Well, hello, my dear listeners, and welcome back to another episode of Living in Your Power. I'm your host, Dr. Marleen Greenleaf, and today's episode is one that I hold close to my heart. It's about the journeys we embark upon, the courage it takes to chase our dreams, and the profound lessons we learn along the way. our dreams, and the unyielding fate that guides us through. Today, I want to dive into what I call the Boldface Fate Walk: Embracing Ageless Ambitions. Today, I found myself reflecting on a journey, my journey, which recently culminated in achieving a significant milestone, and that was completing my graduation walk in San Diego on Sunday, January 28th, for my Doctorate in Business Administration through National University. Now, while the accolades and the title are profoundly gratifying, what truly moved me was the outpouring of support Love and encouragement from everyone in my circle, including you. Your belief in my endeavors has been a constant source of strength, and for that, I am eternally grateful. But this episode isn't just about my journey. It's about all of our journeys. It's about those moments when the path ahead seems daunting, Yet something within us whispers, step forward. That whisper, my friends, is what I called a boldface fate walk. Now, at 61— that's my age, yes— now society might have you believe that certain dreams are behind you. I stand in bold I am a defiant defiance of that notion. Age, my dear listeners, is but a number. It neither defines your capabilities nor confines your potential. Today, I want to delve into what it means to me to embrace ageless ambition, to dream beyond the conventional, and to stride into the unknown with unwavering faith. So first, let's talk about redefining ambition. Ambition is not the loud, boisterous voice in a crowded room. It is instead the quiet, resolute whisper in the heart that says, keep going. It's the decision to pursue a doctorate, for me, in my 60s. To start a business, to write a book, or to simply learn something new. Ambition is the courage to declare, my time is now, regardless of the hour on our life's clock. Now, embarking on these journeys requires what I call a bold-faced faith. It's the kind of faith that doesn't shy away from challenges, Or cower at the sight of obstacles. Bold-faced faith is the audacity to say, yes, I can, even when a chorus of naysayers chant, no, you can't. It is the faith that guides you when the roadmap is unclear, the faith that builds bridges when there are none. But how, you might wonder, do we nurture this bold-faced faith? It starts with envisioning your goal, no matter how audacious it may seem. Visualize it, write it down, speak it into existence. Then take that crucial first step. Remember, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. And as you walk this path, arm yourself with resilience because there will be setbacks and detours. But if you view each as a lesson, not as a defeat, it will make you stronger. Also surround yourself with a tribe that uplifts you. That believes in the beauty of your dreams. And most importantly, believe in yourself with a fierce conviction. So to each and every one of you listening, understand that your dreams are valid, your inspirations are achievable, and your age is an asset, not a limitation. So dream big, step out in faith, and embrace your bold faith— faith walk as I do. The world is waiting for what you alone can offer. So as we wrap up today's episode, I want to leave you with this thought. Your journey, your pace, your story. Own it, cherish it, live it. And remember, in your quest to live authentically in your power, know that I am with you. God's got you, and so do I. So I want to thank you once again for tuning in. For sharing thoughts, for sharing your light, and for walking this journey with me. Until next time, continue to live in your power.
