QUANT = SLEEPING GIANT! HBAR, RIPPLE XRP LAWSUIT - CRYPTO NEWS TODAY

In this solo YouTube market update, Crypto Mason (Mason Versluis) delivers a candid overview of the current crypto landscape, emphasizing his belief that the market is being heavily manipulated and is in a lull that will culminate in a shakeout. He reports a total market cap just under $1.5 trillion, Bitcoin dominance at 43.8%, and highlights several altcoins he deems attractive (VeChain, XRP, HBAR, Quant). Mason explains the upcoming Bitcoin Taproot upgrade—its fee reduction, privacy, and wallet improvements—and speculates on Bitcoin’s role as a store of value versus a payment system. He provides a critical analysis of the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple, arguing the agency seeks special treatment and that the case harms Ripple’s ODL business. The video also covers narratives pushing Cardano and Polkadot, reaffirming Mason’s preference for Ethereum, and shares price predictions for MATIC, ETH, XRP, and others. He spotlights Oracle’s endorsement of Quant’s Overledger as a groundbreaking DLT gateway, critiques misleading media headlines and flawed market‑cap graphics, and concludes with community engagement calls and information about his streaming schedule and upcoming YouTube unban.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. You guys are the Gold Squad. Shout out to all of the Gold Squad members. Uh, we are called the Gold Squad because we look for gold in every single aspect of our lives. And we always find it. Now, before we get into this daily market update where I give you my thoughts on the entire market and show you all the important news that is going on and all of the narratives being pushed, before we get into it, the biggest way you can support me for free and make my day for free is to actually drop a like on the video and leave a comment on the video and watch till the end. But let's get into it. Skip all the talking. We've got a pathetic, boring market, um, a nasty, bad-looking market today, uh, to say the least. It's all red. Um, we dropped below 1 point— almost dropped below $1.5 trillion. We're at $1.52. Bitcoin dominance 43.8%. Now, where do I think this is headed? Where do I think this is headed? Well, My opinion is that there is extreme manipulation going on in this. It's clear, we've been seeing it for, for months. Clear manipulation happening, right? So that means that the market is following an unnatural path, right? It— manipulation is not natural. I mean, it is kind of, you could argue that it's natural, but that means that the market is following an unnatural path, right? So that means that they can make anything they want. Like, they can make anything look like it's happening. They can make it look like we're going into a bear market easily because they control the money. Uh, they— the whales, they can make it look like anything is happening. They can make it look like we're going back into a bull market. Um, so what I think, or my previous opinion, was that it's just a lull period. Basically, we just consolidate, go sideways for like um, a month, 2 months, right? And then we shoot back to all-time highs, which basically would make this a shakeout. Yeah, in my mind it does look like a shakeout. Um, does look like a shakeout to me. And by shakeout I mean like they want you to sell your bags and then they're gonna— the price is gonna rampage. Um, but as for what I'm looking at, we've got a 10-cent VeChain right there. Also, um, we have XRP at 82 cents. You've got Ethereum at $2,300. Lots of great buys. Also, we had an insane discount on HBAR over here, and Quant has entered the top 100. Look at that, $51 Quant. So everything in my portfolio is basically hurting except Quant. Uh, we have 18 cents Hedera Hashgraph, so valuable right there. Um, okay, so Bitcoin price, we can see, uh, steady downtrend, and now we're just bouncing up and down. I just think we're gonna, we're gonna continue to consolidate like this. Um, Brian on, on TikTok pointed out that we made a higher high right here and then we went down, and but except we're at a consolidating at a higher price, and that has happened in every single bear market. Very interesting. But here we've got, we got McKenzie saying that Taproot, the first Bitcoin upgrade in 4 years— they're upgrading the dinosaur, folks— has just been approved by the miners. So Bitcoin Taproot is— the activation is set for November. Basically, Bitcoin is getting an upgrade. And what does that contain? Well, there's 3 main things. Number 1, reduce transaction fees, which which is a very good thing in my opinion. Number 2, increased privacy— don't really care about that. Number 3, more wallet functionality— don't really care about that. So I mean, that's pretty cool. That's pretty cool. Bitcoin's getting an upgrade. Uh, we saw yesterday Jack Dorsey saying that Lightning Network would be used with Twitter. So it looks like, like, could Bitcoin transform into a asset for payments, because it's not an asset for payments. Why would you make a payment in Bitcoin? Like, it's kind of stupid. Bitcoin's a store of value, right? Which is not what it's supposed to be. If you deny that, you're literally— something is wrong with you if you deny that. Satoshi made this thing as peer-to-peer decentralized cash, a payment system for people. It is not that right now. What has it came to? So we're dealing with a store of value now, right? Um, and a digital gold. But that's cool. Taproot, I'm looking forward to it in November of this year, which is dope. Uh, we'll see what happens. So look at this, the XRP lawsuit update. Why did the SEC accuse Ripple of wanting special treatment? Now basically this says um, that Ripple wanted special treatment because it's going to hurt their business. Uh, the extensions of time and everything that the SEC was requesting is going to hurt their business, right? Um, and they say that right here. Hold on. Fees from its— the SEC is not aware of any decision denying plaintiff blah blah blah. Where do they say it? Um, but basically they do say that it hurts their ODL, right? It hurts their partnerships because they're getting sued. And the SEC's letter says this: what Ripple really wants is special treatment, the ability to veto a reasonable extension of the discovery schedule, uh, notwithstanding the SEC's diligence to further Ripple's litigation strategy. So a bunch of bullshit, a bunch of 5-year-olds push, uh, punching each other back and forth, the USA being stubborn. Um, sorry, not the USA, the US, uh, because those are different corporations actually. And yes, the US is a corporation, look it up. The USA is a corporation, same with Canada. Um, and the USA is not the US, that's a different thing. Uh, the USA is, I believe it's like a piece of land surrounding the Pentagon, maybe the pentagram, maybe Okay, we're getting too crazy here. Ethereum co-founder says he's investing in, uh, Polkadot and Cardano. Cool, another dude pushing Cardano and Polkadot and not Ethereum. So clearly, again, we're in the same situation. If I see this narrative blasted, I'm gonna tell you to buy Ethereum. I'm gonna tell you, I did this before, and you could have literally made, uh, you could have literally gotten in at Ethereum at $1,800 and rode it all the way to $4,000 plus. $4,000 plus. I was saying they're trying to shake your ass out, uh, because they keep pushing Polkadot and Cardano. I'm not a fan of Cardano necessarily. Like, it's a great project, but I'm not— as an investment, sorry, I'm not a fan of— as an investment, I don't invest in Cardano. I don't invest in Polkadot. I invest in Ethereum. Um, I do believe Ethereum is for the matrix, and by that I mean a matrix is a system, right? That's all that means. The matrix is a system. Um, Ethereum is for the system. It is controlled. Like, it is a— is it— it is a Ripple type thing, an XRP type thing, an HBAR type thing at this point, but it's disguised itself very well. And you know I like to invest in those because Look at this damn state of the world. Um, I need a podcast or something, folks. I could go on for hours and hours and literally blow your mind several times in one video. But he is saying that he's a big fan of Cardano, he's a big fan of Charles. Um, cool. I mean, that's not going to make me invest in Polkadot or Cardano, but that's awesome. That's awesome. And if you do invest in Cardano and Polkadot, you'll do fine. Both of those are very, very good projects. Here we've got a misleading title right here: Malaysian authorities seize over 400 Bitcoin mining machines. This is not because Bitcoin mining is illegal in Malaysia. No, it's because they were stealing power, and of course you're gonna get arrested for that. So a little misleading title by Finbold. Hmm. Here, let's move into the tweets. We've got Crypto Zone show. Do the current market cap values seem backwards when you see the statistical tech? Look at this. Bitcoin, $700 billion. Doge, $42 billion. XRP, $40 billion. HBAR, $1.7 billion. And look at this beautiful graphic right here. Look at how fast HBAR is going. You see that? That's called quantum speed right there, folks. XRP is quantum speed too. Um, but let's go, like, that looks cool. And the market caps do look backwards. Oh my, they do look backwards. But clearly this is flawed, right? He's basing it only on transactions per second. We got HBAR, it's throttled, uh, throttled 10K. Who cares? If you know what the hashgraph is, you know what's up. Crypto Mathemagician says, wake me up when MATIC $10. Ethereum is $10,000. BNB is $5,000. Solana's $500. XRP $10. He went pretty conservative on that. Uh, DOT is $500. DFIN $100. Bitcoin $35,000. Wow, Bitcoin $35,000. So what do you guys think of those predictions right there? MATIC at $10, doable but might take a while. Ethereum at $10,000, doable this year. Yep, you heard me right, I did some ASMR right there. Doable this year. XRP $10, doable this year in my opinion. Interesting, interesting right there. Um, yeah, John E. Deaton. Uh, says, when Clayton's— Jay Clayton, the former SEC chairman— pursued companies that issued ICOs like Telegram, Kik, etc., the SEC left Ripple and XRP alone. Why? Because Ripple never held a damn ICO. They did what Gensler says is the opposite of an ICO. They sold equity to venture capitalists. Perfect. And he says the case against Ripple was used as a weapon. Here we've got VH on Twitter: people are still sleeping on Quant, and meanwhile Oracle, a multinational computer, uh, technology corporation with 135,000 employees, $39 billion in revenue, are not only mentioning Quant Network, but they're clearly stating that Overledger is groundbreaking tech. And he puts it right here. Um, puts it right here from them, directly from Oracle. And Oracle is massive. Overledger is the first DLT gateway. See, first of its kinds. That's what we're— that's what we're out here looking for. Insane right there. But that is all I've got for the video. It's a pretty slow day on the news, but thank you so much for watching. If you're still watching right now, make sure you drop a like, comment, uh, follow on Twitter right here. Um, on Instagram as well. And I love you all. Stay tuned for live streams as well on Twitch and TikTok. I believe August 6th is when I get unbanned from YouTube, but I have been streaming on my second channel, Crypto Mason 2, so you can tune on— tune in on there. But thank you so much for watching and goodbye.
