A crypto researcher who spent four years in the industry explains why to avoid it: the space is full of fraud, self-custody means you lose everything if hacked with no recourse, there's no customer support, and hype sets people up for disappointment. So for 4 years now, I've been talking about why you should research crypto and why you should consider investing in crypto on my page. But today I'm going to tell you the reasons why you shouldn't invest or even look towards crypto. Now, number 1 is because everything, basically everything in this industry and market is fake. There is a ton of greed in this market and it causes people to act like straight up king cobra snakes and just try to snake you and scam you in any way possible. And that leads me into number 2. There is a high chance that you get scammed for all of your money in your crypto wallet, right? Crypto wallets rely on seed phrases. You become your own bank. You no longer can just put your money in a bank and trust the bank to keep it safe, right? 'Cause we all trust banks to keep our money safe. Really, they're lending it out to some other people behind your back, but that's a different video. Crypto makes you become your own bank. So if your money is stolen, there's no customer service agent to call and be like, yo, I need my money back, please reverse the transaction. It's just gone, right? Number 3, there's no customer support, right? We've built a crypto community so that you do have a support of 24/7, any question you need, but there are no customer service numbers for crypto, right? It's just every man for themselves. Number 4 is the headlines make it look easier than it is. So it's like a very high chance you'll be disappointed with whatever happens on your crypto journey. Now, people like me, people like Megan are the ones that are helping guide people to not get hit by these things and have bad experiences. Because all it takes is you get into crypto, you have one bad experience, and you're never coming back. And crypto only works if we all agree that it works, right? Same thing as a $20 bill. You will do something for me if I give you a $20 bill. But really it's just a piece of plastic. We just both agree, or I'm in Canada, so it's plastic. It's really, it's just a piece of paper, but we both agree that it's worth 20, right? 20. So you take it and you do something real for me, a service, or give me a good, right? So those are the main 4. There's plenty more. Um, just overall, super dangerous, greedy, snaky market, and there's not a lot of real truth tellers. They all want to lie to you. They all want to make you believe in the dream of getting rich in crypto, but really it's way harder than they put it off to be.
