MoneyGram built a non-custodial wallet on Stellar that lets users withdraw crypto as cash at physical locations. The move is significant because MoneyGram previously partnered with Ripple before switching to Stellar in 2021.
Wow, some massive news has came out for the Stellar crypto. This crypto token is one that I'm holding in my long-term portfolio. They had a partnership with MoneyGram, and MoneyGram has now built a non-custodial digital asset wallet on Stellar. So this means that anyone who uses MoneyGram can go to a physical MoneyGram location and withdraw their digital assets for cash. So this is huge. And the most interesting part of this actually is MoneyGram used to be a Ripple partner. MoneyGram used to be partnered with Ripple, but Ripple actually ended that partnership in 2021. Very, very peculiar stuff going on because now MoneyGram is over here working with Stellar.
