What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives and we always find it. Now today we are back for another daily market update. We have a lot to cover. We've got Zcash we're going to talk about. Um, at the end of this video, we're going to talk about the cyber attacks that I do still see coming. Um, and there's some, a Reuters article that's further proving that that is actually going to come here. Um, we're going to talk about Russian central banks, Ripple entering the Korean market, um, XRP. We're going to talk about ApeCoin because that is the most recent coin that I've made the most money off of, um, and a lot of you have probably made a lot of money off ApeCoin, um, in these past like 2 months here. So we're also going to talk about STEPN and Bitcoin and the entire market here. Make sure that you follow on Twitter before we get started in this video. There's my username right there, also same username on Instagram. Go follow. But today we are at $1.8 trillion, okay? Market is extremely stagnant at this $1.8 trillion level. Everybody's focused on the few little altcoins that are pumping randomly. Uh, we have ETH at $2,800 here, um, almost $2,900. Then we have Bitcoin $39,000. Uh, BNB is getting a small pump right there. USD— uh, Solana, we got $97. XRP 63 cents. That's horrendous, down 15.89%. Um, so this is what the market is looking like. And then we get these outliers, right? So actually, let's look at the Bitcoin price. So what am I actually thinking with the Bitcoin chart? Like, what's actually going to happen, uh, with the Bitcoin chart? As you can see, uh, this April— like, over here in March when we were running up, I'm like, okay, there's a conference, it's gonna dump, right? We dumped into April, and I think May— I think May is basically going to be flat as well. Um, but I need to see that first week, the first week of May, and then I'll have a better answer. Uh, but it just doesn't look like there's any big catalysts for Bitcoin specifically. I think altcoins need to come through and start doing something. Uh, right now we do see a couple of them, uh, happening, but it's all off like what I call inorganic hype. So as for May, I can't really say anything yet. Potentially just going to be another mid, uh, mid-month, but we will see what happens. So let's talk about the, the biggest gainers today. We've got ApeCoin, STEPN, HEX is also up right there. Um, starting off with STEPN, right, 18% up, almost at $4. We We were at $4, uh, just a couple hours ago. This thing is— this seems like it doesn't stop, right? It's called Stepin, and the chart just keeps stepping up. As you can see, it makes— it makes these big runs, like $2.26 all the way to $3.36, chills out there for a while, then boom, up to $37. It just keeps exploding like this. Um, and one thing I really want to talk about and point out to you is look at this freaking volume, dude. $4.4 billion in 24-hour volume on STEPN. Just to show you how absurd that is, like, look at some of the other coins that are in the top gainers, right? Like, let's see, Scale Network, $90 million, million, right? Uh, ApeCoin has $2.1 billion, so that's very insane as well, um, because if you compare that to coins that are in like the top 10 here, um, like Solana only has 1.2, right? So we've got, we've got, uh, STEPN 4.4 divided by 1.2, it's 3, it's 3.5 times the volume, um, of Solana. STEPN is, um, and ApeCoin is bigger volume than Solana. ApeCoin bigger volume than XRP. Uh, bigger volume than Terra, Cardano. Like, that's absurd, right? That is insane that, that STEPN has $4.4 billion of 24-hour volume. That makes me think it's gonna just keep going. Um, but how long can this trend of like move-to-earn really last? Um, truthfully, I have not played the STEPN game. I don't have a shoe or anything. I don't have a code or whatever you need. Um, I'm just observing from the sidelines on that one. So let's talk about ApeCoin. $21. If you bought in when I bought in, you are officially almost reaching a 3x of your money, right? So 21 divided by 7.5, you got a 2.8x of your money so far. Uh, if we go a little bit higher, you will be getting to that 3x, uh, mark. And man, I'm personally— I've told you guys what I'm doing. I'm waiting for Otherside Meta. This is the, uh, the metaverse project coming out of Yuga Labs, created by Yuga Labs, obviously connected heavily with the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Um, April 30th, 12 PM Eastern Standard Time, only on otherside.xyz. You can check if your address is whitelisted right here, or if you— no, sorry, if you're KYC approved, uh, you can check right here. I'm not sure if it's open still, uh, but I did tell all of you about, uh, this on my NFT channel, and this was just so big that you probably should have seen it. Um, but if you didn't, hopefully you can still get your address approved. Uh, but I'm gonna try buy some land with my ApeCoin here. Okay, I do have some ETH for gas, so you guys can read through that. Also, I think maybe this will dump like right before or right after the land sale, right? Maybe this will dump right before or right after the land sale, but who knows. So moving on, we've got Tranglo. Uh, Tranglo using XRP as the bridging currency can reduce costs and make settlements much quicker. Uh, so these Tranglo people put out an article, how digital currencies like XRP are transforming global payments. And basically it's the standard, uh, pushing of, you know, we've— right now we have lengthy settlement periods that can be fixed with a digital asset like XRP. High transaction fees that can be fixed. Too many intermediaries that can be fixed with XRP. Uh, but one of the cool points I saw right here, uh, Ripple did a survey in 2020. 99% of survey respondents, uh, would consider using a digital asset to instantly process cross-border payments. But they can't yet. This is what they're missing in this sentence. But they can't do it yet until the regulators give the green light. Um, and then 40% of respondents rank speed as a top 3 strength of blockchain technology in cross-border payments. We know that cross-border payments is the absolute actual like thing they're trying to fix here in the world, uh, with crypto. And, uh, Ripple is tackling that first. Now we've got some more Ripple stuff right here. Ripple is about to take over Korea. Uh, Ripple will enter the Korean market in earnest this year. Uh, this, by the way, this is translated from Korean, I believe. Uh, let me see. Hold on. Yeah, Korean. Yeah, it's translated from Korean. This is on like a Korean news site, um, but they were just at the, uh, the Future of Blockchain and Digital Assets in Korea conference held on the morning of the 27th. Um, he said the official plan— so the guy, the Asia, uh, Asia-Pacific policy, the head of Asia-Pacific policy at Ripple, uh, his name is Rahul Advani. He says that, uh, the, the official plan is to enter the Korean market within this year. Crazy, right? They're, they're very— Ripple is very interested in the Korean market. I don't know if any of you guys have seen that clip of Brad Garlinghouse going to Korea and they're all freaking out like he's basically a celebrity in Korea. Uh, they love it over there. Um, and I mean, this is this is going to be great, like them expanding hardcore into Korea. Um, this Advani guy says, I think the lawsuit between the SEC and Ripple is not just affecting Ripple but affecting the entire industry. So we've heard this all before, but one of the negatives here is there's no plan to launch the liquidity hub in Korea. Okay, so I think that liquidity hub is for the US. I think they're saving that for the US. The Liquidity Hub was a massive, uh, announcement. We covered that on the channel. Um, so that's super interesting. They're trying to expand into Korea there. We also have HBAR Foundation tweeting out that the NFT community is a core pillar of Hedera to enable this expanse, uh, this space to expand. We are progressing grants with multiple infrastructure projects. Infrastructure projects, that means marketplaces, wallets and that type of stuff. That is who Hedera is giving the grants to. Um, and we can look at the HBAR price. Absolutely pretty bad here, right? 16 cents, almost 17 cents. Um, 1 month looks horrendous, right? Lower lows going all the way down. 3 months also looks pretty bad. Uh, the year also looks pretty bad, right? We're reaching We're basically reaching this, uh, support that we set up in, uh, July of, of 2021, right? July of 2021. Um, so pretty insane right there. HBAR, I'm, I'm holding, dude. This, this, if it goes to 15, 14, 13 cents, if it keeps going down, those are like prime accumulation, uh, points. I know for sure that HBAR will be a dollar. Right? No financial advice. It will be a dollar one day. So, right, $100 divided by— let's say you get in at, at $0.15. That's a 6.66x, like, right there, just sitting right in front of you if you have the patience. So then we just talk about working with more capital. If you put $50k into that at $0.15, right? $50k $50,000 times 6.6, like, you will end up with a house, right? So this is how I'm— I think of it. The buy and hold strategy has not failed anybody yet, right? If you just keep holding fundamentally strong assets, the buy and hold strategy does fail you when you think you can hold stuff like Shiba and Dogecoin to the moon, right? Uh, but when you're holding fundamentally strong stuff, it it does not fail. So moving on, we have a U.S. securities regulator watchdog to retire in early May. Uh, this guy's name is Carl Hoker, and he's been at the SEC since 2013. I wanted to put this in here to show you that they are shuffling more pieces around. Do you know how many SEC people have left in this past year, right? And they're taking out all the Trump-appointed people. This guy, I don't— he's not Trump appointed. He's been in there since 2013, uh, but all the rest that have left have been Trump appointed. They were appointed by Trump. Biden is getting them out of there and replacing them with people who fit what he's about to do with the SEC. Um, so all of those people are, are leaving right now. Edward Snowden reveals he was one of the 6 that helped launch Zcash. This is big. John Doberton, which was a moniker that was being used in the Zcash ceremony— okay, ceremony, uh, was Edward Snowden all along. So there's like a huge thing with their private keys here, but the— I don't care about any of that. Edward Snowden was involved in creating Zcash, um, and also what I care about is that this did not pump the price whatsoever, barely, right? Zcash fell on the 26th of April from $167 all the way to $144, and then it was bouncing around down there. And this Zcash news didn't— this Edward Snowden stuff did not even pump the price one bit. Keep in mind, Zcash has the same supply as Bitcoin. It's only $146. I do have a stash of Zcash. Moving on, we have Russia's central bank In 2022, this is a timeline. In January, Russia's central bank proposes a ban on use and mining of crypto. February, they renew a push for a crypto ban. March, they agree to treat cryptos as currencies. April, they're allowing stock exchanges to trade crypto. So you can see how this arc works. They hate it at first, they sue it, they insult it, they ban it. but then eventually they just adopt it, uh, because they do not have any choice. Now, staying on the topic of central banks, the Bank of England is warning banks that they must speed up their recovery from outages which disrupt service for customers to avoid undermining public confidence in the financial sector. Setting the stage for a central bank digital currency, uh, the Bank of England has been rolling out new requirements on so-called operational resilience, which required banks to spell out by the end of the— end of last month how quickly they could recover from an outage. Now if we go here, this is the Reuters article. Now what is this saying right here? Banks now have until the end of March 2025 to prove that they can recover within these time periods. Um, okay, they have until March 2025. Are you— is this serious or is that a spelling mistake there? They have until 2025. So I think this whole cyber attack agenda is way longer in the future than we think. Like, I think it's a long time in the future. Way longer than you think, right? A lot of people, even me, I've been convinced, dude, there was a week last year where I was very convinced that a cyberattack was going to happen like that week. I was super convinced. Of course, what happens? Nothing. And life keeps going on. So this— there's the Bank of England is telling banks like, yo, you have until March 2025 to prove that you can recover fast from an outage. Isn't that insane? Like, this is all in front of you. We even had the, the 12 countries testing for a cyber attack, right? How fast they could defend against it and stuff. Um, so if you want to enlighten yourself immediately on this topic, all you got to do is put in a 1 minute and 42 seconds and watch this World Economic Forum video. This will be linked in the description. So you guys know I link all my, um, resources in the description that I'm using. So go to the description of this video and you'll see all the links right here. Look for the one that says WEF Forum, like World Economic Forum website, and you guys can watch this video. It'll blow your mind. Um, and, uh, this is what's coming, okay? This is what's coming, and all of the news is just positioning this to come. So There we go. That is the daily market update.
