🚀 PAY ATTENTION TO THIS! XRP, HBAR GOING ON COINBASE, MT GOX DUMPING BITCOINS? CRYPTO EVOLVING

In this YouTube daily market update, Crypto Mason (Mason Versluis) provides a rapid-fire rundown of the current crypto landscape (late August 2022). He opens with a market snapshot: total crypto market cap has slipped below $1 trillion, Bitcoin is hovering around the $20 k support level, and XEC posted the day’s biggest gain. He then pivots to the biggest news – Coinbase’s new transparency roadmap and the imminent listing of Hedera (HBAR) and Near (NEAR), explaining how Coinbase is trying to curb insider‑trading‑driven pump‑and‑dump spikes. Mason critiques the SEC‑Coinbase relationship, calling it a staged “dance”. He follows with a clarification on the Mt. Gox Bitcoin repayment process, emphasizing that the 137 k BTC will be released over months, not dumped in a single event. The video then covers recent SEC staff queries on three tokens (XLM, Zcash, Zen) disclosed by Grayscale, questioning why only those assets are being labeled potential securities. A brief clip of Tim Draper (2017) is shown, highlighting his belief that government‑tech (govtech) is a prime frontier for blockchain, which Mason ties to his bullish view on XRP and HBAR as “gov‑aligned” projects. The episode ends with a community giveaway, a sponsored Internet Game NFT tournament promotion, and a personal sign‑off. Throughout, Mason mixes market analysis, regulatory commentary, personal branding, and promotional content in an informal, enthusiastic tone.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason, and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives, and we always find it. Now today we are back with another daily market update video. There is a lot going on in the market. We had one major announcement which is going to be the main thing in this video. We've got a bunch of different stuff with the SEC happening, um, and we're just going to cover it all. So make sure you drop a like and comment on the video. $25 giveaway to, uh, somebody who comments and likes this video. So let's hop straight into it, um, and get started with the daily market update. Also, I hope you guys have been watching on my other platforms because I am in Phoenix, Arizona, in Scottsdale right now. Um, so you can keep up with like the lifestyle content there. And also I have been posting TikToks, tons of tweets every single day. Uh, but let's get into the market here. We have XEC being the biggest gainer today. This thing made a run all the way from— what is that— quad zeros up to not, not triple zero. So big run, but it did not eat a zero there, if you know what I mean. E-Cash, no idea why that's going up. I do not like the name project, it's just mediocre in my opinion. Uh, we did have the crypto total market cap fall below, um, it fell below $1 trillion. So if we go look at our favorite, or my favorite charts to look at in terms of market cap is the TradingView ones, where we can see the total crypto market capitalization has fallen below that $1 trillion. Let's click on the expanded chart, and we can look right here. We've been charting this thing for a, for a very long time, uh, with, with our lines. You can see we're about to reach our little blue box right there, um, but this thing has absolutely fallen below $1 trillion. So moving into the Bitcoin price, we have this thing also just battling that $20K, uh, for the past few days here. Or yeah, past few days we've been battling that $20K, fighting to stay above it. We've dumped all the way down to like $19,700. Bitcoin is weak, the whole market is pretty dang weak. Um, all I can think about is how I want a flippening. I want Ethereum to become stronger, um, and actually surpass Bitcoin. You can see the difference right here, $383 and $181, right? So we got, let's see, we got $383 minus $181, we got $220 or $202 billion, uh, between those two market caps, which is not a lot at all. Um, XRP 33 cents, Cardano 44 cents. Everything just looks pretty dang standard. Um, if you are to catch one of these pumps, like, good on you for catching one of those, uh, but it is pretty hard. HBAR still 6 cents. Speaking of HBAR, the biggest announcement in the past few days here, in my opinion, has been Coinbase is going to add HBAR. Coinbase is going to add HBAR. Okay, we have known this since, uh, we have known this since a very long time that they were looking at adding HBAR. Um, there's me right there. OMG, HBAR new listing coming soon. Okay, this was February 14th. Right, we were— we've been talking about Coinbase listing HBAR for a very, very long time. It is finally here. So what they're doing right now, let me explain what they're doing. They're increasing transparency for new asset listings on Coinbase. So if we go and look at HBAR, right, when this announcement happened, like, let's go to the HBAR chart right here. When this announcement happened, I don't think the price even spiked. Like, it spiked a little bit. Right, but not that much at all. So they're increasing transparency. So basically what they're doing— provide— they're providing as much information symmetry as possible. Coinbase will be using this blog post to communicate when we have made a decision to list an asset. Updates to the roadmap— they're calling it a roadmap, so this is how they're dodging the SEC regulations, I believe, or working with the SEC. They're calling it the roadmap. Transfers and trading are not supported, blah blah blah. Um, these will come very soon. So the following assets are planned to be listed on Coinbase: Hedera and Near. Okay, Hedera and Near. I've been talking about Near for months now, okay, and I'm very bullish on Near. I've been telling you guys to buy Near, uh, if you want. No financial advice. We got HBAR as well. I've also mentioned Aurora. On this, on this YouTube channel. Aurora is a project, uh, built on NEAR. Okay, so ERC-20 tokens. OKI, we got OKI. I don't know what that is. MXC, we got Radium. Uh, these are some of the Coinbase, or the coins that are, are going to be listed on, uh, on, um, Coinbase. Okay, so Hedera is there, dude. We are there. The day has finally came. And they're increasing transparency. So they're doing it in a slightly different way. I believe they're trying to like get rid of the whole thing where when they list an asset it pumps, uh, because it can lead to a lot of insider trading and stuff. Coinbase files SEC petition calling for fair crypto regulation. Don't believe any of this, folks. Do not believe that, that Coinbase is like against the SEC, um, and the SEC is like against Coinbase. They are completely in cahoots. They love each other and they're in bed together. Okay, Coinbase and the SEC, they're working on this and they just, they just play the stage, right? The whole world is a stage. Shout out to Shakespeare. Um, this is all a stage, right? The Coinbase like attacks the SEC, they attack them back, and they keep doing that until they get to exactly where they want to be. Um, now we also have the Mt. Gox thing. A lot of people are thinking that $130,000 Bitcoin are going to be dumped tomorrow, right? That is not what's happening, okay? They're just simply opening the repayment. They're starting the repayment process, uh, so creditors will begin to receive their Bitcoin. The entire process will take months, okay? Uh, it will take months. The fear around the release of potentially the Mt. Gox Bitcoins is just unwarranted. Typical crypto. So there's nothing to worry about with the Mt. Gox Bitcoins. being released. This is just— they're— it's gonna take months to release them all. So Bitcoin's not gonna dump like crazy because 137,000 Bitcoins are being released. Now let's talk a little bit about this right here that I tweeted out. What's next, bro? 2010, we had no one uses crypto. 2012, it became only computer nerds use crypto. 2013, it was only drug dealers use crypto. 2014, only money launderers use crypto. 2017, only gamblers use crypto. 2019, only a small amount of people use crypto. 2020, only small companies use crypto. 2021, only small countries use crypto. What is 2022 gonna, uh, be? Drop it in the comments. 2022 is going to be, you know, the whole world uses crypto. Or the just the peak of mass adoption. Uh, mass adoption is actually forever peaking. Like, we're always at the top of mass adoption. That graph is only going up. Uh, but 2022, what can it be, right? Only small governments use crypto? I don't know. We've already got countries, we've already got companies. We will see, uh, what happens. Uh, only every single person uses crypto? Only good for certain things? Only the— okay, so a lot of different answers there. Uh, moving on. Grayscale is disclosing SEC queries. Uh, they, they're saying that cryptos XLM, Zcash, and Zen— so that's Horizon, right? Yeah, Horizon— may be securities. Okay, may currently be a security based on the facts as they exist today, Grayscale said in recent little-noticed filings. So they put out these filings right here, and they're saying that these 3 new coins out of nowhere are securities. Why are we like cherry-picking coins? Like, there's— like, why do they only bring up 3? Like, how random is it to say that Horizon is a security, right? How random is it? How, how random is that? And then Zcash, like, what are— where are they picking these from? Um, other changes between blah blah blah. Uh, in the June 28 filings, SEC staff has not provided any guidance as to the security status of Zen, Zeek, and XLM. Okay, so we will see what happens with those. However, they did not even dump off this. They don't even dump. Like, coin— what's, what's up with crypto? This is nothing like what we used to have where one of these articles would come out and the whole thing would dump, right? Now it's like these cryptos don't even react to some bad news or good news. It's like rare, it's rare, it's for sure rare for cryptos to react based on very positive news now. Like HBAR is getting listed on Coinbase and we didn't even pump. Like we pumped to like 0.065, right? 0.065. Wow, insane. So coins don't even move off good news anymore. It's crazy. So moving on, we got a Brad Garlinghouse quote: if we lose our lawsuit with the SEC, with the US SEC, we will leave the United States entirely. Okay, are they gonna do this? Are they gonna do this? Who thinks they're gonna lose and leave the United States? That would be absolutely crazy to see. And then the next thing we have is Tim Draper in 2017 pushing digital assets. Uh, we're going to take a look at this clip right here. I'm going to mute my mic and we will play this clip. Check out Tim Draper, the dude with the big eyebrows. Here we go. Let's mute the mic right here and we'll watch this clip.
Oh, at Draper Associates, the way we look at the next big thing is we look for industries where you're getting really bad service at a really high cost. So those might be banking or investment banking or even venture capital, or it might be insurance or healthcare. But what's really interesting is the, the industry where you get the worst service at the highest cost is government. And I think that there are governments now around the world have to compete for us, and you're seeing it with Japan saying, okay, we'll take Bitcoin. And Singapore and Switzerland saying, hey, we'll do ICOs, and you're seeing Estonia saying, hey, we'll be an e-government. And so you're starting to see governments starting to compete with one another for the great entrepreneurs of the world and the capital and all that. I like the idea of new new technologies, maybe, maybe from the blockchain, maybe from just making government more efficient. I'm looking for any, anything govtech right now. And, and of course, insurance, banking, real estate, any of those industries that really hasn't caught up to the, to the new way of operating. I think those are all fair game. Really exciting times, and we're looking for entrepreneurs from all over the world.
So he mentions govtech right there, government tech. I think that's still a good bet. This was in 2017. I think it's still a good bet to look at govtech, and that's why I look at XRP and HBAR and all these quant and all of those, because they are govtech. They're basically govtech. They're in bed with the governments. And they're in bed with the banks, um, and they're speeding up the pro— they're, they're revolutionizing the banking, uh, and money industry. Uh, money industry. Think about what I just said, the money industry. Now, final thing we have is this, um, the internet game NFT, uh, what's it called, the, uh, tournament, NFT community tournament is going on excuse me, right now. I will insert a clip in a few seconds here, excuse me, of me playing this game. Um, and I ranked— let's see what I was ranking. I played 2 of the games already, right? Uh, so I got 6,180. I think I did better than that in one of these, but you have to be on the allow list. I did announce this on Twitter. The mint for this is coming up on August 30. So make sure you go check it out. You can literally win a Bored Ape, folks. You can literally win a Bored Ape. Um, and once they mint— uh, by the way, this is sponsored, so big shout out to Internet Game. Big sponsor— or a big shout out to Internet Game for sponsoring this. But you can literally win a Bored Ape right there. And then once they actually mint, like once they, uh, do their mint, they're gonna spend 60% of the mint money on the different NFTs and different things to give away when you play the games. Um, so here is the— the pre-games are going on right now. Uh, or no, these aren't the pre-games. September 12th. So we're just in a mini tournament right now, but I'm gonna insert a clip, um, and that'll be the end of the video. So I love every single one of you. Check out this clip of me playing Internet Game. I did rage a little bit, but that is all we got. I love every single one of you, and goodbye.
