Hello, my valued listeners, and welcome to the final episode of Living in Your Power for 2025. Yes, I'm your host, Dr. Marleen Greenleaf, and what a journey this year has been. We've grown together through seasons of faith, stillness, healing, and courage, and now As we prepare to cross into a new year, I want to invite you to take one last deep breath with me. Our theme this month has been The Gift of Presence: Finding Joy, Faith, and Focus in the Season. And this final episode for 2025 is entitled Stepping into Your Next. Walking in Peace and Purpose. Because this isn't just about turning the calendar; it's about stepping into your calling with clarity and confidence. So let's begin. Before we rush into the next thing, let's pause and honor where we've been. I mean, think about it. You've survived almost 365 days of challenges, choices, and change. You've learned lessons that reshaped how you see yourself and the world around you. Even the moments that stretched you were part of your strengthening. Psalm 65:11 says, you crown the year with your goodness. And your paths drip with abundance. So even if this year didn't go exactly as planned, God's goodness still carried you. Every closed door redirected you. Every delay refined you. And through it all, your purpose never left you. It's just been growing stronger. So as we close out one year and prepare to enter into another, I want you to remember, peace isn't found in having all the answers. It's found in trusting the one who holds tomorrow. Transitions can feel uncertain. Yes, the in-between space between who you were and who you're becoming. But peace anchors you there. So before you make resolutions, I want you to make one decision. That is to carry peace into every new plan, every new partnership, and every new purpose God places in your path. Amen. Because when peace leads, purpose follows. I strongly believe that when peace leads, purpose follows. So again, here are 3 ways that you can step into your next. First and foremost, reflect before you rush. Take a moment this week to ask yourself, what am I proud of from this year? What am I ready to release? And what do I want to carry forward with intention? Next, reset with grace. You don't have to have it all figured out by January 1st, so give yourself permission to Enter the new year gently, one prayer, one breath, one goal at a time. And third, recommit to purpose. Your calling is not a resolution, my friend. It's a relationship. So stay connected to your why and let God continue to order your steps. Because when you— when your purpose is rooted in peace, it becomes sustainable, not stressful. So this week, I want you to grab your journal. Yes, yes, we're still journaling. I want you to grab your journal and write this down. What lessons did this year What did this year teach me about faith and resilience? Where did I see God's hand at work even in hard moments? And what word, scripture, or affirmation will guide me into the new year? I want you to then close your reflection by declaring this affirmation: I step into my next with peace in my heart Purpose in my steps and gratitude in my spirit. Now let that be your posture. Excuse me. Let that be your posture as you enter this new chapter. I'm going to repeat that again. So in your journal, I want you to write these down. What lessons did you this year teach me about faith and resilience? Where did I see God's hand at work, even in harsh moments? And what word, scripture, or affirmation will guide me into the new year? And then close your reflection by declaring this affirmation. I step into my next with peace in my heart, purpose in my steps, and gratitude in my spirit. So in closing this, my friends, as you step into your next, I want you to remember this: you don't need to carry everything from this year. Only the wisdom. You don't need to chase new beginnings, just walk in them with peace and faith leading the way. So I want to thank you, my dear listeners, for walking this journey with me week after week, month after month. Your presence, your feedback, and your faith means the world to me, and I can't wait to see what God does in your life in the new year. Because I believe this next season is going to be one of overflow, elevation, and grace. I want to thank you again for listening to me throughout this year on Living in Your Power. And until next time, and until next year, 2026, I want you to continue To live boldly in your power, and if it gets tough, just breathe. You still got the strength to rise. So happy New Year, my dear listeners, and I'll see you in 2026. Continue to live in your power, and just breathe.
