NEW FINANCIAL SYSTEM - XDC, XRP, ETN & MORE - ETH IS A SECURITY?

In this YouTube daily market update, Crypto Mason (Mason Versluis) walks viewers through the current crypto price landscape, highlighting Bitcoin above $45K, Ethereum at $3.1K, XRP hovering around $1, and a surge in XDC that broke its all‑time high after hiring former SWIFT executive Andre Casterman. He reviews CoinMarketCap’s new layout, notes the dominance of low‑cap “shitcoins” among top gainers, and shares personal opinions on projects like Quantum, DigiByte, and Cardano. The video features two clips of SEC Chair Gary Gensler: one discussing the regulatory imbalance between incumbents and startups, and a second where Gensler applies the four‑part Howey test, stating that Ether would be classified as a security. Mason then outlines key upcoming Ripple‑SEC litigation dates (mid‑August to October) and mentions the Digital Pound Foundation’s consortium (Electroneum, Quant, Ripple, etc.). The latter part of the video shifts to NFTs, emphasizing the importance of interoperability and a unified metaverse, citing a tweet about generative avatar projects needing integrated games. He showcases the Pudgy Penguins NFT, its New York Times coverage, and a recent 32‑ETH sale, while also noting NFT lending platforms like Nifty. Throughout, Mason urges viewers to like, subscribe, and follow on social media, framing the evolving crypto ecosystem as a new, fifth‑dimensional financial system.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives and we always find it so easily, bro. But this is a new daily market update. We're going to cover everything that's going on with the markets. We've got XRP sitting at a dollar right now. We have some very interesting clips from Gary Gensler in this video if you watch to the end. Also, if you watch to the end, we're going to talk NFTs. Um, and yeah, we're going to look through everything that's happening. I'm going to give you my thoughts on everything that's happening. And let's get into it. Make sure before we start, drop a like right now. Drop a like on the video, it literally takes 3 seconds and it really helps the channel. So you can help the channel for free by dropping a like and subscribing, man. But here we go, we've got, uh, we've got, um, the whole market at $1.94 right here. I'm testing out the new CoinMarketCap layout right here. They have a new home page. And I guess it puts the news right here, and then it puts the biggest gainers, which, um, are all the shitcoins right now. We've got Puppy Doge, we got Moon Willy, we got Crypto Puffs. Okay, Super Floki. I don't know what the hell these are. They need to get off my screen. They should put the, the top gainers of the top 100 there, I think. Or they could keep it like that until the shitcoin storm passes. If it ever does. Bitcoin is sitting above $45K at $46,235 right now. ETH is way up at $3.1. XRP looking like a stablecoin at $1 right there, exact same as Tether. Um, 27-cent Doge. I mean, this, this is pretty standard for what we've got. We've got Quantum going quantum. 16% up. DigiByte, I'm not a fan of. I am a fan of Quantum, by the way. Cardano, I'm always just mid on, just mid mediocre on. But they own the news today. If you guys go on to the news, all you're gonna see is Cardano has an announcement today. They have ties with these news places for sure. Um, yeah, so, so they have an announcement of smart contracts today. But as we can see on the XRP chart, we pumped, uh, to 1.09 and there was an immediate red candle right after, uh, on the daily. This is on the daily. So I don't know where we're gonna head from here, honestly. I said on my live stream when we were watching the pump that I do not think that this is the moon, you know, like this isn't the time where we go and break the all-time high. I think that comes later, maybe September, or maybe end of year, transitioning from December into January. Uh, I've, I've thought about that too, but I mean, I don't know. Nobody can predict this shit. We've got 3 major suppressions on the XRP price, so nobody can predict it, dude. Sorry, just had to cough right there, clear my throat because I've been talking a million miles an hour every day. I wanted to show you this. Basically, look how much Ethereum has been burned since we first looked at this— 37,624. We've got, um, in 24 hours OpenSea has burned the most Monster Blocks. This is an NFT that I did get into, uh, that's an NFT that I did get into. I got one of them only. I tried for more but I didn't get any. I only got one. Now, Victoria XDC right here, she is saying that for all the new XDC investors, this man is the brain behind XDC surges. This guy is Andre Casterman, and he's the ex-Swift head of corporate and trade markets, and XinFin has secured him. Okay, he has joined. So this is very, uh, That's very bullish, okay? Very bullish. I'm bullish on XDC. As we can see with the XDC price, it is going crazy right now, and it's— it broke a new all-time high. We just shot up. It's insane. I love it. Now we've got two clips from Gary Gensler right here, and one of them he admits to thinking XRP— I mean Ethereum is a security. But we're gonna watch this one first. And this one, he's talking about incumbents, and he's talking about all the different, uh, regulations with crypto. But let's watch it. It's only 1 minute, so let's keep it— let's, uh, let's go through it.
I think, uh, promoting innovation and promoting competition means also bringing this inside the public policy sphere. I don't think they compete. I think it's together.
See, just that right away You guys need to understand that regulations are not a bad thing for this market. It does kill the philosophy of decentralization or all this, this anarchy shit. It does kill that. But did you really think that was gonna last, dude? Come on, they're not gonna let you do some anarchy shit. I mean, I hope Monero and all the privacy coins will be here forever. I hope that so that I can one day escape the system or something. But let's keep it. Watch it. Let's keep watching.
I think that if you recall, as this committee, that there's the issuer-based crypto, which is kind of the SEC and these ICOs. There's derivative crypto, which the CFTC has, but it's going to have some challenges. And then there's the whole cash commodity crypto, which is 70% of this world. That's where I think Congress has a role, a real role, and to think about Is there more authorities? I say incumbents versus startups. Startups feel that they can beg for forgiveness after they sort of mess up with the law enforcement. Incumbents feel they've got to ask for permission. And so right now there's an imbalance right now where incumbents aren't in this space and startups are. And you might want to address that. MIT and I are available anytime if you need any help on any of this.
MIT and I are available. So that's a very interesting clip. Now let's watch this second one. It's only 36 seconds, but he literally admits that— he admits that Ethereum is a security. Watch this, like, on camera.
Four-part test in my mind suggests that most, maybe not all, but most initial coin offerings are securities because they're investment contracts where there is an exchange of money. There's a common enterprise. You're relying on somebody else's expertise for profits. This is why I've earlier this year said I think that most of them are. I think Ether, when it was done in 2014, would pass this test. When I say pass, it means it's a security. 4-part test.
When I say pass, I mean it's a security. Holy shit, where did you dig up this clip from, man? Shabab right here. This was from Digital Asset Investor, by the way. That's kind of insane. That is kind of insane right there. Um, and then right here, Gary Gensler tweeted out, it's never a good idea to invest in something just because someone famous says it's a good idea. Yes, that's That's true, he's speaking about Dogecoin right there. Now, XRP CRO right here has a new little graphic explaining the upcoming dates. August 16th, this is for the lawsuit. August 16th, Ripple's response to the SEC's emergency motion. August 17th, the SEC's response to Ripple's motion. August 31st, fact discovery deadline. October 15th, expert discovery deadline. So those are some notable dates that are coming up right there. Now I got tweeted this at me, uh, they tagged me in this. They said, uh, you might just find this interesting if you're a Quant and XRP holder. So this is basically a reminder about the Digital Pound Foundation. They've got Electroneum, Billian Financial, Quant Network, and Ripple Labs. So what is Billian Financial? Billion Financial is a company that's putting the final touches to their unified enterprise DLT. Their website is under development, and if you read this, it looks like it fits with ISO 20022. This is from Dragon Zodiac, by the way. It looks like it fits with ISO 20022, and here's the protocol. Now, this stuff is so early, so don't take anything as fact. This stuff is so early, but I just wanted to cover anything more that comes out about that Digital Pound Foundation because this could be crazy. I mean, look at that, you've got Electroneum, Quant, and Ripple in the same company. That's insane. Like, that means something really, really will happen with that. Um, yeah, so that's pretty crazy right there. Now moving into the NFT talk. We got Ravi Vora. This is one of the most genius tweets I've ever seen, or just like such a, such a spot-on point right here. He says every generative avatar project, which he's talking about NFTs, has a video game on their roadmap. The one that lets punks run around with apes and hang with cats all together will win. This is so genius. I've said this before in a different way. I said interoperability of NFTs is going to be the biggest thing, but also making a metaverse where all of these things— I want one metaverse. Yeah, I want one, one metaverse that has everything in it somehow. Maybe like a Super Mario Galaxy. You guys know that game? Where like you fly to the different planets? What if there's a freaking Pudgy Penguin planet? What if there's a CryptoPunk planet? And these somehow can make one huge game. It sounds like you're trying to recreate life in a metaverse. I want one metaverse though. I don't want to have to— I don't want to have to go to Decentraland and then go to CryptoVoxels or go to the Pudgy Penguin metaverse. I want them all to interoperate somehow. If that happens, dude, you don't even want to know what's going to happen to the Earth, bro. The world, like society. If that happens, it will be like so insane, dude. You will be able to just— I can't even explain it. You'll be able to make money like playing these games, man. You sit down just sit down on your bed with a VR set on or something and go into these games, or even just at your computer. And just— there's gonna be so many new ways to make money. That's why this actually is a new financial system. If somebody tells you that, oh yeah, there's not a new financial system coming, what are you talking about? Shut the f— shut up, bro. It's here. There's people who, who just make money on DeFi. They know how to do things. Look at this, I think it's called Nifty. Hold on, what's that thing? Damn it, damn it, I'm forgetting right now. But you can leverage and you can lend out your, your NFTs and get loans and collateralization with your NFTs. Like, if you hold a CryptoPunk, you can do that right now. There are people who just make money on investing in crypto, they make money in DeFi, and they make money in trading. It's a whole new financial system that you can use if you want to. It's the 5D. It's for fifth dimensional people like us. We are fifth dimensional people. Come on. If you're watching me too, if you're watching to the end of my videos and you're watching right now, you're definitely a 5D dude, bro, or lady. You're definitely in 5D because I mean, not many 3D people can handle me. But let's move on. We've got Pudgy Penguins here. We got to talk about Pudgy Penguins. So Pudgy Penguins was on the New York Times. They got on the New York Times, an article written about them. I just saw this: a four-trait penguin. Four-trait penguin. So that means the background is orange, his skin is gray, he's got a jacket on that looks like this, and he's got the eye thing. 4 traits, right? That's 4 traits. He just sold for 32 ETH, bro. 32 ETH. And if we look at this floor price, look at this. This is so insane. We're just boom, all the way up, starting here, boom, all the way up. So such a crazy landscape right now. I've been getting even more into NFTs. But that is all we've got for today. Make sure you drop a like, subscribe, comment. Follow on Instagram, Twitter, all of that stuff, and goodbye.
