HBAR, RIPPLE XRP, IOTA, ADA, INX & MORE - CRYPTO NEWS TODAY

In this 30‑minute YouTube episode, Crypto Mason (Mason Versluis) and co‑host "Speaker B" deliver a rapid‑fire crypto market roundup and project news digest. The video opens with community shout‑outs and a call to like/subscribe, then moves into a live snapshot of Bitcoin price (~$38k) and market cap ($1.7 trillion), Bitcoin dominance (~41.5%), and key altcoin price levels (Ethereum $2.7k, Cardano $1.80, XRP $1, HBAR $0.23, Dogecoin $0.41). The hosts comment on price volatility, Elon‑driven hype fatigue, and their personal investment outlook (long‑term, low‑frequency). The core of the episode is a series of project‑specific updates: - IOTA’s Nectar upgrade and Devnet 2.0, promising feeless, fully‑decentralized transactions and tokenized assets. - Cardano‑Nervos cross‑chain bridge enabling ADA‑CKB transfers. - INX’s partnership with Japan’s GMO Internet Group to launch a regulated Japanese‑yen stablecoin (and mention of GMO’s USD‑backed zUSD). - HBAR forecast for June 2021 (new council members, exchange listings, validator network growth). - Quant’s claim to dominate blockchain interoperability, with a brief discussion of its low supply and strategic importance. Regulatory and legal commentary follows: clips of Brad Garlinghouse (Ripple) defending transparency, Joe Lubin (ConsenSys) on treasury management, Gary Gensler labeling Ethereum a security, and a brief note on the ongoing SEC‑Ripple lawsuit. The hosts also sprinkle cultural commentary—manifesting “gold,” criticism of Elon’s Doge tweets, a Chinese digital‑yuan lottery, and Charles Hoskinson’s “new world order” rhetoric—while repeatedly urging viewers to engage with the channel. The tone oscillates between informal hype, skeptical humor, and occasional earnest analysis, reflecting Mason’s mixed stance that crypto is both “better illusion” and “complete bullshit.”

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. You guys are the Gold Squad. Shout out to everyone in the Gold Squad. I'm part of the Gold Squad as well.
We look for gold in every single part of our lives and we always find it. Look at that. We're just manifesting. Every time I say this, we are manifesting finding gold in our life.
Now, we've got an interesting video right here, folks. Make sure you're watching till the end of the video.
This video is jam-packed with some great insights and some great information. We're going to cover Quant, we're going to cover XRP, HBAR, Cardano, IOTA, and a couple more. But let's get into it straight skip the talk and make sure you drop a like. Um, highly appreciate it if you drop a like. That's the biggest way to support me. Just drop a like and, uh, drop a comment. If you want to support with a monthly donation, you can become a channel member as well.
Now here is the Bitcoin right here.
This is at $38,000.
So as we can see, we're above $1.7 trillion.
It seems like we just keep going like an elevator. We go to $1.7, we go back down below $1.5. We go 1.7, just keeps up and down, up and down.
If we look at Bitcoin dominance, we are almost dropping below 40% right here, but we're at 41.5% on that. Ethereum is back at 2.7K.
Come on, we can pass these levels! I'm cheering on Bitcoin. Let's get above 40K and hold it. Let's get above 3K on ETH and hold it.
That would be amazing. Now Cardano sitting in 5th place at $1.80. XRP looking like a stablecoin at $1. Um, amazing, amazing. Everything looks green, like literally the whole top 100 is green, um, except Decred right there. HBAR still at 23 cents.
I've been calling HBAR. If you guys have been watching on TikTok, I called my girlfriend Hedera and I asked her to start going to $5. I asked her, she didn't answer, folks. Or she did answer, she didn't listen. Um, but I called her live on TikTok. We saw it. Hedera, she's beautiful. Hedera is beautiful, but damn, she sleeps a lot. Holy shit, she needs her beauty sleep. Uh, Dogecoin is at 41. Like, come on, come on.
32, 32.
Now Elon did tweet some shit, but at this point it looks like they're just using this as manipulation. They, uh, because Elon's hype is exhausted. There's not a day in the world where he tweets about Doge and it goes up. That's not how this works anymore. Anymore. It did work like that, but it should not work like that anymore. His hype should be exhausted, and in my opinion it is, and they're just using this as manipulation.
So Lunar Crush, this is social listening for crypto.
Um, got Cello or Cello or Kello, I don't know how to pronounce it.
That's number 1.
I've I've checked that out a couple times, it never really hit me. We've got Quant at number 2.
Scale, Enjin Coin, VeChain. The coin of the day is UnoRay.
No idea what the hell that is, but that's looking good.
I like seeing Enjin, I like seeing Quant at the top there. Oh, we've also got Constellation.
That's a hidden gem, folks.
Constellation. Here we've got Min Liang Tan. He is the head of Razor, I think. Uh, yeah, the CEO of Razer, uh, Razer Gaming, like the company Razer, and they basically had a meeting and they are planning on accepting crypto.
They said it's unlikely we'll issue our own crypto, but I won't rule out us accepting one or more of the cryptos out there for our hardware or services. So look at that. What's your guys' thoughts? Would you ever buy something with, with your crypto? I wouldn't. I would rather spend my toilet paper ass fiat money. Sorry for the ASMR, but your money is toilet paper. Don't forget, don't forget, it's just paper. I mean, crypto is just as fake as fiat, but crypto is just the better illusion. I'ma keep saying that money is an illusion. It's bullshit. It's complete bullshit. Crypto is also complete bullshit. It doesn't mean anything. It's not worth nothing. But crypto is just the better bullshit. You see what I'm saying?
You see what I'm saying?
So they can get you to wear a— they can get you to wear one of these and stand 6 feet away from somebody, but they can't get the world to use a better payment system? So they can get the whole world standing 6 feet away from each other, but people argue that it's a problem to implement XRP or something globally.
Okay, let's move on.
We're getting too deep with it.
Um, here's why the Bitcoin bull run isn't done yet. So this is something we should not trust because it's from CNBC. Um, yes, CNBC. This dude thinks he knows something. Maybe he does, I don't know. But he is saying that the Bitcoin bull run is not over.
Now for me, I don't care.
I, I don't care if this goes up and down.
I, I love to see it go up, of course, but I am not hung up on the daily 24-hour movement of this. I still look at it because I like to keep up with where the market's going, but I don't care because I'm not trading, right? If you're not shorting Bitcoin, you shouldn't care where it goes.
Um, for me, I'm a long-term investor, so I'm just chilling. I'm just chilling.
Um, if we continue the bull, bull market and the bull run like clearly this is a lag, like we're just lagging behind or having like a cooldown period, hopefully before a big shoot-off to, uh, new all-time highs, put in some new all-time highs.
Here we've got some IOTA news right here. Amazing, amazing. Devnet 2.0, IOTA 2.0 Devnet goes live to achieve full decentralization. They've got Nectar.
I really, really love that name, Nectar, right there.
Um, so here is the key points right here. Highlights from the Nectar upgrade: unprecedented feeless decentralization. Nectar is the first iteration of the IOTA protocol without the coordinator, providing that a feeless, secure, and fully decentralized cryptocurrency is indeed possible. We got advanced security, fast execution, permissionless, feeless transactions. And tokenized assets can be created. This includes NFTs, utility tokens, and tokenized assets. Right there, big news for IOTA. I am holding a lot of IOTA as well as Algorand, and we can see it is pumping, it is pumping. So that's good right there. We've also got Cardano right here and Nervos, which is interesting. I've had a lot of people tell me to check out Nervos. Um, they're launching a cross-chain bridge The bridge will allow users to transact between the Cardano and Nervos blockchains using ADA and CKB, which is Nervos. So very interesting updates with these platforms, man.
IOTA, Cardano, all these big tanks. I look at these as the tanks. Cardano, tank. IOTA, tank. Algo, tank. Ethereum, tank. HBAR, tank. You see, XRP, tank. Flare Networks, tank. SafeMoon, shit. Dogecoin, shit. You see how you could just label it like that?
So we have some insane news from INX right here. We actually have Japanese financial giant GMO Internet Group has partnered with INX Limited to bring NYDFS-regulated stablecoins to retail and institutional investors. Um, so GMO announced today that it partnered with INX to provide the world's first regulated Japanese yen stablecoin.
This is big. INX will also be integrating GMO's—
GMO Trust's USD-backed stablecoin, zUSD.
I'm telling you, INX is the one. I don't even care what nobody thinks.
I believe that INX is the absolute one. INX is going to be massive.
Um, if you don't know what it is, secure— it's a security token. Watch my old videos, just go on my channel, go right here, search right here, type it in, INX, boom, you got every video that mentions it.
Um, here we go, we've got red envelopes with Chinese CBDC to be won in a random lottery in China. China is continuing trialing their digital yuan. And now plans to dish out wallets with ERMB to those who win them in a state-backed lottery.
So we're giving away money for people to, to participate in CBDCs? Is that how it works now? There's just money incentives? I saw a lottery for the freaking, uh, you know, I saw a lottery for that. You gotta give them money incentives now.
Damn. Okay, even Vitalik Buterin is surprised at just how long ETH2 is taking. We thought it would take 1 year to do the proof of stake, but it actually takes 6 years. If you're doing a complex thing, uh, that you think will take a while, it's actually very likely to take a lot more time. Um, originally the plan was to work on shard chains before the merge to address scalability. Uh, boom of layer 2. Okay, so he is just surprised that it's taken so long.
I am too. I wanted to get going just to prove everybody wrong that Ethereum actually can fix itself, um, and it is here to stay.
Continuing on, we've got HBAR forecast for June 2021. This is from HBAR Tower on Twitter. So we want to see some development of the use cases, we want to see new council members, get—
so what, what council members are going to be new in, uh, June? That's exciting right there. We know for sure there will be at least one new council member. Um, if there isn't, I would be very surprised.
Uh, get listed on some big exchange and hello to new wallets. Uh, so basically there it is. Smiles at state proofs, say hello to the validator network, touch a new all-time high. I like these little forecasts. So hopefully, hopefully we can check off all those boxes. Here we've got Lord Farquant, um, saying that Quant will be the world's most dominant company using blockchain technology in the coming decades. Interoperability is the hardest problem solved.
So Quant solves interoperability. That is everything. That is everything. How do you think it's possible for all of these websites to exist on one internet, on one internet. That's called interoperability. So what, what Quant does is it connects all the distributed ledgers together and makes them interoperable, which he posts a huge thread right here. I'm not going to go through it on how important this is, and Quant is like the most important. It is so important for those to have connection and interoperability, and that's why I'm heavily invested in Quant. Um, it has a lower supply than Bitcoin. You gotta wonder, why did they pick that? They could have designed the coin with any supply, but they really just went out there and chose 14 million or whatever it is.
Here we've got Digital Asset Investor. Just when you thought the SEC versus Ripple case couldn't stink anymore, this— now watch this.
So this is Brad Garlinghouse, and this is a dude from, uh, Consensus, I believe.
But watch what they say.
Joe, it's been said that you are one of the biggest Ethereum holders.
You, uh, it has been said. I've heard that.
Yeah, and Ethereum right there, based on no data.
How do you go about managing your treasury within Consensus and your own personal one?
Um, I guess no comment. Um, so, uh, we Personally, and in terms of consensus, we are, um, so watch how much he's about to stutter, folks.
And this is Brad Garlinghouse right here, and he's gonna give some, some little jabs at him.
A small fraction of the Ethereum asset and all the assets on the Ethereum platform, uh, and we manage our treasury like a company would manage its treasury.
I find it interesting that Ripple is attacked for being transparent because we are very proactive and we put actually the next XRP Markets report, which would be quarterly, will come out sometime into this week. But because we share that information, we're attacked for it, yet other platforms don't share that information. And so they are insulated from those same critiques and criticisms. I think in the dictionary that's called hypocrisy. I'm not 100% sure, but it's close.
Is there any plan for greater transparency, uh, within ConsenSys in terms of how it deploys internally?
Sure. Um, and you know, we're a private company and, uh, we are a private company too. Absolutely. Uh, and, uh, transparency is important to us, uh, but we also have to, uh, be strategic about, uh, information that we release. And, uh, we Uh, with respect to those sorts of issues, um, I haven't really thought too much about, uh, whether we need to, uh, disclose.
Ethereum started with a presale.
So look at those jabs, jabs Brad was taking. But watch this.
This is Gary Gensler literally describing Ethereum as a security.
I am started with a presale and an ICO, which will talking about, about 72 million Ethereum. Vitalik wanted to raise money. He was maybe 19 years old. He looped in with a venture capitalist from Canada, Joe Lubin, who now runs ConsenSys. Lubin took about 10% or 9.5% of the offering. They put 9.5% in a foundation called the Ethereum Foundation, and the other 80% was sold to the public for $18 million.
Extremely interesting right there.
Many people think that after XRP is done with the lawsuit, the SEC is going to be guns blazing at Ethereum.
But who knows? Here we've got another 35-second clip from Digital Asset Investor. By the way, that was from Digital Asset Investor as well.
This is Charles Hoskinson, who many people think I hate him, but no, I hate certain things that he says, specifically about HBAR. The rest of him I do like, um, but watch this.
We're gonna change the world. It's just that simple. We didn't ask permission. We came here and we're gonna get it done together. And there's simply too many people now. The markets are simply too large. The innovation is simply too vast. It's gonna happen. It's no longer a question of if, it's when. And how will these dinosaurs find a way to survive in this new order. I hear a lot about New World Order. Well, guess what? There is one, and it's us. We're changing it all. We're making it a better place.
So if you want my thoughts on what he says about the New World Order, because he literally mentions it right there, you can head to my other channel, Crypto Mason 2, which actually has 21,000 subs. We're growing fast. I feel like it's going to surpass my main channel. Now you can go down here and find the video, which is, um, I can't find it right here. Cardano founder says there's a new world order right here. You can hear my thoughts on that. I also posted on TikTok. Now the last thing we're going to cover is Elon's stupid ass tweeting out this random Doge meme. Now I want to return to a place or a time when we had Elon tweeting stuff like this.
Have you hugged a tunnel yet? Or, I mean, have you hugged a tunnel today?
I want to return to a place where Elon was tweeting, "The color orange is named after the fruit." I want to return to a place where Elon was telling you that his girlfriend is mad at him. I want to return to a place where Elon was saying how much he loves anime and that he owns a chibi Wolverine.
And with that, we're gonna end it off. I appreciate everyone if you're still watching right now. You're a big supporter. I love you.
I love anyone who clicks my videos and watches and likes every single day. Um, but that is all we've got.
Thank you so much and goodbye.
