Found the next big airdrop happening on XRP. XRP has been holding above $2 really well. I have found a project that plans to airdrop a token on the XRP Ledger coming up in 2025. If you don't understand the basics of crypto airdrops, here they are. Essentially, the more you use one of these crypto tokens, websites, or protocols or apps the more you're going to get airdropped. In this case, it is XRP Name Service that is going to be doing this airdrop. They haven't actually released any details on what's going to be considered for the airdrop, but they're subtly hinting at stuff. And no, they have not paid me to make this video. I'm actually trying to get this airdrop. XRP Name Service is the number one place for.xrp domains. Now these I've been collecting for a while. If you've been watching me for a while, you guys know I have a bunch of.xrp domains. Basically, it's just a unique ID for your wallets, websites, and more. So you'll see people have.eth,.solana, you know,.xrp. How do I know they're doing an airdrop? Well, right here it says token launch Q1 2025 on their new roadmap. They're also tweeting stuff like premium domains equals premium rewards. And they're showing this guy who bought jimz.xrp for 250 XRP. He bought it for 5 years. The way you actually buy these, because I think you're gonna have to, you know, buy a bunch of these to be eligible for the airdrop, of course, right? That is what their app is. It's a domain service for XRP. To get these, you need Xaman Wallet. This is the main wallet on XRP. It's on the App Store. And then it's gonna look like this once you get it set up. You need to send XRP into your Xamman account. This is how you connect to websites with XRP. For example, if we go back on the XRP Name Service website and we just do a test name, right, it's gonna cost us only 5 XRP for a 1-year registration. We can click Connect Wallet on here, and boom, it's gonna try open it in Xamman. So we click Open. Then it's gonna ask us to sign this transaction. And actually buy the domain. So you need enough XRP to buy it. Now, keeping this in mind, the more expensive domains are obviously going to get you better airdrop rewards in the end. We have no idea of the actual setup for the domains and the airdrops yet. So if you read through the roadmap, they have a lot of utility coming for these domains. Oh, this is probably going to be the next giant XRP airdrop. We've seen XRP tokens take off like crazy recently.
