Welcome, welcome, welcome. Today I wanted to touch on your motivation versus discipline. Now motivation and discipline are two distinct concepts, although they. They are related to each other in achieving your personal or professional goals. Motivation refers to the drive or desire to accomplish something, and it comes from within an individual. It is the inner force that pushes a person to take action towards a particular goal. Motivation can be intrinsic, meaning it comes from within oneself, or extrinsic, extrinsic, meaning it is driven by external factors such as rewards, recognition, or social pressure. Now, discipline, on the other hand, is the practice of self-control and consistency in behavior or action regardless of one's motivation level. It involves the ability to stick to a plan, routine, or set of rules Even when it is not easy or enjoyable. Discipline requires commitment, focus, and perseverance to achieve a desired outcome. Now, in summary, motivation is the fuel that drives us to pursue our goals, while discipline is the engine that keeps us moving towards them regardless of our motivation level. Both motivation and discipline are important in achieving success, but discipline is often the key to maintaining long-term success and often the key factor that separates those who achieve their goals from those who do not. So where is your motivation level today? Is it high? Is it average? Is it a no-go? And if so, what do we need to do to motivate you to be more disciplined in the things that you're doing and in your goal setting? Because I know for me personally, I'm always motivated to work out, and I set my alarm at 5 AM in the morning. My alarm goes out I look at my clothing and I go back to bed. Why? I am not disciplined enough to get out of my bed to get my workout done, and it's not something that I've been doing consistently. Now, before, just a couple months ago, I was disciplined with my workout, but now my motivation level is low. And it hinders me in my disciplinary level to want to get up and work out. Mm-hmm. So I say this to not hinder you, but to encourage you, to let you know that even if your motivation level is high and you're still not getting to where you need to be, we need to work on our discipline. It's something that we have to work on on a daily basis. To drive us to be more consistent, to achieve our goals and our success. So let us strive to be more disciplined in not just our motivation level, but in setting our goals and for achieving them, whatever that is, be it internal or external. So let's work on that. So Live in power. And let's live in your power on purpose. Let's be more disciplined. Motivated, yes, but more disciplined.
