from a YouTube interview between host Mark MacLeod and guest Katherine Regnier (CEO, Coconut Software). The conversation is informal and appears to focus on scheduling, workload, and likely broader topics about business growth and scaling challenges (startup→scale-up).
Telly. Here's an issue. I'm going to go deep dive and you actually have the space in your calendar to do it. You know, what does it look like?
It's probably more, more.
On the busy side.
The busy side. Although that coaching advice that you had just said I have received and that's also what I adore about being a CEO is I adore that what I had to do on day one and what I'm doing today and what I hopefully I'm going to do in two years is completely different. And it's hard to transition. Like what is it? 0.001% of CEOs can be from founders. I call it the hero to the 100 million. That's a little bit of a personal challenge for me. Like can I grow, can I maneuver or will I be like, oh, I'm really good at startups but not great at scale ups and I really want to work on that.
