FLIP THE SWITCH - HBAR, XRP, XDC, QNT & MORE

Crypto Mason reviews Bitcoin's price action and surveys top movers, then digs into XRP's "flip the switch" narrative: Ripple's gradual shift from RippleNet nodes to on-demand liquidity across regions. He also covers Circle's $4.5 billion SPAC IPO, Bank of America's new crypto team, and predicts Chainlink may migrate to Hedera Hashgraph for speed and cost.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Now, shout out to all of the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives and we always find it every single time. Now, We've got a good video. As you can see, the title probably says something like flip the switch because we have got a nice clip at the end of this video, um, of a dude perfectly explaining what this flip the switch means. Um, I've explained it in my own terms before. If you don't know, flip the switch is like a very common phrase in the XRP community. Um, yeah, so we've got two great clips at the end of this. We're gonna go over what the market is doing and what are my thoughts right now. My thoughts are currently— so look at Bitcoin first of all, $32,000. So basically yesterday, yesterday we were going up and we tested $35K, as you can see right here. So, and we didn't, we didn't break it and, and continue on. We actually just started on a pullback right here. Now we're at $32,000. So there's two options, okay? Either later this year we're going to $100K, or we're going to $80K to $100K. That's what I would say. Either later this year we're going to $80K to $100K, or the other narrative, which I actually like more, is that altcoins legitimately decouple, okay? Or, or the utility coins decouple. This is what I'm feeling, and this is what I'm seeing right now. So either it continues like a normal thing But I think this may be like an enigma, a special, a special time, because there's various different factors that are making this a very special time and a weird time. So what if Bitcoin goes into a bear market and utility coins have their own bull market? Because we have not seen— we legitimately have not seen an altcoin season. It doesn't feel like it's been an altcoin season. It feels like it's been a shitcoin season and a meme coin season. That's what it feels like. Um, and, and we always are using XRP. XRP pumps the last and it pumps the hardest. It hasn't even broken all-time high. It's basically got to like half of the all-time high, as you can see right here. It's like the, the local all-time high is $1.80 or something. $1.90, I think. So that's basically like half, almost half of, uh, the, the previous all-time high. Now, is that because of all the price suppression and the lawsuit? Is that because of that? We don't know. We can't know. So let's see, Stacks is number 1. I used to do a lot of stuff with Stacks. Um, interesting, they're putting smart contracts on Bitcoin. We will see how that works out. And then we've only got, um, Leo, which is like a Bitfinex Coin, um, and then Theta Fuel, and the rest are stablecoins. So not much is up today as far as the top 100. Look at— I called it Axie Infinity. If you were watching this, the damn live stream, I said this is unsustainable gains, and now that's down 17%. So basically you could have took that as a sign to sell, but that would be bad because then you're taking financial advice. But let's move on. So we covered Bitcoin already, we tested $35K, uh, yesterday. And, uh, yeah, let's see what happens with that. Now, some news about USDC stablecoin backer Circle is going public in a $4.5 billion SPAC deal. So will I be investing in Circle? I don't have no time for stocks. I'm sorry, I don't have— like, my stuff is already so confusing with keeping track of my crypto. I'm— I don't even care if I miss out on gains from Circle. But this is going public, so very interesting. We also had this news come out. This is regarding Robinhood trying to go public, right? Robinhood is trying to go public and they're running into several different factors that are stopping them. And it's almost like— it's almost like the SEC and everyone— like, this time it's New York regulators they're trying to stop them from really capitalizing on the hype they've had, right? If they push this off for a couple more months, Robinhood's hype will be like forgotten. Like, they're basically on the back end. They're, they're on the, the downtrend of their hype right now, unless they get some other shit popping. I don't know. But basically, the New York regulators are making them pay a minimum of $10 million in a fine, and they have already been ordered to pay a $70 million fine by FINRA. Um, I think, I think Ripple was in something with FINRA, a lawsuit, and they won. I don't know if it was FINRA or the other one that Gary Gensler used to work at, um, or used to be the chairman at. So yeah, they're trying to do this IPO, they're getting screwed over. Um, I'm not a fan of Robinhood, right? I don't like what they were doing with the Dogecoin stuff, all of that stuff. I don't— I'm not a fan of like stock trading apps, you like putting crypto, like Wealthsimple. If you're buying crypto on Wealthsimple, what are you doing? Like, play the game. We're playing a real way more fun game than stocks. Like, get off Wealthsimple, do your own, like go on Coinbase at least. Binance, KuCoin, all of them. Um, but I actually think we'll see this happen with Binance too. Hella fines, a lot of fines I think Binance will get, and it may hurt their business, but that's it. So look at this, I just tweeted this out like this morning after I saw these two articles. I can just see it now, Ripple launching an IPO and capitalizing on the momentum of an XRP lawsuit win. That is what I feel could easily happen. They've already said that they would go public after the lawsuit, right? So they can just capitalize on that hype, and I wonder if anything will stop them. It looks like we've got a quote tweet right here, so this is roulette. We're gonna see what they said. Some eyes. Okay, okay, nothing bad. Quote tweets that insult you are pretty bad when you, when you read them. It really hurts because it's just words. Change of heart. The Bank of America has reportedly set up a crypto research team. And look at this, just a few months after bashing Bitcoin for its enhanced volatility and supposed impracticality. So these dudes are just like, dude, honestly, middle finger to all banks. I've been thinking about how Ripple, if they launch a stablecoin, and they launch and they become a financial institution and they launch a crypto bank, dude, I am quitting all of my bank accounts and I'm going with Ripple. I'm going with Ripple. I will bank with Ripple if they open that somehow and they have their own stablecoin. Dude, I will play inside of the Ripple universe because they— it just resonates. David Schwartz, when he talks, it just resonates with me. When, uh, Brad Garlinghouse talks, it resonates with me. It's like they're long-lost, like, people. They're like long-lost past lives. And look at this, I'm actually going to show you something that should blow your damn mind right here. Stellar Ripple Galaxy. There is a freaking galaxy called Stellar Ripple, and it's right on your screen right now. I literally think that we are from here. Anybody who's like very passionate about XRP and just sees it as the truth, like, yes, this makes sense, it's obvious— I swear you are from this galaxy and we're all meeting up here back on Earth because this is called Stellar Ripple. This is NASA website, government website. That's Stellar Ripple, the galaxy. Okay, this is from March 23, 2008. I swear, just wanted to show you that. That wasn't even planned in the video, but Look at this. These are basically like little rants. I love it. Um, and I'm always spitting some— see, I give perspective on top of this. I don't just sort out a bunch of news articles and tweets. I'm actually giving you— I'm showing you how it plays into every narrative. Every article I see, I can, I can just like, you know, assign it. I can assign it to different, uh, narratives. right? And I stay in the middle. I don't like choose one, right? Because I can see the Bitcoin argument, man. I can see how it could stay here, but I do think it'll just get phased out. That just makes sense. So we've got, um, the Chinese Central Bank official saying stablecoins could pose risks to global financial system. Now watch this. I found one paragraph in here. So, um, Wu Blockchain, a stablecoin Wu Blockchain wrote on Monday saying that a stablecoin pegged to offshore yuan had announced a partnership with Conflux, Conflux, a Chinese public blockchain, in a bid to promote the internationalization of the yuan and break the monopoly of the SWIFT system used by banks all over the world. I think this has— like, this is what it's about. Swift. It is about Swift because they, like, they control everything. I believe it is about breaking Swift. I think Swift is the weapon. Swift is a weapon, um, and we're gonna see a new weapon come out, but they're trying to break the monopoly on that. Now let's get here. We've got the Heebie Jeebies right here saying prediction: Chainlink will switch from ERC-20 to HBAR to increase speeds and lower fuel costs. Now I, I feel this, I feel that everything should switch to HBAR. It doesn't make sense to be using ERC-20, right? Like, is this just something where Bitcoin and ETH are going to be used for 20 years and then fade away? And if you're in HBAR or something like this, the quantum tech, if you're in those, you're just going to win. Because I'm cool with winning in 20 years still, man, or 10. So we got Jordan Harri right here. Look at this, he's going to explain the flip the switch. Um, in a pretty, pretty good way, pretty good way for beginners to understand. So this is what this video is mainly about: flip the switch. It makes sense to me. I've explained it before. Once we get regulations, all of these banks will feel more comfortable turning on XRP and using a digital asset because it's regulated. But he's going to explain it. Let's listen up.
I love this infographic and I put it out on my Twitter because it relates to the whole idea that we've heard Ripple time and time again say they are laying down the pipelines. These little blue Ripple logos— shout out to designer— is where RippleNet is available, and the green Ripple logos is where on-demand liquidity is available. So where is XRP actually flowing? And that is mainly in the A Pac region. That's the beauty of this infographic. It reminds us that when we say flip the switch, we expect these little blue Ripple logos to start to go green. Whether it will happen all at once or whether we'll see what's happened so far is it will be place by place, country by country, continent by continent. We're yet to see. That's really exciting.
See, that's a perfect way of explaining it right there. I don't think it'll be overnight, but it will be a slow process of just waking up all these banks. Now look at this clip. This is an old clip, but it's very important. The head of the central bank of central banks, which is the BIS, says that central banks will have total control on how you spend your money. Look at this clip.
To the general use, we tend to establish the equivalence with cash And there is a huge difference there. For example, in cash, we don't know, for example, who's using a $100 bill today. We don't know who is using a 1,000 peso bill today. A key difference with the CBDC is that central bank will have absolute control on the rules and regulations that will determine the use of that expression of central bank liability. And also we will have the technology to enforce that. Those are— those two issues are extremely important, and that makes a huge difference with respect to what— to what cash is. And all our—
literally telling you that central banks will basically have all the power. So basically how you rebel is to get on the Bitcoin side and the decentralized side, right? But over here we play both sides of this because we're smart and we're going to make a lot of money. But that is all we've got. Thank you for watching. Make sure you drop a like, comment, subscribe, all of that robotic bullshit that just does nothing and means nothing. But I'm playing a game over here and it's called views. So let's go. But that is all. Thank you for watching and goodbye.
