Should I invest in the S&P 500 or should I buy a Ferrari? Or why not both? When I think about my balance sheet, I think about the equity that I have and the assets that I own. Now, my goal is to always grow the balance sheet, so I don't want to sell my stocks to buy the Ferrari. But what if I could get my cake and I eat it too? So what if I have the Bitcoin, I have the stocks, but I'm able to tap into some of that liquidity and move it into another asset? I pull the liquidity out to put it into the rare sports car that I can drive on a Saturday morning and enjoy, and I have that asset growing up at the same time. So I like to think of the assets on my balance sheet as liquid, able to be moved around. It's not an either/or, it's both.
