🎅 CRUCIAL TIMES IN CRYPTO | MERRY CHRISTMAS MARKET UPDATE 🎅

In this holiday‑themed daily market update, Crypto Mason greets viewers, wishes a Merry Christmas, and announces a brief break before diving into a crucial crypto analysis. He focuses on Bitcoin’s technical position, highlighting the 21‑week SMA/EMA support band and the need for a weekly close above $53,000 to confirm bullish momentum. Mason notes a $100 B daily volume, Bitcoin hovering just above $50,000, and Ethereum at $4,000, framing both as key psychological levels. He then reviews the day’s top altcoin gainers—Fantom, Near Protocol, IOTEX, Algorand, and Curve DAO—citing substantial inflows (e.g., $68 M into Curve) and the flow of USDT into these assets and Bitcoin into DOGE. The segment shifts to regulatory and decentralization discourse: Mason references a Vitalik Buterin tweet criticizing Ripple’s centralization claims, and a Brad Garlinghouse clip arguing that XRP’s transaction speed nullifies volatility concerns compared to fiat. He introduces the QRC‑20 multi‑ledger token standard, explaining its role in unifying ERC‑20, BEP‑20, and future layer‑1 tokens via Overledger, and its potential for synthetic CBDCs. The video then covers SWIFT’s new “SWIFT Go” service, detailing its five pillars, projected $24 trillion tokenized‑asset market by 2027, and its implications for crypto interoperability, while expressing skepticism about Ripple’s involvement. Finally, Mason shares community commentary, including Jack Dorsey’s anti‑Ethereum stance, and wraps up with holiday wishes and calls to follow his social channels.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives and we always find it. Now, first of all, of course, Merry Christmas Eve to everybody. I found this funny meme. The Weeknd is my favorite music artist. If you're not following me on Instagram— or sorry, if you are following me on Instagram, you would know this— but when it says, when Christmas falls on The Weeknd, and you know his crazy hair, it looks like a tree. Okay, Merry Christmas. Lots of love to everybody. Uh, tomorrow there will be no daily market update. I'm gonna take at least— I feel like I deserve at least one day off. Come on, bro, it's Christmas. So, but today we have a crucial, we have a crucial daily market update for real. Bitcoin is sitting in a very, very crucial spot. Like, oh my goodness, we had a little Christmas pump so we can flex on our grandmas. Uh, if we want, we can flex our little Bitcoin. Oh, look, grandma, it's at $50,000 on Christmas. Uh, but we can see the, the bull market support band is, we can see right here, the 21-week SMA. And it's the 21-week EMA. SMA is simple moving average, EMA is exponential moving average. Okay, those are those two lines right there. Okay, we can see that when we're below this, the market's doing very bad. Look right here, we went below it, the market did horrible. We actually went to $28,000 in, uh, this summer, right? But now we are, we are going up and we're testing this. This weekly close coming up on Sunday is going to be very important. We need— I want to see a close in that bull market support band for this week, or even above it, okay? Even above it. $53,000 is super crucial, okay? That's where the top line is right now, $53,000. We need to get past that, okay? Christmas pump, please. It's already snowing here in, in Canada. It started snowing in the morning. Now look at this, we're at 100— we have 100 billion volume today, so it's a decent volume day. We got Ethereum up at 4,000. This is interesting seeing Bitcoin above 50,000, ETH above 4,000. Those are both crucial points for Bitcoin. Who do we have as the top gainers today? We got Fantom, Near Protocol, IOTEX. Near has been doing very good, 80% in 7 days. That is amazing. Algorand is also doing very well. I told people to buy at $1.30. Uh, $1.30. I bought at $1.30 as well. We've got Curve DAO doing great at $5.55. Amazing. Also, take a look at this. This is just amazing. Shout out to the Crypto Bubbles people because they put Santa hats on all of these coins. Uh, very cool right there. AR, Fantom, you know, interesting stuff. We can see the buy flow. So this is where money, like liquidity, is flowing today. In the last 24 hours. We can see some of these, like CRV is here with $68 million flowing in, right? Like CRV is— is all the smart people are buying CRV. CRV is a great, great buy still at $5.55, I think. Um, also ROSE is there, okay? ROSE is there. So this is the money flow today. Money's coming from USDT into all of these, and then Bitcoin into DOGE. That's always the, the way they go with that. But this is important. BTC needs to get above $53,000, close the week, have a good close in this bull market support band, and I will be— I'll be sitting even more confident that lengthening cycles is real. Now I want to say, never forget to this Vitalik Buterin tweet. This tweet is real. It is real. Uh, this was, um, I don't know when this was. It was either when Ripple got sued or it was either way long ago. Okay, he says it looks like the Ripple XRP team is sinking to new levels of strangeness. They're claiming that their shitcoin should not be called a security for public policy reasons, namely because Bitcoin and Ethereum are Chinese controlled. Oh my goodness. Okay, this is crazy. This is crazy that he said this right here because it's a matter of decentralization. That's what the people are gonna— the SEC is gonna care about. Is there an actual company and entity behind this? Okay, and is it centralized like Bitcoin? You know, the mining pools and everything, the hash rate is centralized. Now CryptoAri right here This is Brad Garlinghouse talking about how volatility is a stupid argument for why XRP won't be used. Take a look at this clip.
I hear people talk about volatility and I feel like they're propagating misinformation. The volatility risk of fiat— volatility is just a mathematical calculation of time times volatility. If you hold fiat for, let's say, an average SWIFT transaction stays in your bank for 2 days, That's about 180,000 seconds. An XRP transaction is 3 seconds. So if you take a low volatile asset times a long duration fiat, or a high volatility asset versus a very, very short amount of time, it turns out mathematically there's less volatility risk in an XRP transaction than there is in a fiat transaction. The difference is you have market makers. When you do a SWIFT transaction, there's banks saying— there's a market maker saying, I'll lock in that rate. I'll take the volatility risk for the next 2 or 3 days. With XRP, you don't have to do that because it settles so quickly.
There you go. Okay, the volatility of XRP won't even matter because the, the money is flowing through it so fast. Okay, Nava Kwamphy says there is no need for layer 1s to build bridges anymore, and this is the QRC, uh, 20 thing. Basically, he says right here, Smelly Shark says QRC 20 is basically the first ever multi-ledger technology standard. I MLT stands for that. Uh, standards like ERC-20 and BEP-20, which is the Binance, uh, protocol— he says they are just protocols. They let tokens within their respective ecosystems talk to each other by standardizing the language that they use to speak to each other. QRC-20 is thus standardizing all these different standards out there. This is the first time ever that any project can issue a token that is connected at the get-go to all of the layer 1s on Overledger and also all of the layer 1s that will pop up in the future as long as they get added to Overledger. He would imagine it's compelling for synthetic CBDCs to get issued using the QRC-20 standard. So this QRC-20, we've been covering it in every video. It is very important. Okay, moving on. Right here we got Shane Higdon. This is the CEO of the HBAR Foundation. So the announcement was not the Crypto.com. He says there's been an unavoidable delay in the announcement I mentioned. Releasing this late is not optimal given the holidays, so will be after the first of the year. Oh my goodness. So are they just— I don't know, man. Are they— did they say that the Crypto.com Like, we had that Crypto.com announcement that was kind of positioned as the announcement, but who knows. We're waiting on— we're waiting on another announcement. So January 1st, we have SWIFT Go. Okay, SWIFT Go, this is something really peculiar that we need to talk about, dude. Take a look at this video from Bank XRP. Look at— look at this, okay. Look what Swift has just put out right here.
To meet this need, financial institutions are coming together to define a new way for making low-value cross-border payments and boost their business in a high-growth segment. To do this, we're building on the success of Swift GPI to create a new way to make low-value cross-border payments.
Swift GPI, Swift Go.
This new service is underpinned by 5 key pillars. The service will guarantee predictability of end-to-end fees, FX, and time the payment will take to arrive, known in advance. The service will equip customers with a simple option for moving money directly from their bank account. Payments will be routed via the fastest and most efficient corridors using instant settlement where available.
Swift explores the expansion of network into the digital asset market. Okay, for all I want to focus on right here, uh, relative to cryptos and stablecoins, the current market cap of tokenized assets is small, but momentum for these digital assets are expanding. By some estimates, volumes could reach $24 trillion by 2027. So that is SWIFT saying that, that this could happen right there. Now they're basically trying to do— they're trying to solve interoperability, right? As a natural cooperative with a reach across 11,000 institutions in more than 200 countries and oversight by central banks globally, SWIFT is uniquely placed to engage closely in the future of securities. There's a lot of interchanging here with CBDCs, stablecoins, digital assets, virtual currencies. There's a million freaking different terms that they use for this stuff, and nobody knows what to call it yet, right? So this is interesting from SWIFT right there. I mean, I don't see it as a good thing for Ripple. A lot of people are saying like, um, you know, this is, this is using XRP? No, I don't think so, unless somebody could show me where Swift mentions Ripple at all. I think they want to compete. They want to compete, right? Just my opinion. Jack right here, founder of Twitter, says, I'm not anti-ETH, I'm anti-centralized, VC-owned, single point of failure, and corporate-controlled lies. If your goal is anti-establishment, I promise you it isn't Ethereum. Don't believe or trust me, just look at the fundamentals. Wow, that's pretty crazy right there. Even Elon saying he's pro-Doge over here. Super interesting from Jack right there. That is all we've got for the daily market update. I thought about throwing this SWIFT thing in because we really need to watch what's going on here, like Like, Ripple was sued to slow them down. I swear, that is one of the main reasons Ripple was sued, to slow them down. I mean, it's gonna get interesting, dude. But that is all we've got. Merry Christmas Eve to everyone, everyone, uh, again.
