Well, hello, my valued listeners, and welcome back to a brand new month of Living in Your Power. I'm your host, Dr. Marleen Greenleaf, and today we're stepping into a new series that I am so excited about. For the month of July, our theme is Freedom to Flourish: Breaking Free Showing Up and Blooming Boldly. This month is about releasing old fears, outdated mindsets, and everything else that's been keeping you small. It's about giving yourself permission to expand, to rise, and to live boldly in the purpose God has placed inside of you. So now our first episode It's entitled Freedom to Flourish: Releasing What Holds You Back. So let's breathe in that freedom together and begin. Deep breaths. Exhale. Yes. Now what does it mean to flourish? Now for me, flourishing isn't just about surviving or checking boxes. It's about Thriving, living with passion, purpose, and deep-rooted joy. It's about showing up as your whole self unapologetically. But before we can bloom, we need to clear the weeds— those limiting beliefs, painful memories, or patterns that choke our growth. So what's been holding you back lately? Hmm? Could it be the fear of failure or the fear of success? What about the fear of what people will say if you show up fully? Now recognizing it is the first step towards releasing it. So I'm going to share a little story. I call it my freedom story with you, because there was a season when I was afraid to step outside the roles others put me in, afraid to speak up, launch new projects, or even rest without guilt. Now that fear had roots in old stories. Stories like, you have to be perfect. Okay, don't rock the boat, or stay small so others can feel comfortable. But here's the truth: God did not create you to shrink. He created you to flourish. And when I started saying yes to the things that set my soul on fire, And no to the expectations that drained me, I experienced a freedom that changed everything. And you can too. So here are 3 practical ways to release what's holding you back. First, you have to name it. Journal or pray about what's been keeping you stuck and bring it into the light. Name it. Second, reframe it. Ask yourself, what is this fear trying to protect me from? Is it still true, or is it time to let go? Reframe it. And third, replace it. Choose a new belief to stand on, like, I am worthy of success, I can rise and not lose myself, or I am free to be fully me. I want to give you this empowerment quote that you can use. The prompt says, what one belief Habit, or fear are you ready to release this month so you can flourish? I want you to write it down, speak it aloud, and commit to taking one bold step forward this week. So I'm going to say that empowerment prompt to you again. What one belief, habit, or fear are you ready to release this month so you can flourish? Write it down, speak it aloud, and commit to taking one bold step forward this week. So in closing, I want to thank you for joining me this powerful start to our July series, and I want you to remember, freedom isn't something you earn. It's something you claim, and when you do, you open the door for joy, growth, and purpose to flow in. So next week we'll continue with, um, another episode entitled Showing Up Unapologetically and Living Your Truth Out Loud. So until then, my dear listeners, I want you to live boldly in your power today, and if it gets tough, just breathe. You still got the strength to rise. So until next time, continue to live in your power.
