⛔️ MAJOR WARNING: ETHEREUM MERGE COMPLETED! ⛔️

Crypto Mason covers the Ethereum Merge completion: ETH dropped 6-9% but he expects a long-term rally to $10,000. The network is now deflationary and 99.95% more energy efficient, though two addresses control 46% of validator nodes, raising centralization concerns.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives and we always find it. Now today, the Ethereum merge has officially been completed. It was actually successful. It was not postponed. It was not failed. It was not— there was no bugs or hacks or anything. It has been done. Ethereum is merged. Um, historical to the max. This is a historical moment, uh, captured on camera. We also went live last night, late last night at like 12:40 PM or 12:40 AM, and documented the Ethereum merge on camera. But we're gonna get into what this means, what has happened now, like what is even going on. Um, and we're going to talk about that. The majority of this video will be about the Ethereum merge because this is extremely important. We have a big warning about the merge as well. There's some, some things that are not too good about this, but there are also things that are good. So before we get into it, make sure that you join the Gold Squad Discord with the link in the description. Follow, subscribe, like, and comment. $25 giveaway to anybody who likes and comments. Um, but let's get into it. All right, so jumping straight in here, once again, make sure you're following on Twitter. Make sure you also sign up for Binance. Binance is an official partner of the channel. Sign up for Binance with the link in the description. If you're from Canada or the USA, there are links for you below, or anywhere in the world. Binance is my favorite exchange. I use this like crazy, um, and go join, go join, sign up for Binance. So here is what the market is looking like. We have almost a $20,000 Bitcoin, $19,750. Ethereum has dropped below $1,500. Currently 6.74% down. Um, on TradingView we see that it's 9% down. The bears and the bulls are absolutely battling to keep this up. We're at $1,491. Um, this was expected. This is exactly what everyone expected, right? Excuse me, was a massive dump at like once the merge is done because all the hype is gone now. There was no problems or special things that happened. So exactly what was supposed to happen is happening. Um, and I believe we will see this probably go down even more today, uh, just as like the merge hype fizzles out, even though this should be pumping like crazy, uh, for the merge because this is extremely bullish news and it's actually very, very, uh, very bullish. But that's what Ethereum is doing. Where do I think this is going to go? I don't think it'll go below, uh, 4 figures, uh, but maybe like 1.2 or 1.3, uh, we'll see today hopefully. And I, I think honestly you should be buying that dip on ETH because I think they're letting the institutions in right now, um, the big boys into ETH, even though they are already in ETH, but more of them will come into ETH. Especially now that it's energy efficient. Here are our bubbles today. Golem is pumping for some reason, I'm not sure. 13% on Celsius, and then the rest is red. We got Ravencoin, Atom is up, Osmo, uh, Leo's up. Not too much focus on any other altcoins today except ETH, but honestly, I don't care about the ETH price in the short term. I know that over the long term this thing will go back to all-time highs and it will go above all-time highs and we will get to $10,000 ETH, um, easily. Okay, so what is actually— what, like, what just even happened, right? We have merged officially. ETH is becoming ultrasound money. Um, we merged 8 hours ago. The supply change since the, uh, supply change since the merge has been 183 -183 ETH. So ETH is officially deflationary right now. And this is the best website to track everything. So you guys can go track exactly what's happening with the ETH merge right here on ultrasound.money. And you can see the supply since the merge. Here was the merge and here's the supply since the merge, right? It's evened out like crazy, right? So that is what is happening. If you want the best explanation of the Ethereum merge, go to consensus.net/merge right here and they will tell you everything. So the merge nearly eliminates Ethereum's carbon footprint overnight. So 99.95% of Ethereum's carbon footprint is eliminated overnight. 5x proof of stake dramatically improves network security by 5x. The merge is a critical first step towards an increasingly scalable future for Ethereum. If we go down here, we can see this is the one of my favorite sites to explain this. So they go over sustainability 2,000 times. Ethereum is now 2,000 times more sustainable than before. Proof of stake energy use similar to making a pot of coffee and proof of work energy use similar to powering a US house for a week. So you can see this is proof of stake and that's proof of work right there. And this is where they want to push it. They want to push it to the green, uh, the green coins. So 5 times stronger, the cost and difficulty of attack increases 5-fold overnight and grows as new validators stake ETH to protect the network. 90% more cost efficient. Um, and we can see if we keep going, scalability, the Proof of stake scalability is way better than proof of work. You can also claim an NFT on here. Go claim your ConsenSys NFT for the merge. This could end up being like a historical artifact. You can claim that on ConsenSys.net. Now we even have Bitcoin maxis saying congratulations for the ETH merge, because if you go on your timeline, your Twitter timeline right now, 'all you will see is the Ethereum merge.' Pomp, one of the biggest Bitcoin maxis, says, 'Congratulations to everyone who worked on the ETH merge. Many people doubted it could be done, but they were proven wrong. This entire industry could use more collaboration and less divisiveness.' Exactly, dude, exactly. Um, and then look at this. So here's the reaction from the Bitcoin maxis: 'Congrats on the merge, ETH people, but please do not start using your energy reduction meme to attack Bitcoin. If you do, we aren't friends anymore. Look at that. Like, dude, of course we're going to use the energy efficient thing to, uh, to attack Bitcoin. Well, not attack Bitcoin, just show you the truth about Bitcoin. Uh, Vitalik tweeted out late last night, the merge will reduce worldwide electricity consumption by 0.2%. Worldwide, worldwide electricity consumption by 0.2%. That is huge. Right now, if we look at this as well, we had Ethereum Classic's hash rate, uh, jumping 280%. Obviously, Ethereum Classic is the original, and it's going to stay on proof of, uh, proof of work. And all of the proof of work maxis are bullish on Ethereum Classic, uh, because they think that— they think that that's going to be the, the actual Ethereum, even though it's staying proof of— it's staying proof of work and it's old. It's outdated. Um, outdated. Now the warning that we have about the Ethereum merge is this, okay? This was put out by Finbold: only 2 addresses control 46% of all Ethereum's proof of, uh, stake nodes for processing transactions post-merge. You can see this screenshot, 28.97 16.8 or 16.18. And these are, these are two addresses controlling all of that, okay? Uh, post-merge inflation analysis indicated that 46.15% of the cryptocurrency's proof-of-stake nodes are controlled by two addresses. So this is a warning about that. This may not be as decentralized as you think. It may not be as, as decentralized as you think. Um, I'm wondering who these two addresses are. We could probably find it out. Um, but as for the Ethereum merge, that's really everything. You guys know that this will get more energy efficient. Uh, ETH will be king in the long term, uh, whether you like it or not. If you're an XRP maxi, you just have to basically bite the bullet and realize that ETH is a chosen one. It got a free pass. It just did a successful upgrade. I'm also looking at Cardano now for its Vasil hard fork, uh, coming up on September 22, um, and that'll be big as well. Final thing we have, just to throw this in here about Hedera— Hedera is trying to get Helium to join them at Hedera because they both use stuff called HIPs. Um, Helium has been going through the wringer, man. Helium is one of the lowest or the biggest losers today. If we click on the 24 hours, we can see Helium right there, 6.85% down. It's at $4, right? I'm, I'm still relatively bullish on Helium. I'm not buying any, uh, but that's an interesting tweet from Hedera. So that is all we've got. Make sure that you join into the Gold Squad Discord. Uh, here it is. We have the general chat right here. The whole VIP section. I'm adding new stuff every single day and expanding, uh, but that is all we've got. I love every single one of you. Short video today, but I mean, it's just the merge. It's the merge. We're going to see where the prices go, uh, but that is all we got. Goodbye.
