Well, hello, my valued listeners, and welcome back to another episode of Living in Your Power. I'm your host, Marleen Greenleaf, and today we are continuing our journey from our last discussion on what is your I Am. Now, if you haven't had a chance to listen to that episode yet, I highly encourage you to check it out because today we are building on that foundation. So in our last episode, we focused on defining and understanding your I Am, understanding who you are at your core beyond titles, roles, or expectations. So today I want to take it a step further and talk about how knowing your I Am can truly empower you to live a life of purpose, authenticity, and confidence. So let's explore the incredible power that comes with understanding yourself at the core. Knowing who you are changes everything. When you know your I Am, you no longer have to seek validation from others. You no longer need to mold yourself to fit someone else's expectations. Instead, you become anchored in your truth. So think about a tree, for example. A tree with deep roots can withstand the strongest storms. It may sway and it may lose some branches, but those deep roots keep it standing. Your I Am is like those deep roots. When you know who you are, when you affirm your core qualities, you become anchored in your own truth. Life's challenges, setbacks, and other people's opinions may try to shake you, but you'll stand firm because you are deeply rooted in yourself. I want you to ask yourself, what anchors you? What are the core values or qualities that keep you standing when the winds of life blow against you? When you understand these aspects of yourself, you gain resilience. You empower yourself by knowing that who you are is enough, always. One of the most powerful practices you can adopt is affirming your I Am every day. Self-affirmation is not just a feel-good exercise. It's a declaration of your truth. It's a way of programming your mind to recognize and celebrate your worth. When you start your day by affirming, I am capable, or I am worthy of love and success, you are planting seeds that grow into a confident mindset. It's easy to be swayed by negative thoughts, or self-doubt, especially when things don't go as planned. But by consistently affirming your truth, you reinforce those deep roots that hold you steady. Let's do this together right now. I want you to close your eyes if you're able. If you're driving, of course, no, don't, don't close your eyes. I want you to take a deep breath in. And as you exhale, say to yourself, I am enough. I am worthy. I am powerful. Feel the truth of these words resonating within you. The more you repeat these affirmations, the more they become your reality. I am enough. I am worthy. I am powerful. Write your I am statements somewhere where you'll see them daily. It could be on your mirror, on a sticky note at your desk, or as a note on your phone. And each time you see them, say them out loud. Affirmations are a daily reminder of who you are, and they empower you to show up confidently in every situation. Empowerment also means making choices that align with who you are. Once you know your I Am, again, the choices you make in your life will become clearer. Whether it's choosing a career path, setting boundaries, or deciding how to spend your time, knowing who you are allows you to make decisions that honor your truth. When you understand your I Am, you can say yes to opportunities that align with your values and no to things that do not serve you. You no longer have to settle for less because you recognize your worth and refuse to compromise on your values. This is one of the most powerful outcomes of knowing your core identity. You start living a life that is aligned, meaningful, and full of purpose. Take a moment to think about a decision you've made recently. Did that decision align with your core values? values and your I Am? If not, what would it look like if you approach that choice again with your true self in mind? This kind of reflection helps you make more empowered choices in the future. Living in your power means showing up authentically every day. It means not shrinking to make others comfortable, not playing small because you're afraid of what others might think. When you know your I Am, you start to live with more confidence, more joy, and more freedom. You start to express yourself without fear because you know that you are— that who— I'm sorry, because you know that who you are is worthy. I'm going to read that again. You start— when you start to express yourself without fear Because you know that who you are is worthy. And this isn't just about big, life-changing moments. Living in your power is also about the small moments. Standing up for yourself in a meeting, being honest about your feelings, or simply allowing yourself to rest when you need it. These Small, consistent acts of authenticity are what creates a powerful, aligned life. So for the next week, I challenge you to continue to live in your I Am each and every day. Choose one I Am statement each morning and commit to showing up as that version of yourself all day. So if you choose, I am confident, notice how you carry yourself in conversations. And if you choose, I am compassionate, I want you to notice how you treat yourself and others. And at the end of the day, reflect on how this empowered you. You may be surprised at just how much this simple practice can shift your experience. So as we wrap up today's episode, I want you to remember this: knowing who you are is the most powerful tool you have. When you know your I Am, you stand in your truth, and you live authentically without fear of judgment or rejection. You become empowered to make choices that honor your worth, And you begin to live a life aligned with your deepest values. I encourage you, dear listeners, to take the time to explore your I Am and use it as a guide to empower yourself every day. You are enough just as you are, and your journey begins by embracing that truth. I want to thank you for joining me today on Living in Your Power. Until next time, keep embracing who you are, keep affirming your truth, and keep living in your power. This is Marleen Greenleaf signing off, and remember, your power starts with your I Am. Let it guide you, let it empower you, and let it shine through everything you do. Continue to live in your power.
