In this YouTube episode, Crypto Mason (Mason Versluis) delivers a rapid‑fire market and NFT update. He opens with a high‑energy intro and a quick look at the overall crypto market cap, noting Bitcoin’s $45k price and the total market cap hovering near $2 trillion, questioning whether a new all‑time‑high is imminent. He then reviews major layer‑1 assets—Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, XRP, Solana—highlighting their price stability. Using a bubble‑chart visual, he contrasts year‑long returns, pointing out massive gains for Solana and Polygon versus widespread red‑zone performance. Mason spotlights several small‑cap tokens he follows (XYO, Dovu, HBAR, Zinfan, Quant) and discusses their price levels, upside potential, and regulatory narratives (e.g., Quant’s regulatory positioning via Gilbert Verdian). He shifts to crypto‑Twitter commentary, citing a tweet from Andre Casterman, a Canada Tax Foundation note that Canada treats XRP as a utility token, and a clip featuring R3’s David Vachev on XDC’s role in future payment rails and Corda adoption. Another clip features former Ripple product lead Warren Paul Anderson praising Ripple’s tech and expressing personal support. Mason then covers the NFT space, praising Solana’s fee‑free, instant transactions and describing “gas wars” tactics. He compares HBAR’s growing ecosystem to Cardano’s limited one, citing community chatter that HBAR is a “top‑10 disguised as top‑60” asset. He mentions his own NFT pursuits across Ethereum, Solana, and Binance Smart Chain, including Cryptomon on BSC, and promotes his Crypto Knight Discord for deeper discussion. The video ends with calls to follow his social channels and a sign‑off. Overall, the content blends market data, small‑cap speculation, regulatory insights, industry expert clips, and NFT strategy, delivered in an enthusiastic, conversational tone aimed at crypto enthusiasts seeking quick updates and community engagement.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives and we always find it. So we have a great video lined up today. We are going to talk about a bunch of different stuff. I'm going to give you my thoughts on Twitter, crypto Twitter. I'm going to give you my thoughts on everything going on with the market and with the NFT market. First of all, I want to, I want to show you my hoodie. Look at this, look at this Gold Squad. Look at that beautiful, beautiful hoodie. But enough of that, let's move into the video. Make sure you drop a like right now. We have Bitcoin $45,000. 774. So we're like, I'm okay with just chilling in this spot for a while because we're at 1.98 trillion. If you look at the, um, whole market cap, this is with Bitcoin and this is excluding Bitcoin. If we look, it looks like we're really about to shoot past this. If we shoot past this, what was the all-time high on market cap? It was 2.4, 2.4 trillion. Do you guys think we're gonna shoot past this once again? Because this could end up looking like a blip, you know. This could end up looking like this over here when we ran all the way up to $613 billion, then had a drop, and then ran up again. But as you can see, within this there's always these dips. There's always these huge dips within the peaks, right? So that's what you gotta— you gotta put things in perspective. But Cardano's still sitting above $2. Ethereum's still sitting above $3K. XRP still above $1. So everything's just holding out. Solana got up to $74. I was watching it on my live stream last night, um, on TikTok. If we sort by the 24 hours— actually, let's go to the bubbles. I love the bubbles even more. Here's the bubbles. I love how they put this here. As you can see, the half of this is basically all green. If you would have invested in any of these, let me see, a month ago and just held, or a year ago, look at some of the returns in a year. Some of the returns in a year on Solana, $1,900 bucks, or, or percent, sorry, percent. Polygon, you're still up 4.6%, 4.6k percent. But we're majority red here. We've got Sushi Audio, right? Audius has been pumping like crazy. Um, man, I'm a fan of Audius. 100%, I'm a fan of Audius. I have no problem with Audius. I think something like that needs to exist. I do think we're gonna see mergers though, where Spotify and Apple Music and Tidal start to make their own version, or they just swallow up Audius. Now let's check out some of the coins that we don't really talk about too often because they're out of the top 100. We've got XYO. Sitting just below that cent. If you want to pick this up, it's 15% down and it's below that 1 cent range. It has been to 1.1, right? It's been to 1.1. So the upside is decent. It's not crazy like when we got in. I got in like way down here, way down there. I don't even know when I got in. I should actually tell you, uh, but it's sitting right below that 1 cent. We have Dovu making a nice run to 2 cents right here. I am holding on for dear life in Dovu. Small cap connected to Hedera Hashgraph, um, involving the carbon economy and all this crazy stuff. I'm just gonna hold it. I hope it gets back to all-time high. It has a crazy all-time high of above a dollar, so the upside is insane if that goes there. 24 cents on HBAR, standard shit, hold holding above 20 cents. Zinfan also just holding above 10 cents. Quant, $1.50. Okay, I don't think it's going down, folks. I do not think it's going— I don't think it's gonna go down, dude. It might, like, for a bear market, Quant, I don't know, could be $60, could be $70, maybe just dip below $100 for a quick second and then shoot back up. I don't know. But it is surprising me that this stayed like this. I thought we were really going to— I guess people are just holding for real. Like, they know that Quant has a lower supply than Bitcoin and more scarcity and more utility, and it meets— Quant is the most regulated. Like, it is the most perfect regulatory coin. You know why? Because Gilbert Verdian is actually, or previously was, involved in all the ISO regulations, all of this stuff. They've— he's been involved in it. So let's move on to crypto Twitter. Now we have Andre Casterman. He's actually an advisor of Zinfand, and he has tweeted out, fasten seat belt. So I don't know why they do this. Like, I don't know why they do this. Well, I do know why they do this, but he has tweeted out, fasten seat belt. Um, yeah, seatbelt fastened right there. That's, uh, crazy. The Light Shines in the Darkness says Canada sees XRP as a utility token, not as a security, according to Canada Tax Foundation. And he puts a document right here, and if, if you can see it right here, let me move my camera. You can see platform access has Ether, Cardano, Lisk, ICON, and EOS. Okay, that makes sense. Application Access has ERC-20 tokens, and Application Settlement has Ripple, Siacoin, Mysterium, and Filecoin. So interesting choices right there, but they're just proving an example through these, right? But the, the argument would be that ERC-20 tokens and Ether are securities, right? Right? It looks like Canada says no. Looks like Canada says no. That's crazy right there. That's crazy. Let's move on. We've got a clip from Crypto Aerie right here about, um, XDC and the R3, uh, R— this is from R3 Venture dev lead called David Vachev. So let's watch this clip, only 30 seconds. Watch what he says at the end.
The end is the most And of course can construct these future payment rails that incorporate these digital assets.
So, so already that's important— construct these future payment rails that incorporate these digital assets, plural. So something like Interledger Protocol, there are possible partner customers, things like DTCC.
As a lot of people now know with the, the recent GameStop thing, how much actually the the clearing and settlement of equities is important. We've had things like Wells Fargo and MasterCard and NASDAQ. So, you know, as I mentioned, about 90% of the banking sector leverages Corda. So this is a huge use case.
About 90% of the banking sector leverages Corda, and XDC is directly involved with Corda. Amazing right there. We've got another 17-second clip right here. Of Warren Paul Anderson, who led product at Ripple for 4.5 years, and he worked on the XRP Ledger, Interledger, Paystring Protocol, RippleX, Ripple ODL. He's now the VP of product at Discreet Labs while he still roots for XRP. So listen what he says right here.
So Ripple is always very ahead of the curve in a lot of ways and kind of Ripple's always ahead of the curve in a lot of ways. This contrarian, uh, in a lot of ways too. So, but definitely proud of the work, you know, did their awesome team, uh, and I'm still, you know, rooting for them and, uh, as a, as both a shareholder and a bag holder. So, so Ripple's all—
as both a shareholder and a bag holder. Wow. I wish I could be a shareholder in Ripple. Moving on, we got a tweet from Ripple. Reminding you, because if you click on these articles— this is not a new article. Oh, it is. This one is August 12th though, August 12th. But usually they tweet out old articles and they remind you of something. But this is talking about NFTs and CBDCs, so they know what they're doing. Right in the middle of an NFT craze, they're tweeting out, hey, remember, we can also do NFTs and we will. So I can't wait for that. Oh my goodness, oh my. I've been, I've been diving into Solana NFTs and it's just like, dude, you pay no fees, the transaction is instant, there's no waiting, there's no like gas wars even. Altcoin Daily tweeted out, I like Cardano, I just want to find the next Cardano. And you know that the HBAR dudes are tapping in under this. They're because yes, I can say with extreme confidence that HBAR is the next Cardano. That ecosystem— Cardano doesn't even have an ecosystem, barely. It literally barely has an ecosystem. Like, what's built on there? SundaeSwap. You have a couple different things. But HBAR, you have like probably over 50 different things already built on it. I think there's way more. I'm going very conservative on that. I think there's probably like 200 different things built on it. And there's other coins even, right? There's other coins. There's Dovu, there's Suku, which I still have not pulled the trigger on, and it looks like I kind of did make the right decision. But there's Suku, there's like all this crazy stuff, man. There— it's already being used in the real world. So H Party with Thousand says HBAR is already a top 10 asset disguised as a top 60 asset. And he's replying to Top Stonks right here who says HBAR is working its way into the top 10 most mentioned on 4chan in the last 24 hours. That is big. That is big because, you know, 4chan, that's where the, the real OGs hang out, um, and the whales and stuff, and the anonymous whales. Um, man, I remember that little craze on TikTok of following the whales. But HBAR is getting the mentions. Last thing is a tutorial that somebody posted in my Discord about how do you, uh, do the gas— how to, how to fight in gas wars. So you can look up this guy's name right here and you can read this. We're not going to go through it. Basically, you probably already know this: you change the amount of gas you spend. So you spend more gas and you can win these gas wars when you're buying an NFT. So update on what I'm doing with NFTs: I am looking into Solana NFTs, I'm looking into Cryptomon, right? I'm looking into Cryptomon. That's what I'm doing right now. Cryptomon is on the Binance Smart Chain. That's just a, a side one. I have many different ones going, like I'm on Ethereum, Solana, and Binance Smart Chain. But yeah, that is what I'm doing. I have picked up a few new NFTs, um, and yeah, make sure you join the Crypto Knight Discord. We always talk about NFTs in there. Join up. You don't have to join premium, but if you want, it's very powerful and very valuable. Um, make sure you follow on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, all of that stuff. And Goodbye.
