With Bitcoin, that you can start as one thing, peer-to-peer digital cash, and you can end up as another thing, digital gold. So the actual mission of Bitcoin technically failed, and it became something that it never was supposed to be. For example, if Satoshi Nakamoto was public and talking about his project, what would he say about it? He would be confused on how it got to digital gold status. Or maybe he wouldn't be. We don't know. Would he be angry that it moved to digital gold status or not? So with Quant, we can start out as one thing, but that supply can actually cause it to become another thing, which it might be the greatest head fake of all time.
