Mark Moss lost money chasing passive income and now argues that owning assets, not cash flow, builds real wealth. He holds Bitcoin for price appreciation rather than yield, seeing it as a cheat code for wealth building that's more accessible than traditional stocks.
My mentor, Robert Kiyosaki, talks about building passive income. There's no such thing as passive income. I got burned really bad, lost a lot of money trying to chase that route. I believe we should retire off our assets. So it's not about passive income, build up the assets, and Bitcoin allows us to do that. But most people don't understand, how can I turn Bitcoin into income? Because it doesn't produce anything. I don't want to give it to a platform and earn yield. That's too risky. And they think that, well, I guess it, you know, I buy low, I sell high. And I think, I think that's why it strikes a nerve.
I think it also strikes a nerve because there's something about Bitcoin that still feels accessible to the everyday person as As opposed to having to become a stock trader, pick stocks, get to know all these different companies. And it has these asymmetric returns and nothing else really offers that. And I think that that provides hope for a lot of people. Would you agree?
Yeah, as it should. I call Bitcoin the cheat code.
