This New Update For XRP Is HUGE! - XRP News Today

Crypto Mason breaks down two major XRP proposals: the XRP Ledger Cluster, a shared infrastructure model where node operators earn revenue, and XLS-30D staking. He outlines a laddered selling strategy inspired by David Schwartz, selling 10% of his XRP at different price targets rather than relying on staking alone for returns.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives and we always find it. Now today we are back for another video. We've got a crazy, crazy update coming out of the XRP community today. I'm going to try explain this to the best of my abilities. It's a technical upgrade that really, really revolutionizes the XRP Ledger, uh, and it is basically the Airbnb of blockchain, and it's on the XRP Ledger. Okay, this is called XRP Cluster— XRP Ledger Cluster, I believe it's called, um, and they have just put forth a new proposal, um, and this is like the Airbnb of blockchain. So basically you can contribute your hardware and contribute your node and everyone can fall back onto the public resources. That's how I, how I understand it. And if there's a larger client, basically they can, they will be charged billing, right? They need an API key and they'll be charged billing. And then the ones that are contributing the best hardware will actually get the lion's share of that revenue. So it's pretty hard to understand. I'm going to leave the link to the new proposal in the description. We're also going to talk about the staking, the XLS-30D proposal. We're also going to talk about that in this video. The first thing is though, this XRP Cluster. They are calling this, actually the CEO of XRP Ledger Labs is calling this the biggest proposal or most meaningful proposal ever put forth in the XRP community. So that is Honestly, extremely, extremely exciting. An XLS-30D, in my opinion, is more appealing to a retail holder of XRP, but this update for developers is huge. The CEO of XRP Ledger Labs is calling this kind of like the rideshare of blockchain infrastructure. And there's a bunch of different controversies on Twitter going on about this. You know, there's been many quotes from David Schwartz saying the best incentive is no incentive. And, you know, all of this stuff might not make sense to you, but I encourage you to go read the document on this, this XRP Ledger cluster. You apparently, you'll be able to run your own node and earn income like and contribute it to the XRP Ledger cluster. So I got to keep doing my research. But let's talk about XLS-30D and a little bit of my thoughts on that. So as far as updates with XLS-30D, we actually do not have a lot. Um, there's lots of people trying to figure out how it's going to work, how much passive income or rewards you're going to be able to make with it. Um, but you know, this does play into my XRP exit strategy. I recently tweeted out that, you know, I'll be selling probably 10 10%, uh, of my long-term XRP bag when we break all-time high. I think this is absolutely reasonable, and if you're not brainwashed, you will realize that, dude, 6 years without it hitting that price, I'm gonna take some of my money that we deserve, right? Take some of that money out because you guys deserve the profits, uh, from XRP. You deserve to actually have some profits. Uh, so, you know, 10% there, maybe another 10% at $5, another 10% at, um, $10 or $7. And this is actually a strategy that David Schwartz uses himself. He used this to get rich off Bitcoin. David is still selling Bitcoin to this day. He's still laddering slowly out of Bitcoin. You never want to sell your entire bag or huge chunks of it unless you really want to or really have to sell large chunks. You don't want to do that. You want to— this is how you avoid regret and maximize profits. As the price goes up, you're laddering out. So set little, um, little price points that you're going to take certain percentages out. Okay, that is the, the main way. Check out those Krispy Kremes over there, bro. Uh, That is the main way to avoid, avoid regret and maximize profits. Now here's the thing though, staking comes into play, right? Why would I sell anything? You would still sell because the profits that you're gonna make from like the token price going up are always going to be way more than you'll ever make staking, right? But if you stake your bag at $1 and the token price increases to $5 in 2 years, the staking rewards you just made are worth way more. And that's what I love— the combo of a long-term hold where you believe in the coin, plus staking and earning it for free. It's the best combo in my opinion, right? My Corium is staked in the Gold Squad validator node, and then as I hold Corium over the years because I was going to anyways. As I hold Corium over the years, those— all the tokens I earned in rewards go up and up and up. Same thing with Casper, same thing with HBAR. And we need to find more assets that we can do this with. And I know there, there are a couple, uh, that you can do this with. And hopefully, uh, with the liquidity pools and everything that's going to go on with XRP, hopefully you can do this too. I've seen some interesting posts from David Schwartz, kind of trying— he's trying to explain how it's going to work. And there's some guarantees and like no-risk type mechanisms that they're putting in place. But, you know, I realize this video might be a very vague video just because the tech of the XRP Ledger cluster and what they're doing is kind of hard to understand. And it just came out. The point here is I wanted to display that I'm still involved with XRP. I'm going to be making content about XRP until we hit the moon or we hit zero. I'm here for the entire game, folks, front to back. But that is all I wanted to say. We're still out here in Los Angeles enjoying the weather and the pool and the Uber Eats out here. But I love every single one of you. Make sure you drop a like and comment. Come chill in the Discord. I'm there 24/7, bro. Megan's there 24/7. Our moderators, admins, uh, VIP Alpha traders are there 24/7 to answer questions. It's the best support group on the face of the earth. But I love every single one of you, and goodbye.
