This Is HUGE: XRP Will Win - Crypto News Today

Crypto Mason breaks down how a court ruling in the SEC's case against LBRY could help Ripple's XRP lawsuit. The judge said LBRY's secondary-market token sales aren't securities, which XRP attorney John Deaton sees as an opening to argue XRP isn't one either.

Does this new lawsuit development guarantee that XRP is going to be okay in its case against the SEC? Today there was some massive breaking news that you're not going to want to miss. What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives and we always find it. Now today we are back and today is a massive, massive win for all of crypto, for LBRY, and for XRP as well. We are going to talk about how LBRY just came out because LBRY lost against the SEC, right? But they have just picked up a small win, uh, that actually might make the difference in the XRP case We're going to talk about it and why it's important. Uh, last video I did say that we would give away 100 XRP if the video hit 1,000 likes. You guys crushed that and we're at 1.3. So at the end of today's video, we're actually going to use a random comment picker, uh, that's going to choose a comment from the YouTube comments, um, and we're actually going to award the 100 XRP to them. So if you'd like to win, uh, if you'd like to win today 100 XRP, if you like the video, uh, and comment, because your comment will be put into the comment picker. Make sure you also join the Discord, the Gold Squad Discord, free to join. We're at 16,300 members right now, growing every single day. So let's get into the market. Gonna give a brief overview, um, of what's happening in the, in the total market. And then we'll dive into this SEC stuff, which is just probably the most important thing you'll watch today in all of your YouTube viewing. So make sure you watch until the end. DYDX continues its, its push up a little bit right there. DYDX, I am bullish on DYDX. Very, very cool decentralized exchange. You can do leverage trading, I believe, on DYDX. They have continued to pump up. Uh, and then as for Bitcoin, man, $23,000, $1.6K on ETH. Everything just consistently ranging, uh, consistently ranging, um, in these same ranges that we always have. So let's get into the library thing right here. 34% up in a day, okay? And if we go to the month, or let's go to the 3 months, or 1 year right here, you can see that, um, this right here is when they announced that they lost the SEC case. So this absolutely dumped like crazy. They were at basically 2 cents, went all the way and bottomed out at below 1 cent. And that is exactly when they tweeted out, we lost, sorry everyone. That tweet went crazy, almost 10,000 likes. Um, they said, we lost, sorry everyone. And then they put the memorandum and order on Odyssey. Uh, my channel is actually on Odyssey. If you go and type in Crypto Mason, you will see my channel on Odyssey because, uh, my content is synced up on here and it just automatically uploads. So this is LBRY's platform, um, and I've been using it for a very, very long time. In fact, there's actually an exclusive Crypto Mason video on here, uh, Ripple Decoded. If you type that in, you will see that episode 6, I believe, of Ripple Decoded is only available on Odyssey. It was banned off YouTube, and I believe it's right here. Ripple Decoded part 6 was actually banned off YouTube for medical misinformation, okay? And this is an Odyssey exclusive. It's only on Library's platform. So I've been using them since the start of my channel. Uh, you can earn passive income if you're already a YouTuber. Just sync up your channel to Odyssey, uh, and you will make passive income on their platform because it just automatically posts your videos. So, but they lost the case to the SEC. Uh, Odyssey was deemed a security, but the only— the tokens that they did in the ICO were deemed a security. And we're finding that out today Um, this CoinTelegraph posts some very good stuff, uh, in the recent, uh, few months here. Like, basically since the SBF thing happened, it kind of looks like they, um, bossed up their journalism a little bit because they have these exclusive articles that are very, very good, and they're not afraid to use like community members or anything either. Like, they're quoting Jeremy Hogan, John Deaton, XRP Crypto Wolf, everybody. Uh, but what happened in the, uh, library, uh, remedies hearing, I believe it was called, uh, let's let John Deaton explain. He is obviously— we know John Deaton, he's one of the lawyers covering, uh, the XRP lawsuit. Let's take a look at what he says, um, and what happened with the summary judgment arguments. Here we go.
And so the clarity is not as, as it is, as it was, or should have been. He goes, not enough to survive, you know, to win on fair notice, but it's not lost on me. So it looks like a fine like that, and then discouragement. There's going to be some kind of discovery of whether or not there is a net profit or not a net profit. It appears there isn't a net profit, then there would be no discouragement. If there is, there could be a little And the injunction, he said that he's not inclined to do that. Then he looked at me and said, amicus, he goes, I'm gonna make it clear that my order does not apply to secondary market sales. He goes, so that should satisfy you, right? And I stood up and I said, great. I go, if you would consider some language about how the token itself is not a security, security? And he smiled and said, well, I'm a minimalist, uh, and so he left it open there. But when you think about it, if he's saying that secondary market sales aren't a play, then the token itself can't be a security. If the token itself is a security, then that means whenever it's sold, it would be a security. And so we don't know. And here's the end result: the devil's in the details. When we see his decision, we'll know how successful this has been or not successful.
So he says right there that, you know, the judge looked over at him and said amicus, which is the amicus brief, uh, that was filed, I guess, for this so that, uh, he could actually participate. And he said to the judge— or sorry, the judge said, um, that the secondary sales, secondary market sales of library are not constituting securities, right? So basically, when I sell you LBRY on the secondary market, or if I buy LBRY from anybody on the secondary market, those are not securities. And then John Deaton asked the judge to, to like, could you just directly say that, you know, LBRY, the token itself is not a security? And the judge said he's a minimalist. Okay, and smiled at him. So he, he's like, it's like even just that, right, is showing you they're still like so hesitant— excuse me, so hesitant to provide real clarity on what the heck is a security and, and what's not in crypto. Um, he said he's a minimalist, and then John goes on to explain how just the fact that he said the secondary token sales are not a security means that The token itself is not a security, but, uh, they will still get fined. LBRY still lost, uh, and they will still get fined for the ICO that they held where those tokens in the beginning were sold as securities. So what this is all about is if something was sold as securities. Now Ripple and XRP and, uh, Brad and Chris Uh, they're all, uh, being sued for essentially the same thing, which is that they sold in the beginning tokens, uh, the XRP token or the XRP coin as a security. So, you know, this— the ideal, like, pretty ideal is that Ripple gets sued and then we move forward and XRP is deemed absolutely not a security. But they get sued for the ICO. Okay, that would be okay because Ripple can pay it and not go bankrupt or not, you know, fail. Ripple can pay that. Um, so, you know, what do you guys think about this? We're going to continue to dive into it here. LBRY, uh, is right here, and they do have their Twitter banner as, you know, a part of this memorandum, I believe, uh, that they posted when they lost the lawsuit. And saying, you know, the best is yet to come for LBRY. There were several articles that came out when on November 7th, when they announced that they lost, that said, you know, LBRY is going to die now. Because if you just look at this chart, like, dude, 2018 was a huge run and then death, right? Death, death, death. But they've never been lower than they were after the SEC case. Uh, so if we keep going here, Library has tweeted out— this was an hour ago— many are calling yesterday a victory for Library, but we have not won yet. It doesn't matter if the judge says Library Credits is not a security if third parties, exchanges, are still too terrified of the SEC to work with it. Okay. So I'm assuming they got delisted off a bunch of exchanges. Yes, just look at this, okay? This can show you there has— there was literally a decision on Library on November 7th that it was a security, and Bittrex, CoinEx, Hotbit, and MEXC still have it on their platform. So that shows me that these platforms do not give a shit about the SEC. Okay, that shows me, uh, so why are they still listing this? Like, why did they keep that, right? So what Library's saying here is, you know, it doesn't matter if the SEC calls it not a security. What matters is if these, uh, exchanges wanna— are too scared of the SEC to work with it. And that's, that's just facts, right? Because, uh, Library, I believe, was on some good exchanges before but not anymore. Okay, so moving forward again, the SEC read this tweet in court yesterday. We stand by it 100%. We have not met a single honest or fair actor in the SEC. We have met numerous liars and psychopaths. Hide absolutely everything you can from them legally and never cooperate or talk to the SEC. Damn, excuse me. Uh, so this is the tweet that apparently the SEC was mad about in court, and they read this off, uh, on January 23rd. So recently they said, this is the biggest call we made wrong. We thought by being honest and open, the SEC would go after us last, but they actually went after us first because we made it easy. Now that's some absolute bullshit, right? Any crypto exchange or token that's willing to cooperate with the SEC should get fairer treatment or better treatment, right? And then they go on to say, we cannot emphasize enough how important it is to obscure your activity from U.S. regulatory agencies. Now, you know, they probably regret tweeting that out because they do clarify it here. Sorry, over here saying that they, you like, make sure you're legally obscuring it from the regulators, right? Don't do illegal stuff. But this kind of implies do whatever it takes to obscure your activity. Okay. So that was one that they focused on. John also said the SEC made a big deal about this tweet. It was read into the record. The judge openly laughed out loud at it. He told the SEC to stop taking things so personal and said that considering the blood, sweat, and tears that went into LBRY, he understood why they're angry. Okay, so the judge literally laughed at this tweet. Okay, he laughed at this tweet. So this part of this tweet, the judge laughed at it and said to the SEC, stop taking things so personally. Right? Because the SEC is just a bunch of just pansies, bro. They're terrible. They're like— they said they're, they're liars and psychopaths over at the SEC. Uh, and we're gonna play a message that LBRY has for the SEC in a second here. Um, but that is very funny that the judge laughed at that and told them like, yes, LBRY built this product and built this company and in this project and this token and everything and they put blood, sweat, and tears into it, and they should. They have the right to be mad because you're trying to kill their business. Moving forward, here's the important message from our supporters to the SEC. Ready? Fuck the SEC! Fuck the SEC! Fuck the SEC! Do you guys hear what I'm hearing? Like, that sounds like a perfect little like— I don't know, somebody sample this and put it in a song, right? That needs to be sampled and put in a song right there. Absolutely. Listen to it again and watch it on loop. You, you'll hear it. It needs to be put in a song. Fuck the SEC! Fuck the SEC! See, it has a real good rhythm to it. So let's make an F the SEC song. Moving forward, I want to talk a little bit about how this affects other tokens: HBAR, ALGO, Quant. Uh, but first, I love this graph. We show this all the time, but I want to show it again if anyone's never seen it. XRP as a bridge currency and today. So today, here's all the currencies, right? They have to connect to each other individually. How stupid is that, right? Whereas if you have the bridge currency, they all go through one bridge currency and can come out either side. Uh, but right now, this process right here that we're using is extremely clunky, slow, outdated, expensive, etc. Um, you know, some people have problems with this graph, but I think this is just a simple, uh, a simple thing. Look at this— multi-trillion to $5 valuation. Come on, bro, we are not going through all this with the SEC for $5, right? I agree, I agree. But dude, you need to be realistic with XRP, right? The realistic thing about XRP is it did not break its all-time high in the last bull run. It, it didn't even have enough strength to, to break its last all-time high. It didn't even get close, right? It got to $1.80, right? If we go to check the XRP chart, you know, we got to $1.80, look right here, or $1.90, but we did not come close uh, even— sorry, let's, let's load up the Bittrex chart because they have more data. As you can see, they have all— they have the 2017 bull run, uh, $3, right? We didn't even come close. Like, look at that, dude, it's half, right? Boom, and then down, lower low, right? So, you know, hopefully the next one isn't just like this because that would be horrendous. That would be horrendous, but that also might lead to boom, and hopefully it does. Uh, but you know, X— the realistic thing about XRP is it did not even have enough strength to, to break its all-time high. So when I say it deserves to be $5 per coin at least, I'm being very conservative on that, you know, because I, I believe it should be $10, $15, $20, $50, right? The use case is multi— a multi-trillion dollar— it's a multi-trillion dollar, uh, problem solver, XRP is. Um, so obviously it deserves to be more, but you know, $5 would make all of us happy. Moving on. So here's how this affects— this library thing affects some of our favorite coins, right? Any coin that did an ICO, you better have a SEC fine fund. Okay, that needs to be popularized as a term. Your fine fund. Your fine fund. Put away some millions from when— if you did an ICO, put away some millions, uh, to pay the SEC to keep moving forward, right? Because, you know, LBRY is just gonna have to pay and keep it moving forward. But Stellar did an ICO, right? I believe 2014, you know, uh, Massari on their launch says that they did, uh, the supply distribution is managed by the SDF. Uh, you know, this, this was the initial breakdown. I know for sure HBAR did do an ICO. There were private SAFTs involved, uh, even involved even, um, you know, and this is, this was the initial breakdown. 80% of the initial supply was founders and project. Right, so it was a— or sorry, it was a private sale, uh, launch style centralized distribution for Stellar, uh, and then for, um, for Algorand they did a Dutch auction. And I'm not sure what the SEC thinks of Dutch auctions, uh, but then on, on, uh, Quant there was an ICO as well. Um, so I mean, make your fine fund if you're a project decentralize yourself as much as you can. Create the foundation, right? Everyone, every coin is creating a foundation, and, and they, they're thinking they have the model to avoid regulation. Uh, but be care— a word to all the crypto projects: be careful. So here we go, we are going to do the, uh, $100 XRP giveaway. Let's take the URL of this right here, this video We're going to put that in. We're going to filter duplicate users. So if somebody is using a same account, they can't win twice or they can't have extra entries. We're not going to include replies. We're not going to filter it based on specific text. And then, you know, it's going to show random names. Okay, so 5, we got to enter that. And let's see how many YouTube comments, amount of unique comments, 112. We're going to click start. It's going to roll. By the way, before I see it, so I'm not biased, if it's a hate comment, you are not winning. You are not winning. If you're a hater, you get ignored. You have to live with your miserable self and all of that toxic poison that you're trying to spit onto me. I don't choose to eat it, so it just resides in you, right? If you're trying to hate on somebody, but they just don't care or they ignore you, You have to live with that toxic, gross, miserable poison that you were trying to spit on them. It just stays within you. So let's see, Dark Magu— Magetsu— Mugetsu— Dark Mugetsu has won. I pretty much am all into XRP because of their adoption and importance. Great, great comment right there, Dark Mugetsu. You will be contacted for your 100, uh, of XRP. So, that is all we've got, I love every single one of you, drop a like and comment on the video, join the Gold Squad Discord, and goodbye.
