XRP LAWSUIT UPDATE, ETHEREUM FLIP BITCOIN? XDC & MORE - CRYPTO NEWS UPDATE

In this May 21, 2021 YouTube episode, Crypto Mason delivers a live daily market update amid a sharp crypto sell‑off. He notes Bitcoin’s 11% drop in 35 minutes, a rising Bitcoin dominance, and a broadly red market. He highlights Ethereum at $2.4K as a buying opportunity and argues for a bullish outlook on Ether, tying it to the potential "flippening" of Bitcoin. Mason shares three bullish clips: comedian Eddie Griffin predicts XRP will win its SEC lawsuit; UK MP Tom Tugendhat discusses cryptocurrency innovation and the flippening; and Carlyle Group chairman David Rubenstein asserts governments cannot stop crypto. He recommends several undervalued assets (VeChain, HBAR, XDC, Algorand, Solana, etc.) and notes news items such as Solana’s Coinbase Pro listing, XDC’s integration with Travala, and Flare Finance’s new website and whitepaper. Mason promotes an upcoming XRP telephone conference livestream, encourages viewers to join his Twitch/second channel, and thanks his "Gold Squad" community.

What is up? I am Crypto Mason and welcome back to the Crypto Mason channel. Shout out to the Gold Squad. You guys are the Gold Squad. We are not the gold standard, we are the gold excellence because we are not standard. I hope you know that you are not a standard human being. You are, um, extremely excellent, extremely above standard. We don't do the standard stuff here. But thank you so much for being on the channel once again. Drop a like, drop a comment. We have some— we— I have 3 insanely, um, bullish clips in my opinion, some very good clips in this video. We're gonna do a daily market update. Also, before we get into it, the XRP telephone conference is today. I will be streaming it. I'm not streaming the audio because that is illegal. I'm not streaming the actual phone call because that's illegal, but we will be getting play-by-play updates. We've done this before. Um, if you're watching on May 21, uh, join me on Twitch or my second YouTube channel, Crypto Mason 2, which you can find, um, you can find— I'll put it in the description. Shout out to Hizzle Crypt for the follow. But let's go, here we go. We have Bitcoin currently taking a crash right here, as we can see on the 30-minute. Let's go to the 5-minute. We are taking a little crash right here. Let's see, here to here, uh, 11% in 35 minutes. So we are currently plunging on Bitcoin. I saw a bunch of FUD articles come out just like yesterday. Or just like the initial crash, they push the FUD articles, then they dump the price. Um, Ethereum's $2.4K right now. Insane buying opportunity on Ethereum. We are going to talk about, um, Ethereum in this video. I have a good clip about it. So Cardano, look at Binance Coin at $333. XRP almost dropping below a dollar. Below a dollar. This is your best entry point right here. Your best entry point you could possibly could get. That might go— that might crash a little bit more, but who knows. Uh, looking at everything else, it looks like everything is red. The whole market's down 10%, $1.6 trillion. Bitcoin dominance has actually, um, been going up. Look at this, we hit all the way all-time low, or local all-time lows, 39. Uh, damn, it actually wicked all the way to 34. So damn, we're back up at 44 right here. And, um, let's check out the biggest gainers. It's probably a bunch of stablecoins. No, it isn't. We've got Helium and Monero are the only ones in the top 100 in the green. That is insane. Uh, you've got these stablecoins, but Helium and Monero are holding out. If I were to buy anything, I'd be buying Ethereum. If you're— if you don't have any XRP, this is a perfect time Um, what else would I be buying? VeChain at 11 cents is crazy. There is so many good buys. Algorand under a dollar. Um, get, get stacking. Let's check what HBAR is at and then we'll get into the news here. HBAR is 23 cents. XDC is 5 cents. I might have to, I might have to put a bag into XDC. We will see. Quant, has Quant held up? 47, decent. Let's check the Lunar Crush charts. We've got Litecoin right here at number 1. That's interesting. Bitcoin Cash. And the coin of the day, um, the coin of the day is Chili's. Now I'm— I have never invested in Chili's, but I do think sports plus crypto is going to be crazy. Now let's get into the first clip right here from Eddie Griffin. Eddie Griffin is a comedian right here. Actor/comedian. Watch this. He says he thinks that Ripple will win the lawsuit. Listen to what he says. I agree with everything in here personally, um, but let's go.
Well, the FCC can't stop it because they about to win the case. XRP is about to blow, uh, billionaires. We need to, you know, I ain't won yet, but I'm about to be me. So that's why I threw my name in it. We need to be able to transfer, you know, $700 billion, you know, like y'all can transfer, you know, $700.
We need to be able to transfer $700 billion like you can transfer $700. I agree. I agree. And then he goes on to say that the internet should move at light speed or payments should move at light speed, just like the business world. And he is very right. But there you go. You got Eddie Griffin on Fox News saying that he thinks that, um, that XRP will win the lawsuit. Now that's his words, not mine. They could lose. We know that. I've covered the other side of if they lose, what would happen. Um, and that's on my channel. Now, bullish on Ether, not Bitcoin. This is how I kind of feel. I kind of feel like this. Um, this is a UK member of parliament. And this is him right here, Tom Tugendhat. And watch what he says. He actually mentions the flippening, and we're going to talk about that. But listen to what he says.
This is the fire that started with the tally sticks, destroyed not just an old parliament but an old world. It brought about a new innovation in currency and a change in our economic future. It removed the restrictions that for many had held back our economy. Now, this is a time when we need to talk again about those changes, because this bill, this speech, does not cover the changing nature of currency, the changing nature of the economy.
This bill does not cover the changing nature of the world and the economy. Facts. It is— dude, everything is behind making, creating a business right? Just registering a business as an 18-year-old or whatever, a new person into business— outdated. Paying your freaking taxes— outdated. Doing anything to do with the government, getting mail from them— outdated. They send you a bunch of paper. We don't need paper sent to us. All of that shit is outdated. The laws— outdated. We've got people who are making money from anywhere in the world remotely. They're getting payments from every country in. We need cross-border payment, uh, clarity and like, like to remove the borders, remove the borders on that. So he's right, but watch this.
And the innovations that we're seeing online through various forms of cryptocurrencies. I'm not going to go in, in the few moments left to me, of the flippening and why I'm going to be bullish on Ether and not Bitcoin.
Of the flippening and why I'm going to be bullish on Ether and not Bitcoin.
Or the nature of the change in the treasury that is needed to enable innovation that sees the sharing of prosperity on a global basis.
That low-key just sounded like he mentioned Ripple, but I don't know. But for me, I am an advocate for Ethereum flipping Bitcoin. And if we go to the charts right now, we can see first of all that we almost hit $10,000 cryptos right there. Second, Um, Ethereum is at $289. So right, we've got $699 on Bitcoin, $289 here. So it's $410 billion away from flipping Bitcoin. Now I am an actual advocate for this. I would love to see this. If this happens, I am immediately 100 times more bullish on XRP just off a psychological level. If Ethereum or anything else than Bitcoin goes to number 1, I am immediately 100 times more bullish on HBAR, Algorand, IOTA, XDC, XRP, all of them, Stellar, immediately, because that's a psychological huge bubble that's bursted of Bitcoin always being the king. So I think everyone who has XRP should be rooting for that to happen, and I think a lot of you guys are. If that happens, XRP has no ceiling. Ethereum has no ceiling. Okay, I believe that Ethereum is a $1 trillion asset waiting to happen, uh, but let's keep going. Let's keep going because that would put no ceiling. That means Cardano could be $2 trillion. Like, that puts no ceiling on there. So next thing we've got is governments can't stop crypto, said the Carlyle Group's chairman David Rubenstein. And here is the clip right here. We're going to play it. It's 1 minute 37.
Watch this.
David, I know you're a long-term investor and not somebody who looks at many of—
this girl scares me, by the way.
But yesterday was pretty weird.
She really, really scares me.
Cryptocurrency decline of 46% for Ethereum. I mean, you feel moves like that and you wonder how much froth built up in the markets. Um, you wonder how much momentum has been driving things, and what, what, what would you take away? Even as a long-term investor, you have to pay attention to some of these moves.
Well, remember, crypto has come from nowhere to be a force in the market. It's, uh, in effect a gold substitute for some. And I have invested in not cryptocurrencies myself, but in things that I would say facilitate the trading of it, in various companies that are helping to, um, uh, so he doesn't invest in crypto but he invests—
he invests in exchanges. Hmm, INX maybe. But look how they list Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and Dogecoin now. That's so sad. XRP should be right there.
Trade or make it easier for people to be involved with cryptocurrency. And I did that in part because I think it's here to stay. Cryptocurrency is not going away, uh, just like gold is not going away. So yes, it had its ups and downs, and yesterday was not a good day for it, but that's true of anything that is relatively new. And I don't think you're gonna see anything like crypto going away and disappearing. It's here, and it's here because people in the market want something other than just the traditional currencies that we've had. And whether that's right or wrong, it's clearly something that the market wants. So yes, if you go into cryptocurrencies, you should expect big ups and downs and big fluctuations. And if you're not prepared for that, don't go into cryptocurrency. But the idea that cryptocurrency is going to go away or that the government is going to be able to stop cryptocurrency from being something investors want, I think is unrealistic at this point.
Absolute facts right there from Carlyle Group's David Rubenstein. Now let's move on to some of the quicker news right here. Solana has got listed on Coinbase Pro after SOL prices surge. Amid crypto market crash. Now I'm a fan of Solana. I don't invest in it though, um, but Solana's dope. Solana's dope. Travala right here has been added to— or XDC has been added to Travala, which means you can pay for hotels with your XDC profits. Insane right there. Now also, Flare Finance has released a new website. It looks beautiful. It definitely looks beautiful. Um, and they've also released a new white paper right here. So if you want to stay up to date with what's happening with Flare Finance and the Flare Network, go subscribe to the Flare Community channel right here. This guy has a great channel detailing, uh, everything going on with Flare. But that is all we have for today. Thank you so much for watching. If you watched all the way till now, clearly you're here to learn and actually know what's going on. So I appreciate you so much. Also join us on Twitch for the live stream. Um, we're gonna be streaming the XRP conference thing. But I appreciate all of you, and goodbye.
