Welcome back, dear listeners, to our sanctuary of empowerment and insight on living in your power. I'm your host, Marleen Greenleaf, and today we're weaving together the threads of self-worth and life balance to craft a tapestry of harmony and fulfillment. Now, Harvest in Harmony is more than a theme. It's a commitment to integrating the essence of who we are with the lives we lead every day. So let's embark on this journey together. At the heart of harmony lies our self-worth, the unwavering belief in our inherent values, independent of our achievements roles, or the perceptions of others. But how do we cultivate this foundation, especially in a world that often measures worth by external, external metrics? It begins within, by acknowledging and embracing our intrinsic value. So start each day by affirming your worth. Stand in front of the mirror and declare, I am valuable. I am worthy. I am enough. Not for what you do, but for who you are. These aren't just words. They're seeds of self-belief planted in the fertile ground of your soul. So when you stand in front of the mirror and you say them, say it with power. I am valuable. I am worthy. I am enough. Now reflect on the moments you felt diminished or undervalued. What external voices or internal doubts overshadowed your worth? Write them down, and then I want you to counter each with a truth about your inherent value. Now, this practice isn't about denying feelings of inadequacy, but it's more about affirming a deeper truth, which is your unconditional worth. With our foundation of self-worth solidified, so how do we maintain balance amidst the hustle of daily life? Because balance isn't about perfectly dividing our time, uh, or our energy. But it's more about aligning our actions with our core values and our worth. So here are some strategies I use to help me with balance. The value alignment. Regularly, regularly assess whether your daily activities reflect your core values. So if something feels misaligned, give yourself permission to adjust or to let go. Boundary setting. Boundaries are expressions of self-worth. They communicate that I value my time, energy, and well-being. So learn to say no with grace, preserving your energy for what truly Matters. Remember, no is a complete sentence. So again, learn to say no with grace, preserving your energy for what truly matters. Mindful engagement. I want you to practice being in the present. Practice presence, whether you're working, resting, or spending time with loved ones. Be fully in that moment. Because this presence is where balance finds its true expression— not in the juggling of tasks, but in the depth of engagement with each other. So integrating self-worth and balance is a daily practice. It's a commitment to honoring our values and living in alignment with our deepest truths. It's about making choices from how we start our day to how we engage with the world, and that reflects our work and supports our well-being. So here's a morning— here's a morning ritual. So if you begin each day with a ritual that centers you, such as meditation, maybe journaling, or walking nature, Whatever, whatever it is, let's set a morning ritual and let this time set the tone for a balanced day grounded in your worth. It could be your morning ritual is that you get up and you lay in the bed for 5 minutes just breathing, just saying thank you, just a prayer, meditation. It has to be something that you know that is going to help you, and it has to be a ritual that you do every single day. And then be reflective in the evening. So end each day with gratitude. Reflect on moments where you felt aligned, where your actions and interactions were infused with your core values and self-worth. So as we close today's episode, I want you to remember, harvesting harmony isn't a destination. It's a journey of continued growth, reflection, and adjustment.
