A warning to XRP holders who buy anything branded with XRP. The speaker calls this behavior "psycho" and says it rewards projects for slapping XRP's name on their token. Still bullish on Flare though.
This is a common thing that we see. The XRP community is so psycho. Some of them are so psycho that anything remotely connected to XRP, they will buy it. They will buy it. And that turns into a marketing ploy for many companies. Many companies or projects come onto the XRP Ledger simply because they know if they position themselves a certain way their coin will be bought by psychopathic XRP holders. And I'm not calling all the XRP holders psychopathic, only some of them. And every community has their own set of psychopathic holders. Cardano has theirs, HBAR has theirs, every, every single one. Bitcoin most definitely has theirs, ETH has theirs, etc. Despite that, I think Flare is a strong project and I am still bullish and I'm still holding my bag.
