🚀 WHY TONCOIN IS A CRYPTO GEM! - DEEP DIVE!

Crypto Mason breaks down Toncoin, the token behind Telegram's decentralized network, as an undervalued asset backed by Pantera Capital and Tether. Telegram's 900 million users can use TON for instant cheap payments, buy Telegram usernames on fragment.com for millions of TON, and stake for rewards. The network was abandoned by Telegram in 2020 after an SEC dispute but was revived by the community.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. We look for gold in every single aspect of our lives and we always find it. Now today we have a dedicated deep dive into Toncoin. Toncoin is absolutely a sleeping giant on the market. Actually, in my opinion, it's currently waking up right now as we're at all-time high on the TON token. But today we're going to dive in. I've never talked— or I have talked about TON coin, uh, a few, a few news articles and, and such before. However, we're going to deep dive into what they actually do, um, and I found a crazy use case, uh, that's currently going on with TON coin that I'm going to show you. So let's get right into the video. Make sure you drop a like, drop a comment, let me know if you are a TON coin holder. Um, if this video hits, let's say, uh, 300 likes, I will give away some Ton coin. I will give away a few different— a few, let's say, uh, 10. I'll give away 10 Ton coins because they're $7.43. So I'll give away 10 Ton coins, uh, in the Gold Squad Discord. So let's talk about Ton coin. The first thing you need to know, uh, is Ton is an open network, okay? Decentralized open internet using a technology designed by Telegram, okay? Telegram is absolutely massive. They have 900 million monthly active users. Do you understand how big that is? That is crazy. I use Telegram on a daily basis. If you're in crypto and you don't use Telegram, you are lost. There are— there's so much alpha on Telegram. And speaking of alpha on Telegram, make sure you join me and Megan's Telegram channels. So I'll leave the link in the description. We have— we both have an official Telegram announcement channel where we can make alpha posts. There's exclusive giveaways in there and everything, right? So we use Telegram on a daily basis. It's free to join, but this technology that Toncoin uses literally was built by Telegram. Okay, getting started is easy. All you need is Telegram, so you get— you can get the wallet, uh, and have direct and easy access to Toncoin. So absolutely insane. It really has integrations, uh, with the Toncoin app and software, right? Cryptocurrency is the heart of Ton coin. It is used for network operations, transactions, games, or collectibles built on Ton. Okay, now I'm going to show you, uh, one of these use cases that I think is just very cool, very, very cool, uh, as we go on. So here's kind of, uh, some of the stuff you can do. Uh, there is USDT on Ton, so there's stablecoin usage. There's cross-chain transfers. You can transfer your tokens from Ethereum to Toncoin. You can swap and trade, of course. You can mint your own tokens on Toncoin. Uh, you can accept payments in 1 second. You guys know I'm so passionate about cheap instant transactions. That is like my main crypto passion within the crypto space, and that's why I love XRP and HBAR and Stellar and all those so much. Is because I'm very passionate about making money as easy as email, right? Email. I can send you an email wherever you are in the world for free, but with cryptocurrency or with regular money, I have to send you some stupid wire transfer with all this weirdo information and SWIFT codes and routing numbers and all that BS. It's going to cost me money and it's going to take a hell of a long time to get there. With crypto that doesn't exist. So Toncoin goes a step further and brings this to millions, hundreds of millions, billions of actual users, and they can instantly send money anywhere, right? So as you go down this website, it's just insane what they have, right? Strategic supporters, they've got Telegram right there, Pantera, which we're going to talk about in a second here, Animoca, Fireblocks, Tether itself. Some crazy, crazy people, uh, that are involved in this. So if we go to their used section as well, you've got the wallets, right? If you guys want to know which wallet I use for Toncoin, I use Tonkeeper. Tonkeeper— I've had a lot of experience with Tonkeeper so far, and I'll show you what I, what I've been using it for. But Tonkeeper is the main wallet I would go with. And then, you know, you can get Toncoin on any major exchange. If you click markets You know, they're— they've got 209 exchanges that it's available on. If we keep going down the line here, you can also stake, you can accept payments, you can bridge, uh, and then domains, which we will talk about, uh, TON domains. So you can get your.TON domain. So let's type in like, um, let's type in like, uh, trump.ton. So if we type in trump.ton, you can see it is taken. And directly on here, you can make an offer, uh, for to buy this, this domain, right? And what this domain allows you to do is easily send money back and forth and accept payments through whatever domain you have. Okay, now let's talk about Telegram actually abandoning this project. So this is pretty crazy. Um, they— so the CEO Pavel Durov, uh, this guy's an absolute boss, absolute G. You should watch his Tucker Carlson interview. Absolute boss. But he says back in May of 2020 that they are abandoning their TON blockchain project after losing an initial court fight with the SEC. So yet another project um, that was attacked by the SEC. Now you guys know I, uh, in general I kind of dislike the big crypto news outlets like CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph, um, and you know, they have to start their article with TON is officially dead. Oh my goodness, TON is dead. We go to the chart How wrong were they, right? Extremely wrong. Extremely wrong. Um, because as you can see, we're at the height of Ton coin. We're, we're higher than it's ever been, right? So Ton did not die. It was far from dying 4 years later, right? So because of this fight with the SEC, they had to abandon it, but the community came in and really made it what it is, right? Because, you know, there's, there's other theories that I have about why this happened, uh, apart from the SEC, and why the SEC probably really wanted this to happen. Um, Telegram is an amazing thing by this guy, right? It is. It will go down in history books, um, because it's just, it's crazy. If you study up on what they're doing. So Toncoin, um, they probably lost all their socials too. They only have 9,000 followers on here, probably because they're not willing to fake their followers like other projects. Um, and oh, actually, sorry, they got a million. Never mind, I'm stupid. Uh, this is the actual coin, uh, coin Twitter, uh, versus the blockchain Twitter does have a million. So I take back what I said, but I don't think these are fake either. The fact that they have a million does make sense because they have 900 million monthly users on Telegram. So let's keep it moving. In May of this year, Pantera Capital invested in the Layer 1, which resulted in a price jump. Pantera said that they believe TON has the capacity to introduce crypto to the masses. Because it is used extensively within the Telegram network. They have over 900 million monthly users, and by leveraging Telegram's vast user base and seamless UI— user interface— we believe TON has the potential to become one of the largest crypto networks. And I absolutely agree, right? Right now might be a horrible time to buy because you're at $7.42, but you never know in crypto. This thing could just continue to moon, continue to go crazy, and I believe it will. It should continue to go crazy. Maybe we have a slight pullback, but ultimately this thing is doing amazing right now. Now let's show you this use case that I have found, and this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen for crypto. This is called fragment.com. So you can connect your, your actual Telegram account here, and you can connect your TON, uh, your TON coin wallet as well. Now the first tab they have here is usernames, okay? So you can literally buy and sell Telegram usernames. Now if you didn't know, at one point in time I owned the Instagram name @mason So just Mason, @Mason. I was in possession of that and I made a very nice, uh, flip on my money. So I purchased it and then I sold it for double, double the amount. This is similar, right? You have, you have all of these auctions for some very cool names, right? We have Faded right here. So if you want your Telegram username to be @Faded or if you want to build some kind of cool community called Faded, there you go, right? We've got @visit being sold right here. We've got— what else? We've got super cool names. Treasurer sleeps. So rare names. And if you don't understand this type of thing, it's all about flexing, right? It's the same thing as NFTs. People just want to own the NFTs because they might go up in value, and it's a big flex to put it as your profile picture. So there's some of the names, and, and you guys can see, like, dude, a million Toncoin— like, that's $7 million that @news sold for, right? @bank sold for 850,000 Toncoin. So millions of dollars are being spent on Telegram usernames. How crazy is that? Now You can also buy phone numbers. You can also buy phone numbers on here, right? And you can see— let's see what— let's see the ones that have sold. So if we go to sold, right, and we sort by price high to low, you can see 888-8888 as a— as an anonymous number sold for 300,000 Telegram. Or, or TON coins, right? 300,000 TON coins for a phone number. Um, and it says this anonymous number can be used to create a Telegram account not tied to a SIM card. Very interesting, super interesting stuff. You can see, you know, people are loving these 888 ones. Um, these, the, like, obviously the more similar numbers. I guess 888 is maybe the only ones available. Maybe that's a Telegram-specific code or whatever. People are loving this one because it has the 4 zeros, right? The more rare they are, the better. Then you have premium, right? So Telegram has a subscription. Um, actually, in honor of this video, we're gonna run a— uh, I'm gonna, I'm gonna add a clip in at the start talking about this too. We're gonna run a Telegram premium giveaway. So if you want to win, um, a subscription for a year, I'll pay for it for a year for some of you, right? It'll be a certain amount, maybe 3 or 5 or 10 premium subscriptions paid off for a year. Join, uh, me and Megan's Telegram channel. It's going to be a requirement to be in both of them, and then you can enter this. And by the time this video is live, you will see that inside of my Telegram. And I will pin it. So basically Telegram Premium gets you a bunch of different, different perks and stuff. And then we have ads. So Toncoin is being used, um, and paid for— or sorry, Telegram— or Toncoin is being used to pay for ads on Telegram. Do you, do you guys know how much money goes through Google Ads every year? Google's number one source of income and revenue is Google Ads. Same with YouTube, right? YouTube Ads is the main thing. So Telegram Ads, you can pay for them in Toncoin. So this was one of the coolest use cases I've ever seen. Just a simple website where you can buy and sell usernames and phone numbers, um, and also run ads and grow your own, grow your own stuff. So the final thing we're going to cover is, uh, how they're actually solving— excuse me— data and storage. Okay, because they also are, are a storage coin, decentralized storage. So basically you can go and run a node on the TON blockchain, um, and this guarantees that the user will pay a fixed amount in TON coin to store files for a certain amount of time. So basically, um, TON storage is where you can actually go and store your files, right? Which is insane. Um, users— or sorry, a way of storing a file among distributed locations over the internet. All this stuff is pretty dangerous too, right? Like, you've got Telegram, which is an independent messaging network. Now they're making their own, uh, currency, and then they're making their own data storage, right? That's basically a country. That's basically a country at that point. And the users are the citizens, right? That's basically a country. It's freaking crazy. And I respect Pavel, um, a lot— or Pavel, yeah, Pavel Durov— a lot for making this thing. He's an absolute G. He doesn't care about money, um, you know, he, he's a nomad, I believe. So super cool. Big shout out to Toncoin, uh, for partnering with us on today's video. Make sure you go enter that giveaway, join the Telegram channels, um, drop a like on the video, and join the Gold Squad Discord. And goodbye.
