⚠️ REGULATION HEATING UP - HBAR PRICE, XRP NEWS TODAY, VXV, QNT, ENJ, EWT, THETA & MORE

Crypto Mason celebrates 50,000 subscribers while covering Bitcoin, Ethereum, and altcoin prices. He argues regulation is necessary for crypto to hit a $40 trillion valuation, then examines why the SEC treats XRP and Ethereum differently, citing Charles Gasparino's analysis and clips from Joe Lubin and Vitalik Buterin on Ethereum's 2014 fundraising.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives. Now we hit 50K on the channel. I want to thank all of you. I love every single one of you. We did a giveaway on TikTok Live for 50K subscribers. Make sure that you turn on the post notifications. Drop a like right now on the video, really helps the channel out, and I appreciate it, um, and it's free. So look at this, okay, we need— we have a lot to go over. We got a lot to go over, okay? We're going to talk a lot about regulations in this video. We're going to cover all the best coins on the entire market, uh, because I'm fully convinced that we hold all of the best coins on the entire market. Okay, um, and before we get into it, also, do you guys want a Ripple XRP Decoded Q&A, like where we go live on YouTube and we take live questions about Ripple Decoded Part 6? Okay, that would be crazy. So that was suggested to me. Uh, let me know. Bitcoin, $48,000. Okay, I said yesterday we need to get above $48,000, and we literally are sitting there right now as of this morning, 8:23 AM. Ethereum, $30,000, almost $3,500 right there. Oh my, I got off CoinMarketCap. XRP, $1.10. I mean, if we look at the whole scope of things, it's kind of mixed Today we've got a lot of green definitely happening, but Elrond is down, DOT is down, Mina is down. Um, all looking pretty cool, pretty just standard in my opinion. One thing I wanted to tell you is 3 coins that I would— if you're looking for coins to get into right now, okay, because right now is really— I mean, Quant has had a huge run, Hedera has had a huge run. you would be buying the all-time high right here, okay? And you would be buying close to the all-time high here. Um, Enjin, okay, Enjin Coin. I think Enjin Coin might have some steam left to do, to have a run here. It's at $1.73. Also, Energy Web Token is at a crazy price right now, in my opinion, $11. I've been looking at Energy Web for a while, haven't pulled the trigger. That is one you could get into. Um, LCX is another one. It's at 8 cents right now. It is up pretty crazy. I don't like how this chart is looking. This looks like a bunch of pump and dumps for some reason. Uh, that looks very, very weird, not normal to me. Uh, but be careful with that one. This one has a lot of connections to World Economic Forum and different— and Quant and different things like that. Also Theta, I would say, is a great buy at $6.92. Let's look at HBAR. Look what we did yesterday. For this whole period right here, I was live on TikTok. We watched this happen. I hit, uh, Hedera hit 50 cents as we hit 50K subscribers. Craziness. My first video on this channel is actually, if you sort by oldest, it's about Hedera Hashgraph and it says 500x in the corner. So that was a big synchronicity yesterday. Hit 50 cents while we hit 50K subscribers, and then I gave away 500 HBAR, um, as a celebration. But would I get into HBAR right now? No, you need to wait until September 16th, which is tomorrow. I think that some of this news with the announcement that's happening is built into the price already, okay? I think we're seeing this price action right now is actually in anticipation for that news. And they're gonna dump, uh, or like they're gonna basically see what the announcement is and then hold or dump, right? Like, I think we might actually see the reverse on the announcement. We might actually go down. Now, of course, saying that is easy to say, but we might go up. Like, we might actually pump depending on what the announcement is. If it's a Coinbase relisting, I'm sure we will pump because because that's, that's big for HBAR. We've been waiting for that for like 3 years or 2 years. Um, but if it's anything else smaller and they've kind of like clickbaited us, uh, then who knows. I think we might actually, uh, have a little retrace on here. Vector Space, $13.85. If this gets listed on KuCoin, um, it will go up to $25. For sure, $20 to $25. Electroneum, you could take profit on Electroneum right now. Could be a great time to take profit on Electroneum in my opinion. Um, but you guys have heard my plan. I'm sticking it out through September. I'm gonna see what this hard fork does. I'm gonna see what the announcements are. Moving into the regulation talk, almost my favorite category because it's just, it's just so progressive. We're using Congress to make progress, okay? Uh, now like, this, this is what's gonna push the industry to have like a, like a $40 trillion market cap. By the way, you cannot get— you can't get up to $40 trillion without a, without a, um, uh, regulated market. That's not gonna happen. Also, if you guys know, uh, Plan B, I think his name is, uh, Plan B Bitcoin, this guy He— his username is 100 Trillion USD. So I just want you guys to understand that there are people who think Bitcoin— this guy's the dude who made the stock-to-flow, uh, he uses the stock-to-flow. 100 trillion. If there are people who think— oh, sorry— there are people who think that Bitcoin's gonna get to 100 trillion. Can you believe that? Can you believe that? I can't, I can't believe that. $100 trillion in Bitcoin. If that happens, Bitcoin would essentially be sucking the fiat out of the world, for lack of better term. It would be like a vacuum, and they're trying to vacuum all the fiat money onto the blockchain, essentially, right? That's what Bitcoin's purpose would be if it ever reaches $100 trillion, to suck some of this fiat out. But let's get into this. Charles Gasparino, okay, who is this guy? He's from Fox Business Network, okay. I'm gonna go through a series of tweets from him. I guess he was feeling himself, he was putting out some good regulation tweets. He says, maybe someone can answer this basic question: what is the real difference between XRP and Ethereum? I get, uh, I get what the SEC government is saying Okay, this guy was drunk or something, is saying, I get was the SEC government is saying re-Ripple, i.e. that it was financed by XRP, but wasn't Ethereum financed by an ICO? Exactly. And Mr. Intuitive right here says Ripple was financed by venture capitalists. They just happened to own some XRP. XRP existed before the company Ripple was made and raised funds. Ethereum for sure raised funds to start the company through issuing tokens in exchange for money as an investment. Okay, um, there you go. Like, that's just straight up an answer. We've also got an answer from Digital Asset Investor. We're gonna watch this clip. Um, Gary Gensler. So watch it, watch this, watch this. So basically, look what Gary says about, about 72 million Ethereum.
Vitalik wanted to raise money. He was maybe 19 years old. He looped in with a venture capitalist from Canada, Joe Lubin, who now runs—
so it's kind of quiet, but he's saying, uh, Vitalik moved in with a venture capitalist from Canada and they are raising funds. And now listen to what Joe Lubin says.
Yes, so we did.
Um, what was that like?
It started out channels and some meetups around the world, uh, so really pretty decentralized, um, remarkably. And we all gathered at the end of January 2014 in a house for around 10 days, maybe a little more, in advance of the North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami. And Vitalik was scheduled to deliver this paper describing the Ethereum platform, and we sort of constructed what the project would be in that time together.
Okay, so I'll talk a bit about the, about the funding model. So we will have a fundraiser for 2 months starting February, starting February 1st. It will be available at funds.ethereum.org. So we will be— so the idea is that part of the initial issuance will be 1,000 Ether for 1 Bitcoin, or up to 2,000 Ether for 1 Bitcoin if you get in early to compensate for the increased risk. So the issuance model is that we will fundraise. Suppose that we hand out X Ether through the fundraiser, then, then there will be about 0.5X will be pre-mined, and then 0.4X after that will be mined per year forever. So it's, uh, it's this hybrid of Mastercoin, of the Mastercoin and Ripple model, and the pure Bitcoin mining model.
Hybrid of the Mastercoin-Ripple model and the pure Bitcoin mining model. Do you see that this is, this is simply, uh, an ICO presale? Like, I can't believe people like Gary Gensler are just freely using the word ICO. Even the word ICO is like, dude, it's crazy. What is that? That has no regulations attached to it. You're just doing an initial coin offering. Anybody can do it. Um, so he answered it like that. We've also got him saying that Hester Pierce told me, and it rings true without Without consistent regulations on crypto, the SEC government will, uh, or the SEC will stifle innovation in the US and innovation will move elsewhere. This is the whole point. If you want a summary of what's happening, the SEC is being stupid, okay? They are, they're stifling innovation in the US and they're moving it to places like China. They're letting like places like China get ahead. Oh, by the way, I think, I think Vitalik is like a Russian, uh, you He's like a Russian puppet. Like, I really think that this dude is like a Russian puppet. Like, he is— something is up with Vitalik, okay? He's just— and this dude looks like a fall guy. Like, he looks like someone who would just take the fall for something. So that's all I'm saying. But I, I'm a big believer in ETH still, definitely. I'm— if they get sued, I'm gonna be buying more, okay? We've got this clip as well. Basically, this guy had— we had the Gary Gensler hearing yesterday, right? Some funny clips out of that. If you didn't watch my TikToks, go watch them. But basically, Gary Gensler said that stablecoins are securities. What? Like, this guy goes on to say in this video— I'm not gonna play it because it's pretty long— but he says that, like, dude, Gary Gensler will admit that cryptos look more like commodities, but then he'll go and say that stablecoins look like— or stablecoins are securities is what he said. How, right? And this guy says it doesn't meet the test, the Howey test. Yeah, how do you— how do you— it's not investing in a stablecoin. You don't invest in stablecoins, right? There's no profit that comes out of putting money into a stablecoin. It's just stable. So it already doesn't meet the expectation of money in the Howey test. So what is— okay, so moving on from the regulation talk, actually one more, one question I have for Jay Clayton, right, is why did you sue Ripple in your last days at, at the SEC, right? This is the whole thing we've been debating and thinking about for the past like 8 months now. Uh, why would you just go and then work at a competitive firm with Bitcoin and ETH and you just sued them? Like you sued Ripple and then left? Like, what are you doing, bro? So something is going on there. They— he sees it as a competitor to Bitcoin and ETH. Um, I don't know, dude, that, that's like, come on, there's some suspect stuff going on. Hiring Shatter— hiring Shatter's super coder says, okay, now we're covering Solana. Okay, so Solana is at $160. Let me check the price action. This could— you could accumulate some, some Solana here if you wanted to. I do think Solana has, uh, some upside left, especially if Bitcoin takes another run. But he is saying that there's potentially crazy consequential secondary consequences for the Solana blockchain stopping. So it stopped for 18 hours. You guys know that this has never happened to Ripple, the, the XRP Ledger. Nothing like this has happened. Nothing. It's been perfect, right? So just to compare, also the validators just come in and stop the blockchain. Oh yeah, definitely decentralized, right? Yup, yup, definitely. But he goes over a long thread of, of the different consequences. Basically, there's like, there's a lot of them. There's a lot of them. Um, and then we've got Ray Dalio saying that Bitcoin will be regulated to hell, basically, and they will kill Bitcoin through regulation. So that is what we're looking at for the entire market. I gave you a couple good coins at the start if you're looking for coins to get into right now, but ultimately we're seeing the regulation agenda just keep playing out. That's what we see right now. Um, it's so, it's so interesting some of the conversations I've been having like with my dad and different, uh, people in Discord. Make sure you join the Kryptonite Discord. By the way, the, the Sympathy for the Devil's AMA got moved to Friday, uh, so pay attention to that. It— that's my favorite NFT project right now. I'm still holding. Um, but that is all we've got for today. We're seeing this regulation agenda. I'll be here covering the whole thing. I'll never be off your screen. I'm, I'm— you'll see, you'll see. I got big plans. Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, all that BS social media, make sure you follow me on those. Appreciate all of you. I I love all of you. Thank you for 50K again, and goodbye.
