Ripple funds itself by selling XRP to investors, not from actual revenue. Most crypto tokens work the same way: issue, sell, dump. The speaker doesn't object to the strategy, just thinks people should know what's actually happening.
This is the thing people don't understand. These crypto tokens have no actual revenue streams. They don't even make money as a company. Their business was launching a token, selling it to you, and then dumping on you. That's just, just the reality. Every single token team has done this. So what Ripple has to do is dump their own token to fund their operation because you need money to grow the business. So I personally don't care that Ripple has utilized XRP as a way to grow their business because they don't make any money unless XRP goes up.
