HUGE HBAR NEWS - FedEx Joined HBAR! - Will It Go Up!?

Mason Versluis breaks down FedEx joining Hedera's Governing Council in February 2026, operating a node and staking to support supply-chain transformation. He doubts the news alone will spike HBAR price, but argues Hedera's Hashgraph technology and 50 billion token cap could drive long-term gains.

No one is more bullish on HBAR than I am. We just got FedEx in the governing council. They have just joined today. We're gonna go over what this means. Will it make HBAR go up? We're gonna go over the entire announcement. Let's hop straight into it. Drop a like if you didn't expect FedEx to join. Um, I actually did expect a supply chain company to join. So here's the announcement: FedEx joins Hedera Council to support the future of digital global supply chains. February 13th, this was announced at 7:04 AM, and it seems like they were holding this maybe for the market downturn. Um, HBAR right now is only at 9 cents. We're green today, which is great. Um, but let's read into this, okay? Contributing the company's extensive operational expertise and perspective to support cooperative approaches to distributed infrastructure. So I love that they put the, the purpose right there. And FedEx has joined the Governing Council, a governing body made up of leading global organizations dedicated to fostering trust, security, and innovation on the Hedera network. FedEx joins the council to help advance trusted digital infrastructure that can support the evolving life cycle of global shipments and make supply chains smarter for everyone. Bro, this is huge. Uh, bros and broettes, I know there's— I do have a percentage of women who watch this, and shout out to you guys, you guys are smart. Um, so let's talk about what the heck is the Governing Council, right? If you didn't know, Hedera literally has all of these goated huge Fortune 500 companies that are on its council. The council is an actual LLC. It is a business, and like, it is a registered company, um, that they sign on to when they become a governing council member. So when you reference the Hedera council, you're actually referencing Google, FedEx, IBM, Shinhan Bank, ServiceNow, right? All these bangers. Ubisoft. Um, the big boys— Chainlink Labs, Deutsche Telekom, BitGo, Dell, DLA Piper. Absolutely insane. So they are using trusted— or helping advance trusted digital infrastructure. That's what Hedera is about— security, uh, and trust. So they're saying supply chains, um, become more— are becoming more digitally integrated, uh, global commerce operating, uh, enabling global commerce to operate increasingly at the speed of data rather than the speed of paper and physical checkpoints. Absolutely amazing. Okay, here's what they're going to do and what this means. Through its role on the Hedera Council, FedEx intends to contribute operational expertise and architectural perspective to support open cooperative approaches to distributed infrastructure that enable the long-term digital evolution of supply chains. So helping advance— okay, they're literally repeating what they said. Come on. Reducing friction in cross-border commerce by enabling secure shared data verification across organizations and jurisdictions. So we have the Vishal Talwar guy He's the Executive Vice President, Chief Digital Information, Digital and Information Officer at FedEx. He says the digital transformation of global supply chains is inevitable. Hedera provides a neutral, that's key, enterprise-grade, also key, trust layer that enables verification at global scale while allowing organizations like FedEx to continue building differentiated capabilities on top. Um, as a council member, FedEx will operate a node on the Hedera network, so you can now stake to the FedEx node. They hold equal voting rights and they participate directly in the governance. Absolutely huge annual revenue of $90 billion. Now, will this make HBAR go up? Uh, no, it will not make HBAR go up. If we get a pump off this announcement, that will be the extent of what it's going to go up most likely. There is nothing here in this announcement that directly talks about the HBAR token going up from this. This is a situation, uh, similar to the Ripple situation. Everything that the Hedera Council acquires and becomes indirectly helps HBAR. Okay, we don't know exactly how. We need these companies to actually start using the token, um, and not just using it, creating value for it, making the, um, token more valuable is what we need. Okay. Oh dang, shout out to, um, Genfinity. They're actually a community partner. That's sick. Uh, how can we get Gold Squad on there? That'd be fire. So I don't see anything right away that's like, you know, extremely bullish for the HBAR token, but in the long term, if they create a use case here and we continue to revolutionize the supply chain with Hashgraph, the purpose of this is just to get Hashgraph to be the standard, right? Blockchain, is an inferior technology to Hashgraph. It's just a fact. Just look at it. Any developer will tell you that it's an inferior technology. Hashgraph is the superior technology. So you see the reactions to this. Everyone's kind of bullish here, you know, but there's no real benefit that I can see right away to the HBAR token. That is the hard part. And that's the part that's a little bit on us to also create value around the HBAR token. I've said it before, I think HBAR can outperform XRP. The reason is 50 billion max supply. If they get hit with that supply and demand shock, they can start ripping even harder because the token is more scarce technically, but it's still 50 billion. Right? 9 cents, crazy entry. Um, we have gotten a better entry in 2024. There was the 4 cents, then we ripped up to 40 cents basically. Keep your eye out, folks. Keep your eye out because even 10 cents is still a 4x if you go to 40 cents. And you know, I'm not here to make 2x, 3x, 4x. I'm here to make 100x in crypto. Can this do 100x? Uh, it very well could, but it's going to be a long road, just like the XRP road. These tokens, these utility tokens, suffer, uh, a little bit with trying to go up. So this is ultimately extremely bullish. No one is more bullish than me, as I said, on HBAR. Shout out to all the HBAR people. Um, thank you for watching. Drop a comment saying HBAR Council in the comments. That will let me know that you made it to the end. Thank you everyone that watches till the end. It really helps the channel out.
