DEEP XRP TALK - CRYPTO MASON + ZACH RECTOR - TIK TOK LIVE

Mason Versluis and Zach Rector discuss XRP's potential in global payments, arguing it outperforms Bitcoin for utility and that Ripple's technology will dominate wholesale markets. Zach holds Algorand and Hedera instead, citing their ISO-200 inclusion, while both dismiss SEC lawsuit concerns based on regulatory rulings recognizing XRP as a digital currency.

Zach, I'm not going live now, man. I ain't actually— what up? Uh-oh, uh-oh. What's up? Nice to meet you, man.
Yeah, what's up, dude?
I'm chilling. We were talking about XRP. What you been doing?
Not much, not much. Just getting some stuff done today. Thought I'd pop on, see where we're at with the markets and everything.
Yeah, we got XRP chilling at— what is it, 60 cents still? Yeah, 60 cents. Are you buying or what are you doing? You're not buying nothing right now, or—
I'm sitting on the sidelines. I'm buying other coins right now. XRP, I'm waiting. I'm already loaded up, right? So I'm waiting on these other coins. I just bought, uh, ALGO and HBAR though, so I, you know, I, I don't know if you knew this, but I was all in XRP, and, uh, so I'm just now starting to diversify into some other coins.
That's crazy. You were one of those that are full on— that's amazing.
Um, we'll see. I used to have Stellar, and I used to be all in Bitcoin, but yeah, in 2020 I went all in XRP.
That's interesting. Um, so now you're diversifying into— why'd you pick HBAR?
Yeah, so I'm going into the ISO 200 projects, and then, uh, the, the list that the World Economic Forum listed too. I like, you know, Solana, and how do you say it, Celo?
Uh, I think it's Celo, but I could see variations for it.
Yeah, that list is good. And then the ISO 200 projects, the ones with real utility, and then HBAR. It's different from all the other blockchains. I was listening to you talk about it on your live a few times now, and so you've been helping me get a better understanding. And then I went live with Josh as well, and, and so I got a better idea on how that actually works.
Yeah.
And finally just bought some, some Algorand and some HBAR. Yeah, nice.
Yeah, HBAR is definitely an anomaly. It's the only only one out there that's a hashgraph. And I'm like, I'm super bullish on that. I'm super bullish. I just saw an article from Switzerland saying that blockchains aren't suitable for CBDCs, and that was super interesting that they're saying that. Um, and it just, it just reminded me of Hashgraph. Like, like, the Hashgraph technology is, um, the most mathematically secure network you could ever get, like, possible. It's the mathematically secure possible right now. So if they're looking for security, um, and they're saying blockchains aren't suitable for some reason— just Switzerland, keep in mind, like, I saw people getting mad at me— just Switzerland, that's what they're saying. Um, so immediately I thought of Hashgraph.
So, so it's based— it's different than a blockchain. Yeah, right, right. Yeah, that's why I was interested in it, because it's different. And then I noticed you were saying that some people are saying that it's centralized. Well, you know, that's how stuff gets done, uh, on, you know, that's the world we live in. That's how stuff gets done. So, yeah, go ahead.
What were you gonna say?
I'm just asking, where are you coming from? Where are you at?
I'm in Vancouver, Canada.
Are you serious, dude?
Near Vancouver?
Yeah, dude, we're like 30 minutes away.
No way!
I live right across the border in Blaine, Washington.
Damn, yeah, that's close then, dude.
I, I thought you were on like the East Coast of the US. I didn't know you were Canadian.
No, I'm, I'm Canada. It's so hot here, it's 37 Celsius right now, so we're dying.
It's hot down here too.
Yeah, I think the whole world's about I think XRP to the sun, man. XRP to the sun. I think this thing's— we're on fire right now. Um, yeah, but I mean, Hashgraph, like, definitely keep looking into that. The centralization is complete— the centralization argument on that is actually complete BS. It's kind of— it's all of these things are like hybrids. Like, basically what HBAR has is it's a council of 39— it's supposed to be 39, um, major, major corporations. Like, they have Google, which many people don't like Google, but— or they don't like the major corporations. But it's like, if we can invent something they're doing, of course it's gonna— it's gonna go, go great. So, because they wouldn't work with something trash. But they have a council, and basically all of those companies make the decisions for the network. Yeah, but it rotates. So like every 4 years the council switches up.
Yeah, that's what I was about it, is that, yeah, it's set up that there is some centralization, but the way that, yeah, like the, what do you, the council changes. Yeah, so that's an interesting project. Um, Yeah, then Algorand, I was looking at that one too. I'm a big, I'm a big fan of them right now. Just the fact that I've seen Michael Arrington create a $100 million Algorand growth fund, and he was an investor in XRP, for those who don't know. Michael Arrington and Brad Garlinghouse retweeted Michael Arrington's post on Twitter, and then I see Brad Garlinghouse posted up for a photo op with the founder of Algorand. And then I see Gary Gensler mention the founder of Algorand when he's speaking at MIT. And so I'm like, okay, these guys are in the club, you know what I mean?
Those MIT— the MIT lectures are very important because there you've got, you've got the head of the SEC currently giving a whole course on, on Yeah, yeah, yeah, dude.
I really like your work, man. And, uh, you are so consistent. You're just pumping this shit out like daily, nonstop. It's awesome.
Yeah, yeah, I try, try to, um, put as much out there as I can.
I just try to drop the craziest conspiracy video I can every day.
Yeah, you're definitely, you're definitely, um, Your content is crazy. Like, it's crazy, crazy, but I love it. Of course, I've been deep— I will— or I was pretty deep into the riddles and all of that. I saw you when I was live with Brian saying the Riddlers are right. He was talking, he was talking, so I'm like, I can't respond right now, but I was gonna say yes, they are right. I do, I do, I see that if you watch my very old videos— or not my very old my older videos, I'm all about it.
So here's what I would say is even if we're half right, XRP's still a massive winner in this space, you know. I mean, even if the Riddlers are wrong, XRP still will be successful. And I had a good chat with Josh just about, you know, fundamentally what we're talking about and the ISO 200 protocol and all that. Like, you don't have to be a crazy, you know, theorist to understand this technology and why XRP and Ripple are going to have a major piece in this new financial system.
Yeah, there's— there really isn't— you, you could take all the conspiracy, all the riddles out of and still see this stuff because it's all just in plain writing on these people's websites. You've got Brad sitting on the World Economic Forum. He's, he's there. He's like, just type in Brad Garlinghouse. That's all you got to do is use Google. Just type in Brad Garlinghouse, World Economic Forum. Okay, now head over to the World Economic Forum YouTube, see what they're about, right? We see what they're about— the Great Reset, all of this stuff. So you don't even need— you don't even need the riddles, and you don't even need the conspiracies, in my opinion. It's just in plain writing if you just do your research. You've got Basel III tomorrow. It's a perfect storm of like, we just see what's gonna happen. So, but there's so many— like right now, you can— can you feel the FUD with, with XRP? I feel it on TikTok strong.
Well, yeah, and we're— yeah, we're getting criticized right now as a community, and I understand it. All of crypto is, is like this though. It's not just unique to XRP. It's not unique to anything. I mean, There's some coins that obviously have a bigger following and a stronger community than others, but people are, you know, I— yeah, the, the bottom line is I think the adult, the adult conversation, the mature conversation tells us there's only going to be a handful of real winners in the space. There's not going to be a lot of projects, and I think a lot of people are coming around to that. But the hate for XRP, I think, is because it is the number one threat to Bitcoin. And I, I do believe that XRP with sidechains now, the Flare Network coming out, you have everything that you need to do with DeFi. You can do NFTs, you can do whatever the hell you want on the XRP Ledger once this is all launched. And so that's why I, I've been so fascinated with XRP and why I always just talk about that one. Um, but, but I am starting to get into these other projects like we were talking about, these other few. But yeah, man, I mean, I can feel it.
Well, well, do you realize how— or you definitely realize, but does everybody else realize that every time Brad Garlinghouse gets on the news, it's immediately, hey, is this a better Bitcoin? What, what's the energy 'How does this compare to Bitcoin in the energy consumption?' 'Oh, does this— is this faster than Bitcoin?' They just automatically throw those questions on him every time. And we know what the news does, right? The news just controls the majority of this, the consciousness. So it's like they're clearly setting it up. They're like framing it as a better, better Bitcoin.
Yeah. Um, Well, and when I hear Brad mention the fact that Bitcoin could be used as a financial weapon against the United States, and I know that the United States understands the threats as well, and they've had the power with the U.S. reserve currency status, if you think that they're just going to let that go without putting up a fight or coming up with their own financial instrument, uh, to respond, that's naive. So I'm not saying that XRP is tied in with the government, I'm just saying that XRP and Ripple is tied in with the the current banking system. They're helping facilitate this rollover, this reset into the new system. And that's why I've been, you know, such a believer in the project, is you can see the value in the technology and the protocol, but then you see how tied in Ripple is, and it's just a game over situation for me. I mean, it's—
yeah, it's very like this side of it I try to play both sides now where like my Twitter feed, I've made it purposefully full of Bitcoin maxis. I've made it purposely full of XRP maxis and I just kind of stay above it and I watch them war and see the perspectives. And every time I lean to this side, I'm like, this is so obvious, so obvious. Um, and it really sucks that like the hate for it because a lot of people are— they don't even know why they're hating on it. They get told by somebody that it's bad. It's kind of Trump effect almost, like they get told by somebody XRP bad, and then like, have you watched an hour of content? Watch an hour of XRP content. Watch a Brad Garlinghouse Just sit down and do it once, and we'll come out of it like, whoa, okay, this is— first of all, it's reasonable, uh, he's saying rational things. And second of all, this is an amazing idea. Then you back it up, you look at the partnerships, take an hour on their websites and just look through it. Most of these hating, hating people have not done that. They simply get told XRP bad, and then they just blast that.
Right. I had a really good conversation with Pablo, and I, I respect him a lot because he's one that's giving XRP a fair take. And yeah, live that I did with Pablo, my biggest takeaway was he, he agreed that XRP could decouple from Bitcoin. And that's a big statement to make because the whole space has been riding along with Bitcoin. But when you understand where the actual value is at in holding this XRP cryptocurrency versus holding an old proof-of-work shitcoin, which is what Bitcoin is. I mean, you know, and I, I used to, I used to be all in Bitcoin when I first got into the space, but then I approached it with an open mind and I eventually learned about XRP. And like you said, when, when I go listen to Brad, David, and, uh You know, the whole team at Ripple, they seem like good people to me that are trying to level the playing field, that are trying to create a more inclusive economy, financial system for the whole world. They say that they want to serve all 7 billion people, that that's who they view their customers as, even though we're supposed to be led to believe that it's just a banker's tool. It's just for banks and wholesale payments, which I think that, um, that's their focus, obviously, and they— I believe that they will dominate that space. But it helps level the playing field and actually get us to a, a sound monetary system and a global financial system, right? Because it's been lopsided with the United States Reserve status.
We take—
like, everyone gets that, right? That's why we all got into Bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies. People are just misled about XRP though, dude.
Yep, I've— I watched your whole live with Pablo. I was in there. Um, yeah, important to really put on blast these higher-up crypto people such as BitBoy and such as Pablo. People love Pablo, so let's blast it. I made sure to blast it the first time I caught him talking about XRP. Just blast at these people at the top of the crypto consciousness. Like the biggest crypto influence people, just that they're talking about it too. And BitBoy's— BitBoy invested $100,000. Pablo says he believes in XRP long term. Like, that must be said just to, to make people realize that, like, they must just do some research because clearly Pablo knows stuff. He's a former investment banker, um, Yeah, I want him to talk about it more as well.
He said that, uh, he's looking to buy in here soon. He's still waiting, he's on the sidelines, but yeah, I mean, he said he's going to buy in on it. He understands, um, he has some good questions and got better understanding. And here's the thing though that I also respect Pablo for— saying the truth about Bitcoin. Not many people are, are doing that. And, you know, he's willing to say that the, the hash rate going down, that 90% of the miners in China getting shut down, that's not good. And, and so did you hear the part where I was questioning them about the hash rate? Because I, I talked about it with Josh too, and I'm like, physically, to replace the hash rate that we have lost, it's going to take a while. It's going to take a minute. It's not something that we can just like fire up all of that hash rate that shut down tomorrow. So, you know, I don't know, did you catch that part of that live?
I did, I did see that part.
What's your thoughts on that?
Yeah, I don't— it is going to take a while, right, to get that hash rate back. But the whole hash rate thing is like, it's really, really weird. Like, why would China be trying to get rid of something that they control so heavily? Like, I don't, I don't understand that part of it because I think it was Brian that said this. Like, I don't know if it was Brian or, or this was just something in my mind, I, I don't, can't remember. But he said if Bitcoin is digital gold, right? Yeah, China be technically the biggest importer and exporter of that. Why would they ban their own stuff. Like, why would they ban their own stuff?
So that was very silver. Wasn't that Barry Silver? I think, yeah. But anyways, yeah, I mean, why would they? Why would they? They have a perfect financial weapon right there. They control over 60% of the hash rate. Some, uh, estimates even put it at 70 or 80% recently. That's a, that's a financial weapon against the United States, no doubt. I mean, And I'll recognize Bitcoin for what it is, right? I mean, it is a store of value. It has that going for it.
But stop right there though, because the original vision for Bitcoin, what was it?
Not a store of cash. Yeah, what is this thing now?
Like, who has done this? Who's like kind of like hated it?
Yo, have you heard what, uh, McAfee Mason Versluis said about Bitcoin.
What did he say?
Dude, you gotta, you gotta see, uh, he was big into Bitcoin, right? He made a lot of money off of Bitcoin, but then, uh, later on he switched to Monero and some of the other privacy coins because he, he understood that Bitcoin wasn't private. And then he was also talking about like all the flaws with it and saying how you can't upgrade it at all. It's just stuck at like the initial layer 1 of the blockchain. There's no way to upgrade it. Especially with, um, how the hash rate was worked out. So yeah, if you pull it up, it's pretty, it's pretty interesting to hear what his thoughts were on Bitcoin.
I'll definitely take a look. Um, Charles Hoskinson as well, the founder of Cardano, said that exact thing, that it's— there's not even an— and there's not even an incentive to want to upgrade it because mining and all of that. So, man, like, but what's going on? Like, like, do you see the country adoption of Bitcoin? Like, why would they— is that just gonna fall through eventually? And then why would they even go for something like Bitcoin in the first place? That's what I'm not understanding.
Like, why are they in the US? And I think that the Bitcoin might be more accessible to them than— well, I was gonna say more accessible to them than gold, but I don't know. I mean, yeah, they, they basically, they want to get away from the US dollar, right? Russia said that they're about to drop all of their assets that they're holding in US dollar. We understand that the, the currency war is underway. Yeah, picking Bitcoin is a, is not a good move in my opinion, unless you're China, which you controlled 60% of the hash rate, then it really makes sense. Yeah, where it stands now though Yeah, it makes no sense why China would drop it off while all these other countries seem to be adopting Bitcoin. Like all of the BRICS nations, if you look at all the BRICS nations, which is Brazil, Russia, India, China, um, I forget the other— what, that South America, all the South American countries, they were all collecting gold. Their central banks have been holding record amounts of gold in China, Russia, uh, and then now they're the ones that are starting to adopt Bitcoin too. But then China just bails on them. Like you said, it's like China was going against the Western side, um, with Bitcoin, and then they just have given up this instrument that they had.
Yeah. Did you see, um, Russia was preparing to be cut off from SWIFT? Did you see that?
Yeah, they want to get off SWIFT. Yeah, yeah.
So like, who's the option to pick? It's clearly, clearly Ripple. But I've never seen anything um, connect— I've never seen anything connecting Russia and Ripple before. Like, I don't know if you have, but I've never seen any better names in the same sentence.
No, no. And you know what's interesting too about Ripple is it doesn't seem like they've worked in China much either. I, I haven't seen much big stuff out of China. Like, I feel like they have a presence there. I'll have to look into that because now I'm just thinking about that. But like, they've been Japan, heavy in the Philippines and all these other Southeast Asia countries. Um, and then, yeah, they're obviously big in Europe and I don't know how much they're doing in Africa, but yeah, I mean, they've avoided, it seems like, China and Russia. Um, obviously they dominated that corridor with Mexico.
Yeah.
So yeah, I'm gonna have to look into that more, see what their presence in, uh, China is.
Yeah, I have, I have one question that I have, like, it's been stumping me, um, and stumping everyone in my Discord. I do have an answer for it, but it's like I've never seen anybody try to really answer it. It's like, and it's one of the pieces of the FUD around XRP. If, if trillions of dollars are gonna actually flow through this system, why would they allow retail to hold this? Okay, I have my own answer to that, but it's like, why are they allowing the people to hold this? So what would your answer to that be?
Yeah, yeah, no, that's a— people ask that a lot. They're like, why would you get this opportunity? Why are you guys going to get rich off this? And, um, from my understanding, they had to test the networks. So, so they had to test the networks and they had to build liquidity for XRP. They wanted to make it as liquid as a G10 currency. So how do you do that? Yes, sorry, what?
Don't you think Bitcoin was the test, uh, for, for blockchain technology? Or for like a, a break-in point for, for XRP? Like, kind of like it, like the distraction, right?
Right. Well, I think they needed, they needed it in multiple corridors to build liquidity, so that's why they have it in over 100 countries and on a bunch of exchanges is because they needed on-ramps and off-ramps. That builds liquidity. And then yeah, they did need to test the network. And I think Bitcoin was a proof-of-work test. XRP was the real test. And XRP wasn't a test, right? XRP is the real deal. I think you're right, Bitcoin was the test. XRP was the real deal. But to allow retail traders and speculation was to test the network and build liquidity, is my response to that. And I could see them— I mean, there's theories about it becoming, uh, some form of hybrid security, or, uh, you know, the securitized tokens, whatever. And then maybe retail trade will be shut off. That's what's always worried me about XRP and why I say that our time is running out, because For one, it's hard to get right now. There's only a few exchanges you can get it, but they could do that to us. They could cut it off to retail trade. People suggest maybe a buyback. I don't know, it's tough to speculate on what, what could happen with the SEC case and all that. Yeah, right.
Yeah, so my answer, my answer to that was like, did I feel like this could be the one time that they actually offer the people a level playing field. Like, if you can actually see past the hate and you can see past the centralization and you can see past that part of it, then you can take this opportunity. Because it's— I think it might be the one time they actually start the game fairly. They start the game in a fair way where, where retail or just people can really have a shot at amassing wealth off this. But like, that's usually not what happens though. Like, nothing is fair, right? So that was the only— yeah, go ahead.
Listen to Brad and David and the team there at Ripple. That's what these guys are about, leveling the playing field. They, they want an inclusive economy. And so, and then also, I think you're right, if you do that, you can't stop it once the technology is spread and available to all the people. You, you can't stop it. It's— success is inevitable because it is the best technology, or one of, right? Really incredible blockchain that you can do a lot on. But then they've also built private layers. They're building private layers for the central banks and all the government institutions. It's, it's a win-win for both. But like you said, I think that they had to create that network effect, build liquidity, and they, they do want to create a level playing field.
Yeah, yeah, go ahead.
Uh, and I was just gonna say one last thing, that they already deemed XRP a digital currency back in 2015 with the FinCEN lawsuit. So it's already been declared a currency by the United States government. This SEC lawsuit is just the biggest bullshit staged lawsuit I've ever seen. I mean, they've known about XRP for 8 years and now they're going to sue them? Makes no sense.
So what if you had to assign like a chance on the— what's the chance they come out as a security? Is it zero for you?
Because yeah, BitBoy said it's zero that it comes out as a security. Yeah, I, I think, I think it is. For me it's a zero. They already deemed it a currency, and then if you look at how decentralized it actually is from Ripple and every— I mean, there is no security there. You get no promise.
Why did they start it? Oh, this is what I don't get. Why did they start it on the markets listed as Ripple with the damn Ripple logo? Why, why didn't they just go with that XRP logo and the XRP name and the ticker? Like, that really puts a confusion in place because like now Yeah, I think they're—
they did just to clarify that. I think from the out— get like from the get-go, it wasn't meant to be owned by Ripple, and that wasn't supposed to be the issue, or like how, you know, that was because that's why they have the X. Like I saw you responding to the GPM coin video and you were mentioning the X, which represents that it's not part of any country. That's what's funny about this shirt. XRP is not American. I mean, right, like Ripple companies in America and all that, but like, yeah, it's X.
It's like, like USD. If anybody's not understanding, USD is the US dollar. CAD, that's Canadian dollar. Purposefully, these X coins, that's why a lot of people just invest in the X coins. Now don't take that as a strategy at all, but it does make sense that all the X, like even Bitcoin has xBTC, right? Uh, some people call it xBTC.
I think that's, uh, gold, silver too, right? Gold and silver, they have x— yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly, dude. Um, I'm trying to remember where we were going with that, but— oh yeah, okay, like the possibility of it being a security, it's just next to nothing for me. Next to nothing. Like, the only way that I could see it there's some theories about XRP being backed by gold, which I don't think it will be. But if it was some form of hybrid security that they did, like a buyback— which they've done a buyback before of cryptos— but if it was pegged, if they were going to peg it to gold and then they did some sort of buyback there and labeled it like a tokenized security for wholesale banking It's just, you know, why did they build so much liquidity and do everything that they did by giving us this opportunity if it was going to get cut off at a later point? That, I don't know, that doesn't make sense to me.
For me, I put the, I put the chances a bit higher on it coming out of security, but not a security, not a traditional security. I think if, if there is a world where it comes out of security, it's going to be a security token, uh, which is like a term that's been thrown around. It's actually been a thing for a couple of— a few years, I think. But I have just been turned on to that, and it's like, these are tokenized securities on the blockchain, but it does— it makes zero sense to deem it a security token. It makes 100% sense to deem it a currency.
Well, here's the thing. They're not going to label it as a security in relation to Ripple. If it's labeled a security, it'll be a securitized token. It's like a financial instrument. It's its own asset. It's not going to be like a stock of Ripple, right? Like it won't be a share of Ripple. That's not the type of security that it'll be.
There already is people investing, investors in Ripple. and I believe you can invest in Ripple if you're an accredited investor.
Exactly. Yeah.
What does that make it?
Yeah, it has to be currency. And then if they wanted to make it like one of the first securitized tokens, what was that one? I saw you made a post about it. There's one that just came out or— Yep.
INX. INX.
Right. Right. Is it out yet or is it coming out?
So, so people on my channel, we got into the IPO because I was on it pretty early for the IPO, but now the IPO is closed and you can get it by the end of July. It'll be on secondary markets. Um, but like the INX, like if you know the, the Riddlers, I, I don't know if you've seen me crack this code. I've never seen anybody talk about this, but you know, like the famous bearable guy photo You know the one with the castle?
Uh, sorry, sorry. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was reading comments. The castle picture? Yes.
Yeah, this one. Hold on, I'm gonna show it for everyone. This one, this one's everywhere, right?
Yeah.
So, so look at this, um, the Gibraltar flag. Hold on, where's Gibraltar flag? Um, the Gibraltar flag is actually that castle, like exactly the same layout. And INX actually comes out of Gibraltar. It's straight from Gibraltar. Um, so I'm like, okay, clearly. And the key, even the, the, um, key that the dude's holding— or sorry, sorry, there's a key on the Gibraltar flag. And, um, Bearable Guy always includes this, the same exact key. So I think he truly is pointing to INX as well because that's too obvious. Like, INX is coming out of Gibraltar. Sorry, my battery thing went off there. Um, I think it's— I think that's clear.
So it's okay. So give us a basic understanding. INX, is it— it's a securitized token?
Yes, it's, it's basically a regulated BNB because BNB is unregulated. Um, it's like a BNB with more clarity. And you actually, by holding INX— by the way, I'm not affiliated or anything with this, Blockchain Boy either. Um, obviously I tell you guys if it's a paid promo every time. Absolutely not. I'm heavily invested though. But, um, so it's a— it's, it's like a regulated BNB. And Vitalik, the creator of Ethereum, even, uh, made that comparison. And basically when you hold it, you get yearly dividends, uh, by holding it. And it's a security— it's a, it's a tokenized security. Um, yeah. And then they're like— INX though is an exchange. Sorry, I can't hear you. I think your mic is No, no, no.
So I was, I was whispering to myself because I was looking up Gibraltar. Yeah, people were commenting about it and I was like, so I just looked it up. It's a British overseas territory located at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula and it is bordered to the north by Spain. Yeah, it has 32,000 people.
What?
It's okay, that's interesting. That's very interesting.
Data. It's the biggest data place, I believe, has the most something to do with data there. Um, but yeah, that— it's important. That place is important. And, um, so INX actually is an exchange. It's an exchange and it's a crypto exchange, and their, their crypto exchange is live. And also, um, they're going to have a security token exchange. And the goal is to be able to trade cryptos and securities on the same type of exchange, right?
There's—
okay, okay.
Here's what I don't get though with the exchange tokens is I'm just like, what the hell do you need them for?
Like, this is true.
Like, what the hell do you think CRO for?
Well, it's almost like a loyalty program for the exchange, almost. And like, yeah, you can kind of have pairs, you know, like everything on that exchange would have an INX trading pair. So what I would hope one day is everything has an XRP trading pair, right? Because why wouldn't you? Like Bitrue, if anybody's on Bitrue, um they already have plenty of, of XRP trading pairs, and I always use them because I can send my XRP instantly there for $0, and boom, just like that, trade it, send it away. Um, somebody says it's like Canadian Tire money. Yes. Um, yeah, so that is a good question. What do you need them for? They are kind of useless. Um, interesting though, interesting.
Definitely looking at the Gibraltar, right, right. I, I can definitely see though, like, a lot of exchanges getting in trouble right now. That's, that's what I'm watching right now is we just saw Binance is in trouble, some of these other ones, and then yeah, like, they have to— okay, so, but what you're saying though If INX is one of the first ones through the gate on regulations, that's important because, yeah, Binance is going to have the crosshairs on it from the SEC, and so are a lot of other projects too, and a lot of exchange tokens probably as well. If INX is through the gates and, I don't know, they're, they're able to utilize it on their exchange for liquidity, there's some use case there. I mean, at least they'll regulations. That's going to be half the issue for a lot of these projects.
Yeah, well, they don't even need to think about regulations. They're SEC approved, literally through the SEC's gates. Those are the gates they're through, is the SEC. So I mean, they're free to— like, um, they've said they spent 3 years in all of these offices and working directly with regulators. So people saying that like you're spreading FUD when you talk about regulations, like, shut up, man. That's so— reality is not FUD. Reality is not FUD.
Like, that's how it's like talking about Bitcoin is I'm like, no, these are real issues, guys.
Yes, it is real, real problems. And if you just ignore it, you're gonna literally just lead yourself into a fiery pit. And if somebody— you're watching somebody online too that's just constantly all they're about is Bitcoin, like Anthony Pompliano, like, come on, bro. But I'm, uh, I'm gonna hop off here, bro. Thank you for coming on. We're definitely gonna, gonna do some more. I watch your, your stuff all the time, of course.
Yeah, no, I appreciate it, man. We'll definitely get another one here soon.
Hell yeah. All right, peace out, man.
Take care, man.
