BIG XRP MOVE Coming? Ripple EU License! (QNT, HBAR, ALGO & More!)

In this 19‑minute solo market‑commentary video, Mason Versluis covers a range of crypto‑related news and his own trading outlook. He opens by promoting his paid Discord tier and affiliate links, then dives into a bullish Bitcoin price call, arguing that geopolitical unrest and dollar weakness will push BTC past $100K. He reviews current price action across major coins (BTC, ETH, XRP, QNT, HBAR, XLM, ICP) and highlights his live leveraged trade on CoinW. The core of the video focuses on Ripple’s newly approved European Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licence in Luxembourg, explaining its institutional scope, volume metrics, and restrictions on retail services, and discusses how this could affect XRP supply‑demand dynamics and the need for better marketing and product development. Versluis then shifts to Quant’s partnership with Japanese firm Dentsu Soken, detailing the reverse‑carry‑trade unwind in Japan, tokenized‑deposit and programmable‑settlement projects, and the scarcity of the QNT token. He announces Algorand’s refreshed US‑based board of directors, noting the high‑profile members. The video also touches on the slow‑moving US crypto‑market‑structure legislation, citing Senate timelines and the projected 8‑year rollout of new rules. Finally, he surveys global Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) pilots, argues for a post‑labor “freedom” future, and repeatedly urges viewers to join his Discord and affiliate program for additional income streams.

Ripple has just secured a new EU license. We're going to talk about what that means. We're going to talk about the new Algorand board of directors. We've got Quant landing a Japan partnership. We're going to talk Japan, uh, and the reverse carry trade and what I've been learning about that. We're going to check all of the charts. Bitcoin's going to $100K. I am very confident. I will explain why. Drop a like on the video. Let's get straight into it. Now quickly, before we begin, I wanted to let you guys know we did make a silver membership tier for the Discord. It is $10 a month versus the full membership, which is $25. You can get in the Discord We're— we have the new, um, live stream, members-only live stream coming soon in January, and we're very excited on some of the stuff we're building for the inner circle members. Um, but let's talk Bitcoin. BTC is at $95,000. Um, I did put my money where my mouth is. This is my trade on CoinW. It is active. It was $933. On 25x and we're up $300 right now. This is on CoinW. Sign up for CoinW, link is in the description if you want to trade. Um, they got XRP on there, they got everything. Bitcoin is going to $100K in my opinion, okay? The macro environment says that Bitcoin needs to catch up, okay? And when fighting is brewing and people are fighting for peace and there's raids going on, that all benefits Bitcoin every single time. Um, when there's unrest with the dollar, people love to put their money into Bitcoin. So I said on the 12th, I said, how is Bitcoin not above $100K? Um, and now we are going up and we're at like $96,000, uh, $95,000 here. Look at this arbitrage, $96,800 on CoinW. Um, and on CoinGecko— oh, it did, it is caught up, my bad. Um, okay, let's keep it moving. Here's the Bitcoin chart. We're absolutely mooning. I really am confident we will go above $100K. Um, ETH $3,300. We've got QNT just chilling. We've got a Japan partnership that we're going to talk about later on into the video. XRP is spiking a little bit here, still, you know, still bouncing off that $2 line right there. And then HBAR is still in that accumulation zone. XLM, nothing really to discuss with the charts there. We've got the biggest gainer today is ICP. Now I think ICP has great technology, but it's going to be a long road. To get that chart back up to where it once was. It looks like an absolute pump and dump, uh, even on the log scale it does not look good. But they do have great technology and a great community. Then we've got Pepe, Athena, Hyperliquid is still doing extremely well, Hedera, Stellar outliers right there. Um, okay, let's start with the Ripple license. So they have secured their preliminary electronic money institution license approval from Luxembourg's Commission des Surveillance du Secteur Financier. Okay, whatever the heck, uh, those words are, um, this is a pivotal step. Okay, so this lady goes on to explain, um, that, you know, they can get real-time settlement now, global on and off ramps and last mile payouts. Um, yeah, so you know, they got their UK or the EU license here. The momentum is global. They have now 75+ licenses and registrations worldwide. Like, no one's even on their level, bro. It's insane. $95 billion in volume processed to date, and they're reaching 90% of daily FX markets. Now this is huge, okay? This is huge, but this is a regular occurrence at this point. I am telling you, Ripple has secured all of the licenses across the world. They are like ahead of everyone, okay? CryptoAri points out that with this new UK EMI license, the company Ripple has some restrictions such as no payment services to the consumer. So right here it says they cannot issue electronic money or provide payment services to a consumer, microenterprise, or charity. Now this is obvious, right? And you know, Hash Theory comes in here and says, yeah, like, this is for institutions only. They cannot deal with retail with this license because this license is an institutional electronic money institution license. But you guys know the EU is massive for Ripple, and also the ETF is exploding. Okay, we are literally 1 hour in and we're at $18.68 million of volume. Grayscale is absolutely whooping everyone today. It looks like Franklin Templeton just bought more. Pretty cool to watch. $12.5 million, uh, dollars, and we're at 2.17. So this is good. These inflows are a great sign. Um, the volume is a great sign. So yeah, we had $8 million in the first 30 minutes. Absolutely massive. Okay, let's talk about this repricing thing. We talked about it yesterday, but This is really the, the distilled version. Yes, XRP could be repriced if the demand goes through the roof while the supply is being eaten up. We need both things to be happening, or, you know, they can happen slowly. So the, the supply will get eaten up and then randomly we will have demand skyrocket. But we want that supply to get eaten up. And stuff like ETFs, you know, this is where it gets eaten up too. Uh, we're at 0.7885. I hope one day that reaches 1%. Um, this is a dangerous term because it sounds conspiratorial, you know. It sounds like you're talking about the $10,000 Federal Reserve buybacks, which that's never going to happen, by the way. The Federal Reserve is never going to buy your XRP back. For $10,000. Um, and you know, yeah, $100,000 buyback, not gonna happen, right? Not gonna happen. And look what I have to deal with, man. Look at what I have to deal with. Another nothing burger, dude. Everything is a nothing burger for XRP. You need to realize that whoever's yapping about this date is gonna explode, this is gonna explode it, this is gonna explode it— no. The only thing that helps XRP is slow development over time going up, and that's actually what we want. We don't want a spike to $20 and then a fall back down to $5, um, and then just, you know, bear market flatline. We want the Bitcoin, right? We want the slow, mature, all the way up to $1.9 trillion, which by the way, XRP would be worth $30. If we simply got to where Bitcoin is, um, which is about, you know, like a 10, you know, 12x or something on market cap. Which we need the price to go up, we need the price to go up, and we're focused on $5. We're not focused on $50,000 and all these crazy terms, numbers, right? So Panos is making a statement here about the biggest problem with XRP, um, is bad marketing and exposure. What do you think about this? XRP Ledger was the OG DeFi chain, yet it was Ethereum that made it popular and invented terms like DeFi, stablecoins, smart contracts. Unfortunately, XRP's marketing has been around the price of the asset and not the network itself. Um, I agree with this, but I think we have great marketing We just need killer products. We just need killer products. And yes, like XRP, you can argue it wasn't built for retail, like they don't really care about retail, um, but we have an obligation to make sure the network is great, build things on the network. We can increase demand for the token. I've had this thought for the past few days that maybe every person on earth that was meant to buy XRP has already bought XRP. So how much more can the people move the price versus the institutions? You know what I'm saying? Think about the people of the world. Even if, you know, we all bought, or people who haven't bought bought more, we'd move the price. Yes, we'd create that demand, but it's really these top dogs, um, like Grayscale, Franklin Templeton, Evernorth, these big boys that can really move the market. And look at that, we're at $20 million as I'm filming this. Um, so yeah, we do need better marketing, but we need killer products. There's only a few killer products. We need people to use it. We want to, you know, we need people to use it. Let's get on to the quant stuff because this is huge, bro. Um, this is pretty sick. Okay, we know Japan's importance. Japan is very important right now. We have the reverse carry trade unwinding. Son of a Richard posted this: Japan, your bill is due. Most problems in life don't explode overnight, they start as weeds. Okay, so he says basically this is a decade-long weed that hasn't been pulled, right? Pulled decades ago. And they're saying— he's saying Japan is trapped. The yen is falling while rates are trying to rise. Oil priced in yen is surging, which we can see here. It's at 97.391 right there. So oil priced in yen is surging. Households are already under record financial stress. So what's happening with Japan, I'm learning, is that no matter what someone is getting hurt, right? Someone is getting hurt. So, you know, they can rip the Band-Aid off and yet let the yields rise and stop suppressing price. Um, sharp pain, but it's finite. They can slow pull the Band-Aid, but ultimately they're going to have to rip the Band-Aid off. And this is pretty crazy, right? This is pretty crazy what's happening with that. We can also see our crude oil in, in the States at 61.67, right there. 67, um, 61.67. So Japan is a very important player in all of this. And right here, Quant today partnered with Dentsu Soken. Dentsu Soken. Now when I visited this website, it's just like a tech blog. I translated this from Japanese to English and it's like a tech blog. Like, what is that? Um, so Japan is moving from pilot production, uh, combining regulatory experience with deep implementation expertise across Japanese financial institutions. Okay, so they're building programmable settlement and tokenized deposit infrastructure. Now if we actually go to the announcement here, um, Japan's adoption of tokenized deposits, institutional stablecoins, and programmable settlement infrastructure. Um, so they're providing inter— oh, sorry, Quant already provides interbank programmable settlement and orchestration infrastructure already used in regulated pilots with the Bank of England. And Bank of International Settlements Project Rosalind. We've talked about Project Rosalind, uh, or Rosalind before. The European Central Bank, the UK regulated liability network, um, and the Great Britain tokenized deposit projects. So now Japan is getting involved here with Dentsu Soken, um, and they're focused on these four things: programmable settlement and orchestration, yes, tokenized deposit and bank-issued stablecoin logic, liquidity and treasury automation, and then interoperability, blockchain and payment technology using Quant's proven architecture and ISO 20022 native capability. Um, so this is coming. You guys know, like, if, if a company wants to use over Ledger, they have to use the Quant token. So Quant has built-in demand on top of having built-in scarcity, uh, with there only being 14 million, uh, of the token, right? And how many of that is held on exchanges? How many is locked away? How many is— you know, what's the breakdown there? Um, you can see that on the— on Etherscan, I believe. Um, but ultimately this is huge. Japan reverse carry trade is going to unwind, and you know, Quant is in there with Japan. Perfect timing for Japan announcement. Now let's talk about the new board of directors at Algorand. Finally some changes. They have moved to the USA, which is amazing. Um, this is who it is. We've got Rebecca from Jito Labs. We've got— that's good. Jito is crazy. Jito is a crazy company. Do you guys understand how much money Jito makes? It's crazy. Bill, uh, from Abra. He's the founder and CEO of Abra. We got Alex Holmes from United Texas Bank Dallas. We've got Stacy from the Algorand Foundation. We know her. And the co-founder Arcturus. Okay, Michael Mosier. Uh, so this is the new board of directors, and you know, all I want to see is just good leadership, good change. They go over basically every single person, um, and it's stacked. Obviously it's stacked, right? It's a stacked board. Algorand's a stacked project. Lots of people celebrating this, positive changes. That's what we want to see. From Algorand. Um, now moving on to some regulatory stuff. Eleanor Tourette is talking about the crypto market structure legislation. It requires action from two Senate committee committees. We need banking and agriculture, um, separate jurisdictions. People are asking, like, I thought this was delayed until the end of January. Um, and she's clarifying Uh, Senate AG's markup is the one that has been pushed to the end of the month. The Senate banking one is tomorrow, January 15th, right? We've got the Clarity Act in there too. This is very tough stuff to understand, all the legalese. Now Coin Bureau is putting out this: crypto market structure bill rules are going to take up to 8 years. 8 years, bro. Experts say that even if the crypto bill passes, it may take nearly 2 presidential terms before all the rules actually apply. They point to Dodd-Frank, where financial rules took 3 to 8 years to roll out. This is what we're dealing with. Um, this is the time frame, okay? I know a lot of these other people on the internet love to tell you that it's faster, right? Like XRP is going to be $100 by the end of 2025. How did that go? We're at $2, right? Um, stuff like that is wrong and will always be wrong. The timeline is way more stretched than we think, in my opinion. Uh, the timeline is going to take a little bit longer than you think, okay? Especially when you're replacing an entire financial system, um, and that's hitting at the same time as AI is hitting. And what AI is going to do to the economy and post-labor society and all of that is hitting at the same time. It literally collides for a new world order. Okay, and new world order, don't get caught up on that. We redefine that term here: a new way of doing things. That's it, right? Imagine a world where no one works anymore. Work is optional. Everyone has what they need. Right. And yes, that plays into the WEF saying, you know, you will own nothing and be happy because everything is being rented from the government. Okay. Will you be happy, though? And does that matter? Like, even if everything's rented from the government and you're good to go, they're saying you will be happy with it. Right. So is it a good reality that they're trying to get to? Is that a good reality where you don't own anything? All I know is I want you guys to own things, okay? I want you guys to have pure freedom. Watch this freedom. I can take a sip of kombucha while I'm filming a video. Ready? That's freedom. No one told me to not do that, okay? That's— we need to retain that for you guys. What I want to do with Gold Squad, uh, link in the description. Get your membership. It's literally a couple, you know, skip a couple coffees a month and get in there, dude. It's for the sake of your future, like, at this point. And that sounds so crazy to say, but it literally is, bro. It literally is. Like, if you don't own assets, you're going to be cooked. You are going to be done for. Um, and what I want to do though is make sure you guys have a way of making money separate to relying on crypto. So we're doing a lot with the affiliate program in there. You can start up your own crypto, uh, pages and start printing money, right? Basically by growing the Gold Squad with us. So it's kind of like a business in a box, business in a box. Like I can just hand you this box and you've already got your own business. Boom. So that's kind of what we're doing. Okay, final, um How long are we at? 19 minutes. Okay, final update here. CBDC. Oh yeah, by the way, on my point of this, the reason for all of that is because I think communities that provide like, um, a way out of the matrix, basically a way out of the regular, like, so you can transition to a post-labor society faster. Because I think a lot of us agree that You know, that'd be sick to not have to work and just like, if you like basketball, just play basketball all day. And you know, you got good food, a good lifestyle, and you just do what you want all day, right? And that's a freaking— that's gonna be a reality for a lot of people, and I want to speed up the transition for you guys. So today's central bank currencies. So let's talk about this because we've looked at this map before, uh, years ago. But this is how it's looking now, and you can see every single thing is lit up. Basically every single thing is lit up. Okay, um, you have some that are still gray, but— and some that are canceled, like Kenya canceled theirs, Peru— or sorry, Ecuador canceled theirs. But the greens are in research, and the You know, these are already piloting. The orange is already piloting. So Russia, Kazakhstan, China, India, the big dogs are, are in this. Everyone is in this. We have Nigeria who launched, right? Um, is that Palau over there or something? No, that's Jamaica. Um, Palau I know has one going. So fact of the matter is everyone is doing it. Everyone is going for it, okay? Central bank digital currencies. This is the one of the ways they're gonna try and survive, right? One of the ways they're gonna try and survive, right? That is all we've got for today's video. I love every single one of you. I'm putting the comment really deep today, so if you made it to right now, I'm putting it really deep, putting it right at the end. What are we gonna comment today? Um, no, not that. Let's comment, bring back freedom. Bring back freedom. Bring back freedom. Okay, um, bring back freedom. Comment that. I'm gonna heart your comment and try to reply to as many people as I can. Thank you for watching. I love every single one of you. Join the Discord, uh, link is in the description. And goodbye.
