Well, good morning, my good, good people, and happy Winsome Wednesday. Yes, it is going to be a winning, winning Wednesday today. Look, God woke us up. He's allowing us yet another day where we can stand on faith and stand on his promises and do what he asks— wants us to do. So here we are. Another day, another opportunity that God has given us on this Winsome Wednesday. Winsome Wednesday. Look, I know it happens to me. It probably happened to you too. You know you had this opportunity that you know for certain, certain without a doubt that you are shoeing. You're going that contract, that promotion, that new job that you applied for. You knew for certain you were shoeing for it. And you were waiting. You were actually preparing to go into that role because you knew that this is going to happen. But then you get the news. You get that letter, that generic letter saying thank you, but no thank you, he went with someone else. And— or you don't get that message at all, especially with contracts. You don't hear anything back from anyone. Or the promotion, you get called into the office, it's like, you know what, Thank you, but yeah, we're gonna go with this one instead. Maybe in the next quarter, you know, we'll consider you. And you go, what in the entire hell? No, this is me. This is my promotion. This is for me. But let me just tell you this. A lot of times when we get this news, we tend to think that there's something wrong with us. That the reason why we didn't get that promotion, that contract, that reassignment, whatever it is that we applied for, it has to do with us. It has to do with our skill set, our personality. But no, I want you to stop thinking like that. I want you to realize that everything happens for a good reason. There's a reason. There's a good reason. You can't see it then because you're disappointed, you're crying, you're upset. And be— go ahead, do it. Be upset, cry if you must, but do not sit there for very long, okay? I want you to get up, dust yourself off, and let's just start all over again. Let's pivot. Let's look at what you actually applied for, where you are right now. How can we move on from here? So don't blame yourself. Don't say it's me. Because 85% of the time, it's not you. It's not you. But if you think that this one little disappointment is going to destroy you, it will. It will take you down. So what are we going to do on this Winsome Wednesday if you get the news that— that unexpected news that you didn't think would come? You pick yourself up, dust yourself off. And we're gonna get started all over again because it's not us. It's not us. It's them. And God's got us. So Winsome Wednesday. We're gonna make this a Winsome Wednesday, my good people. Stay focused. Don't let bad news deter you. Don't let it. Don't let. You don't need to have a negative connotation for news. that you weren't expecting. Let's go ahead and pivot this and turn it around in your favor because your good news is coming. It's on the horizon on this Winsome Wednesday.
