In this June 3, 2021 episode of Crypto Mason, host Mason Versluis delivers a rapid-fire crypto market roundup and news digest. He opens with current price levels (Bitcoin $38,000, Ethereum $2,800) and market‑cap figures, noting the recent drop from $2.5 trillion to $1.5 trillion and speculating on a possible rebound driven by events like Bitcoin Miami. He reviews top‑gaining altcoins (Kusama, Solana, Theta Fuel, OKB, Algorand, IOTA) and Bitcoin dominance trends. The core news segment covers: (1) an upcoming decision on a digital euro by the European Central Bank, prompting a look at Stellar and other EU‑focused tokens; (2) Russia’s announced removal of US‑dollar assets from its sovereign wealth fund, reallocating to euros, yuan, gold, yen and pounds; (3) the ongoing SEC‑XRP lawsuit, including a 60‑day discovery extension request and a memorandum seeking documents from major exchanges such as Bitstamp, Bitrue, Huobi, and iFinex (Tether/Bitfinex). He critiques Binance CEO’s claim that BNB could surpass Apple and Amazon, preferring the INX security token, and comments on Facebook’s Diem (formerly Libra) project as “weird.” He highlights Google’s policy shift lifting bans on crypto exchange and wallet ads targeting US users, which could boost marketing spend. Additional updates include Hedera Hashgraph’s record account growth, PlanetWatch’s listing on Bitfinex, a new Satoshi Nakamoto statue in Budapest, and light‑hearted observations on Vitalik Buterin at the Miami conference and an Elon Musk meme. The episode ends with calls to like, subscribe, and follow his TikTok channel for more crypto insights.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason YouTube channel. You guys are the Gold Squad. I am part of the Gold Squad as well, and we look for gold in every aspect of our lives, folks, and we always find it every single time. Now we've got a jam-packed video today again, so much news coming out. I also want to say on, on Saturday and Sunday I will not be, uh, here and able to make a, uh, a daily market update video. I'll be back on Monday or maybe Sunday, I'm not sure yet, but tomorrow we'll hop into one again. Um, but please make sure that you drop a like, drop a comment, drop a subscribe subscribe and let's get right into it. We've got Bitcoin at $38,000, $1.74 trillion on the market cap. Um, can we get back over $2 trillion? We were at $2.5 trillion. This is what I'm saying, crypto people, we're a different breed. We're investing in such a young market. We watched it go from $2.5 trillion to $1.5 trillion. We lost a whole trillion in our market. and I didn't even bat an eye. A lot of people didn't even bat an eye. They don't care, um, because we know what we hold. So Bitcoin $38,000, maybe Bitcoin Miami will be a catalyst to get us over $40K. Who knows? You got 12,000 people or whatever in the same spot. What if they all just plan to buy Bitcoin at once? That should have an effect. Or can they, can they plan to buy XRP? We'll see. Um, we got Ethereum $2.8K. So these levels are still not broken. We want above, or I want above $3K. I want above $40K, and I want them to hold it. XRP still looking like a stablecoin, folks. What is going on? Now let's check the top gainers right here. We've got Kusama. You guys know I am a fan of Kusama. I am a fan of Solana. Um, Theta Fuel, decent. OKB, decent. Theta is a yes. Algorand, yes. IOTA, yes. Um, so those are the top gainers today. If we look at the Bitcoin dominance, look at this. We were going all the way down, spike up, and now we're going downtrend again. Like, what is happening with, with Bitcoin dominance? Are we going to 20 to 30? The 20 to 30 range, it looks like we made it into the 30s. We didn't make it into the 30s. But if you know, in 2017, we go on the 5-year chart right here, 2017, we made it all the way down to like 36 or 35% on, on Bitcoin dominance. Um, that was in the, the major run-up, or I mean the major, uh, 2017 bull run. Now let's take a look at Lunar Crush before we get into some of the news. We got Red Coin, I don't know what that is. Burency, don't know what that is. We got Zilliqa in third, which is good. And the coin of the day is Fantom. Fantom is one I still haven't really dove deep into, but I know a lot of people that are invested in it. Here we've got some of the biggest news coming out. We will get a decision on the digital euro in the next coming weeks, folks. Watch this clip. This is from the European Bank. Watch this.
Issuing a digital euro may become important if a global or euro stablecoin or a foreign CBDC were to largely displace existing euro area means of payments. In the future, if the Eurosystem goes ahead with the project, and we will take a decision in the coming weeks, it will also discuss whether cross-border use of the digital euro should be possible. If this were the case, a well-designed digital euro could not only preserve the role of the euro in domestic payments, but also enhance its global role by reducing frictions, costs, and risks of euro-denominated cross-border payments.
He said the coming weeks. So with this, I would be looking at Stellar. I would be looking at all 6 of those cryptocurrencies that we featured in the video yesterday or the day before, um, with the EU document. If you don't know, join my Telegram channel, my signal channel, and you'll find the document in there along with a bunch of, bunch more interesting information if you scroll up. Here we go, we've got Russia saying that it will remove dollar assets from its wealth fund. Russia will completely remove US dollar assets from its national wealth fund right here. They're ditching the US dollar assets. So here's the allocation right here. They're staying with the euro assets at 40%, the yuan at 30%, gold 20%, Japanese yen and British pound will make up 5% each. So no US dollar assets. That's insane right there. Um, I guess they want more gold or something. Uh, that's very interesting, very, very interesting. It's a strategic— or it's a very political decision apparently from the BlueBay asset manager. Now we've got this idiot right here. Watch this, watch this. This is sheep behavior. Watch this. Elon Musk— there's a South Park meme right here. Elon Musk tweets, 'Baby Shark crushes all, more views than humans,' right? We go over to this idiot coin right here and we see it's up 106% just because he said Baby Shark. This is called sheep behavior, folks. I hope that you all become I hope that all of these people who did this, first of all, get their money and run away. Second of all, I hope they become, um, shepherds in their life instead of sheep. Now watch this. We've got an update on PlanetWatch, right? PlanetWatch was a hidden gem built on Algorand that I talked about months ago, and it's finally being listed. So let's watch this teaser video. It's 24 seconds. June 3 deposit, June 4 trading. They got PLANET/USD, PLANET/USDT. So 2 pairs, and they're on Bitfinex right there. And Bitfinex is a huge exchange. And speaking of Bitfinex, actually, the XRP lawsuit is making some weird moves right here. So basically, the SEC asked for a 60-day discovery extension. What are these idiots doing? Pissing me off. They want an extension. Um, hopefully the judge doesn't grant that, but we'll see. Now, the memorandum of law submitted by Brad Garlinghouse and Chris Larsen is requesting documents from exchanges like Bitstamp, Bitrue Singapore, Bitthumb, iFinex, Huobi Global, and OKEx. Now iFinex right here, do you guys know what iFinex is? They are the ones— they're the ones, uh, running Tether. I believe they're behind Tether, and many people think Tether's a scam. They're also behind Bitfinex, so who knows what's gonna happen with that. Uh, we've got a statement that I think is stupid from Binance CEO. Saying BNB has the potential to become bigger than Apple and Amazon. What do you guys think? Can BNB's market cap surge past $1 trillion? What do you guys think? I think this is an absolutely moronic statement right here, uh, but who knows, maybe they seem to prove everybody wrong with this Binance Coin. Um, it's an— it's unregulated, it's It's not clear on— like, that's why I'm invested in INX. I would never ever invest in BNB, ever. I would invest in INX security token though. And yesterday, if you missed it, we had the news on INX. Now many people want me to talk about Facebook DM. Yeah, Facebook DM is gonna be something weird, something weird, folks. It's gonna be something weird. Um, basically a dApp for an upcoming Diem blockchain raises $4.5 million in seed investments. So they've got the money, we already know this. But my thoughts on Diem, it's gonna be weird, okay? It's gonna be weird. And by weird, I just mean like, why is Facebook starting a coin? Like, we'll see what happens, we'll see what happens. I don't know enough about Diem, and I know that their name was Libra before, which is disgusting because they know what time is. It's the Age of Aquarius. Why would you name some shit Libra, right? That's completely opposite. Why would you name some shit Libra? But it's— and they changed it. They knew that too. They changed it to DM from Facebook Libra, um, which is Carpe Diem, blah blah blah. But here we go, we've got some Google News right here. This is big. I think this is pretty big. So basically, after the whole ICO boom, right, in 2018 or in 2017, that big run you had a bunch of scam ICOs just like we're having now. Um, basically Google put bans on certain advertising. Like, you, you can't advertise a DeFi trading protocol, you can't advertise a DEX, you can't advertise an ICO at all with Google. But now— and you couldn't advertise cryptocurrency exchanges, you couldn't advertise crypto wallets. But now they have lifted the ban basically for, um, crypto exchanges and crypto wallets. They can now target US customers. So this is big. You're gonna get a bunch of crypto exchanges with million-dollar budgets running ads to US customers now on Google, right? Crazy. Here we've got some fun news right here. Actually, let's do the HBAR first. Hbar News on Twitter. Look at this, the total created accounts on Hedera has steadily increased. There is not one month except right here where it's the same. Keeps going up, keeps going up. We had 266k, um, or we have 266k accounts now in May 2021. The highest number of created accounts on Hedera network, 60k new accounts, was in May 2021. Crazy. Here we've got a Satoshi Nakamoto statue being put up in Budapest near the Steve Jobs statue. That's what it looks like, folks. That, that is what the statue is going to be looking like. It's going to be bronze, and basically it's really cool. The idea, the idea is that it's going to be made out of a material like bronze, or I think it is bronze, but when you look into the statue all you see a reflection of yourself, meaning we are all Satoshi. I really love that. When I read this headline, I was very confused. How are they going to make a statue out of the CIA? What? Um, and here's a picture of Vitalik Buterin from the Miami conference, folks. Jesse says alien convention in full steam in Miami. And here's Vitalik right there looking like an absolute alien. You got people zooming in on his neck hair. I mean, bro, buddy, get a Brazilian wax on your back or something, dude. You're a billionaire. But that is all we've got for today. Thank you so much for watching. Drop a like. Make sure you keep— make sure you're keeping up on TikTok. Maybe you just found me on YouTube. TikTok is where it's at. TikTok is where it's at. Go scroll to the bottom, you'll find insane information. But that is all we've got. Thank you so much and goodbye.
