What is up? I am Crypto Mason, and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives, and we always find it. Now guess what, folks? As you can see, I am back home. The conference was amazing. There was a couple things that were disappointing, like David Schwartz not being in person, but that was okay. To summarize the entire conference before we get into today's market, which is not good, right, where I'm gonna explain everything that I think and everything that's going on in this video. But to summarize the conference, it was a Bitcoin conference, and I heard Bitcoin mentioned about like 5 times, okay? There— it was just so many altcoins. There were NFT projects there. It looks like— it looks like it's evident that this is bigger than just Bitcoin. Okay, but the conference was amazing. Mark Cuban mentioned Hedera Hashgraph. Also, this Evan Luthra guy, um, talked about XRP and Hedera Hashgraph on stage. But let's get into the market today. We are at $1.63 trillion on the global crypto market cap. Bitcoin is sitting at $35,378, uh, Ethereum below $2,500 right here. What now? One, just scrolling through, one of the best pickups that I see is Solana under $100. That is just an absolute buy in my opinion, just my opinion. Solana under $100, XRP under 70 cents. I wish this would get to 50 cents. I would buy, I would possibly buy more at 50 cents. Um, did it get there? It got to $57. I mean, $60 is still good though. $60, but $50 would just be amazing. 2 for 1, right? 2 for $1. But ultimately the market is down, but with the altcoins have rebounded and Bitcoin has sort of, uh, sort of rebounded here. Bitcoin not as much as the altcoins, but everything is green right now. Um, if you're— if you've lost money here, okay, you're basically stuck holding or cutting your losses? Okay, do you believe in this market long term? And that, that's going to lead me right into a couple tweets that I put out yesterday, and then we're going to explain why this has happened to the market, right? And we're going to explain a lot more. So there is no way that this bear market lasts as long as others— 2 to 3 to 4 years. There's no way. I do not believe that this bear market lasts 2, 3, 4 years. There's That is stupid. If that happens, you better be worried about what crypto— what's happening with crypto, right? I think there's way too much hype slash buzz around crypto and NFTs. There's way too much adoption, okay? And here's the main point that I always make: you have a smart refrigerator, you have smart houses, smart cities, smart cars, smartphones, but no smart money, okay? They were still passing around paper rectangles. We're still passing around paper rectangles that are being printed. Really? Okay, that is behind. So the, the word we need to focus on here is inevitable. This is all inevitable. So that leads me into this one. Some of y'all really don't got any damn belief in this market long term. Like, damn, it's gonna be okay. Right? I had to tweet this out. Where's the long-term belief in this market? Like, even some, some influencers are just like, get out now. Like, he— like this— like, do you— does nobody actually believe in this market long term at all? I don't know, it's just very interesting. But it is inevitable, right? It is inevitable. So, so you have to really think about what do you think. Do you think this market is gonna go to the moon in the long term? I do. Therefore, I'm a buyer of coins. At, at these prices, right? If you believe that. But if you don't believe that, then you better— you have a whole different strategy, right? So moving on, when the market is crashing, zoom out. First of all, zoom out. Continue to absorb crypto information. Stack bags for when this market inevitably turns back bullish. The market doesn't go down forever. Research utility coins. Now, why do people think we're in a bear market? Okay, Nick says, did I miss something? Why is everyone suddenly 100% convinced we're in a bear market? So damn, sorry, I thought I muted my mic right there, but my, my little thing hasn't been set up. Uh, Sassel says we broke the high time frame support that was built up since the March 2020 bottom. Okay, uh, failed to continue after taking new all-time highs. That's simple. We basically double topped, right? Um, $64K and $69K. Macro environment is in the shitter. We're going to talk about that. Too much dumb money was flying around for too long. I don't think this bear market lasts 2 years again. Exactly. Okay, so what is the— what does he mean by the macro environment is in the shitter? The macro environment is in the shitter because of many, many different things, right? The S&P 500 has only been dropping, basically making lower highs or like lower lows as well, uh, from January 5th, okay? From January 5th till now, 18 days, S&P 500 is down 8, uh, 8.80, 8.81%. Bitcoin, same thing, okay? Except we're down since like November. We have liquidation cascades happening. $2 billion in crypto liquidations in the last 7 days, right? Yesterday, in the past 24 hours, there was $1.2 billion in one freaking day. Okay, so it's never just one thing. You can't just blame— like, everyone wants to know why it's happening. Well, this is just— it's just correlated to the global financial system and everything that's happening. That's happening, right? Uh, and we also had the Federal Reserve's hawkish stance, okay? Uh, they— decision to hike interest rates as soon as March, and less than expected earnings, blah blah blah, okay? So it's just a multitude of different things. Like, see, you can see CNBC is listing off a million things. Wall Street sell-off, right? People selling tech, uh, tech and growth stocks, uh, because they're derisking, basically. Growing correlation with traditional markets. So big— I believe that Bitcoin is going to be very correlated and is very correlated to the stock market, right? Uh, that's clear. Leverage long positions. We have so much stuff. You have the Russia and the Russia-Ukraine-USA, that whole deal right there. But ultimately it's just a cluster. It's like a big storm that Bitcoin has to go through, and it's going through it. And this, this is the effect here, right? So don't get caught in these stupidity terms like bear and bull market. It is so dumb. It's the dumbest thing ever. Of course this is a bearish market. You have to add -ish. This is a bearish market, okay? In a few weeks, maybe a couple months right, of doing this, we will be back in a bullish market, hopefully, right? Maybe it takes a few months of going sideways. I believe Bitcoin is just going to dump into new ranges. Like, maybe we just range in here, then maybe we have like a little rally up into this range, and then we're ranging in here. Just basically trading ranges is what I think for until the economy fixes itself. Sort of. Um, and until maybe there's more hype, or maybe crypto gets positioned as like, okay, stock market is trash, uh, the macroeconomic space is bad, um, let's go into crypto. That's what we need to happen. We need crypto to be positioned as a solution. So for all you people who need some kind of huge reason, like, keep in mind we're in a manipulated market. This is manipulated. Right? Maybe in reality, with all the macroeconomic factors and all of everything, maybe this would only actually drop to $44K, but people manipulating this drop it even further. Okay, so moving on, we have, um, Tokenicer says, just when I thought we couldn't get more bullish on DAG. So Constellation, Mike Sigil— interesting last name— Mike Sigil an advisor of Constellation, also happens to be a CEO of 20022 Labs, an organization accelerating adoption of the ISO standard. Interesting. He's just a part of the, a part of this company, right? He's right here. Mike Sigil. Do they point him out on here? Yeah, he's right here. So that, I mean, that doesn't mean anything. But they are accelerating the adoption of ISO 20022. So maybe they're going to make Constellation compliant. That would be amazing. Now Bloomberg: BlackRock has decided that it's now time to launch a blockchain and tech fund. Bitcoin is not cooperating. Basically, BlackRock wants to launch a blockchain and tech ETF. The fund would track companies involved with crypto technologies. Um, and, uh, this is important because Do you guys know who BlackRock is? I'm going to show you one video. This video will change your life right here. It'll change your mindset forever. This will be in the link in the description. Watch this entire thing, sit down with some popcorn. It's 45 minutes, and this is going to show you how Vanguard and BlackRock run the entire world. Okay, so whatever BlackRock is doing, you need to be watching. Moving on, we got, uh, Blockwork saying, just in, South Korea releases a 5-year plan to be a metaverse world leader. Part of South Korea's metaverse plan is to create 40,000 experts. Minister Lim Hyosuk, I think that's how you say it, said that the metaverse is an uncharted digital, uh, continent, digital continent with indefinite potential. Anyone can realize their dreams. Amazing. South Korea. I love to see it. Jerry Falsetto, another zoom out for perspective. Hedera has been nicely climbing CoinMarketCap. So basically showing January 2020, we were at rank 174 on CoinMarketCap. January 2021, Hedera was ranked 54. January 2022, Hedera was ranked 32. So we have steadily been climbing, and I do not expect that to slow down I think January 2023 we will be in the top 10, or in the top 15, I'll say. Simple. Look at that, that's just an uptrend, right? 3 data points, up, up, up. Easy. Michael points out that, uh, SEC is trying to buy time for the handover of this draft by seeking partial reconsideration of the order. So basically what's happening now in the, in the lawsuit, um, there was a ruling on January 13th. SEC has filed two motions. The first motion, uh, is addressed to Judge Netburn to extend the regulator's motion filing date to February 17th from January 27th. Okay, it looks like the SEC is buying time. They are desperately trying not to have to turn over documents to Ripple. John Deaton says that he really hopes Judge Netburn denies this motion. She stated it was settled that Hinman's speech was his personal opinion and not an SEC pre-decisional deliberation. So this is— we keep hearing the same thing. I'm tired of hearing this, man. There's no point in covering this for me anymore. It's just we have to wait it out, okay? We can't interfere or it's going to take longer. It's going to take longer if we interfere. That's just my opinion. I'm not saying that we shouldn't— I'm not saying that the SEC shouldn't see consequences for their actions, because they should. Um, but dude, I mean, this is what we see every single time. Oh, they're trying not to turn over documents. Oh, William Hinman, uh, personal opinion versus, uh, the opinion of the SEC, blah blah blah blah blah. It's just in circles, man. There's no— there's nothing progressive here. But I, I'm, I'm— XRP should win the case, okay? If they do win the case, it will set this industry on fire, and I will— we will all enjoy that, okay? Um, so that is what the market is looking like. We can also see on LunarCrush that social engagement is down 23%, social volumes down 6%, social contributions down 12%. You can see the buzz on crypto as a whole. The social engagement is going down, or has been going down. Also, we are still stuck in the depths of fear right here, even though I am not fearful at all. Wow, we're, we're at an 11 right now, an 11. So that is the daily market update. Pick up some of your favorite coins, the ones that you have strong conviction in, in the long term. Um, And dude, just stay strong. When I say stay strong, that doesn't mean keep holding, right? That means like, don't cry about this. The next time that we go up, take profit. This, this should be a lesson for you to know how to take profit. Every second sentence out of my mouth in November and December was, we need to be taking profit right now. We're approaching 60— approaching $64K, right? Obviously, as like at the, at the previous all-time high, obviously that's a take profit area just in case it's a double top, right? And it did end up to go to $69K and double top. So next time that this market heads up, up, up like to $2 trillion again, take some profit. Just do it. Just sell one thing that you're in profit on. So like, the only way you make money in this is making money. There's no— there's— you, you have to take fiat. And for the time being, fiat is still valuable. I know I call it worthless paper rectangles all the time, but for the time being, dude, you can't live in that house if you don't have fiat money. You can't eat that food if you don't have fiat money, right? So take the profit. And that is all we've got. Make sure you follow on Twitter, Instagram, join the Telegram group right there. I love you all. And goodbye.
