Leemon Baird, creator of Hashgraph, argues that Hedera and its HBAR token are built to last over 100 years, unlike most crypto projects that will crash and disappear. The hosts discuss how market revolutions follow a pattern: startups flood in, most fail, and only a few dominant players survive.
I wanted to show you this clip of Leemon Baird, the creator of Hashgraph. Here we go.
Typically, the history of any kind of market is that you have this enormous springing up of thousands and thousands of companies, and then you have a crash, and then you get down to 3 or 4, whatever, big companies that continue on there. And that's the way every revolution tends to happen. I'm sure we'll see the same pattern here.
So he's admitting what no crypto founder wants to admit, that all of these random fake use case companies will crumble and only a few will emerge. So with him creating Hedera Hashgraph, do you think he created to be one of the ones that crumbles with the rest of stuff? No, they built HBAR to be a 100+ year company.
